If you trust the project, you can submit original documents. But I know that many people buy documents and send someone else's. In fact, it is better not to take part in such projects, I think. But everyone may have different opinions on this matter.

I have question people send thier kyc for ico which are passport and other documents but should  we submit real document or fake???
You should send real document to pass KYC. Fakes are recognized by the system and you can't get your tokens when you fail it.

KYC (know your client) is the way toward recognizing individual information, when the customer (a private individual) is required to give some individual information that will affirm their character. Progressively, organizations that dispatch ICOs ask their customers who take an interest in the token deal to experience id check.

Passing the check of KYC isn't exceptionally troublesome. On the off chance that you are unwilling to pass KYC confirmation, and the states of a particular ICO require check, at that point the tokens you purchased won't be discharged toward the finish of the ICO, and the cash you have spent will be come back to you.

If you provide a counterfeit, the probability of a positive KYC passage is reduced. Although some people use several accounts of their relatives, and pass KYC several accounts

Of course send the real documents. Suddenly the project will work, and it will turn out to earn really a lot of money, and suddenly in the future you will need some documents again, and you will not have any fake documents that you threw off. Therefore, problems can arise.

I just wanted to write about a similar case. He's not with me, with a friend. Once he decided to cheat, and threw off the fake documents. As a result, there were again some problems, and it was necessary to re-do it, and even additional documents to throw off - the result is sad. A friend lost money.

It is necessary to send a real document. Although I believe, but this is not correct, because no one gives us any guarantee that the data will be used strictly confidential. I believe that companies must guarantee the safety of data, then there will be no such doubts.

Guys, this is a very important topic. We in Russia already have many cases of criminals attacking investors. Do you think your data when you pass the KYC procedure can be transferred to bad people?

On the one hand, I have more confidence in projects with KYC, on the other hand, sending my passport is very dangerous. I think that sending a driver's license is the perfect solution!

Passport, driver's license, ID natiol is allowed.
Many of ICO is needed verification to avoid the money laundry, etc and this is a great of investor and ICO.

The KYC procedure is generally aimed at preventing cases of investment by money obtained through criminal means. Therefore, ICO companies do not have the right to require identification data, as well as copies of identity documents, in the generosity campaign participants who do not invest in ICO projects, but only practically engage in advertising to attract investors. In addition, if ICO wants to exclude individuals with multiple accounts, they can write about it directly and openly in the context of joining this campaign. However, they do not write this and do not even answer the question whether they will subsequently require such data and copies of documents so that each person has the right to choose to provide such data, or remain anonymous and not join the campaign.

ICO companies are beginning to require such data after the ICO, at a time when each token of generosity is credited with the tokens they earned. Here these campaigns do not care about the fact that the forum did not have multi-accounts. They do not care, it means losing your precious time when the ICO campaign has just ended and a lot of other work is ahead of you. They do this in order not to pay already counted tokens if the participant does not want to provide their data for any reason. Tokens not paid to a specific person are simply assigned by this command. This is pure fraud, that is, a fraud in order to seize property, in this case, tokens, which already actually belong to the person to whom they did not pay them, because the agreed work has already been done.

So is it necessary to send scammers their data and copies of their passports?

KYC system is implemented in a bounty campaign in order to validate the originality of a certain participants. And you must submit your true identity not the fake one in order to be accepted in the bounty. But if you will submit a fake identity, surely you will missed it and you will be banned.

In practice this will not work, since multi-accounts will begin to connect their friends and acquaintances or parents, so it makes no sense to conduct kyc for bounties

Yes you should confirm your documents, because 90% projects with kyc make a request for your selfi-photo along with the document which you should send on form, or site.

And why do they need to pass KYC in the campaign signatures? Such a check is carried out in order to exclude the attraction of money that was obtained by criminal means. Why it is required in investors, it is understandable. However, signatory campaign participants do not invest in ICO campaigns and therefore there is no sense in requiring them to provide identification information or copies of their documents.

I think if we believe in legit project I do not see the problem of sending original documents, because if we send fake we will hurt many people and it is unlawful. I suggest do not join ICO who must send our personal data.
Apparently, you have not encountered this problem yet, being a participant in the signature campaign. The ICO team begins to require identification data and copies of passports when ICO is already completed and tokens are counted for distribution to members of the generosity campaign. You will then have no choice to join such an ICO campaign or not. You are faced with the fact or provide your data and copies of your passport, or you will not receive any earned tokens. I think this is fraud, because in this case ICO company deceives us in the fact that it did not warn us before signing up to the campaign that it would be necessary to provide such data. At this forum, we have the right to be anonymous and refuse to provide such data, which should only apply to investors, as the KYC's sense is to exclude the attraction of money obtained by criminal means.
