Does it really mean 100% ownership ?
So as the owners of the company, if some day, we vote to liquidate the funds of company and distribute to the token holders. Will they do it ?

An AMA question was what would happen if they close their doors and they said that they would liquidate all assets and pay that out to ICN token holders. It has been a while since that AMA so you would need to check by yourself.

I'm sure it is from the original whitepaper released before fundraising. I am also sure there was a whole section about how Iconomi can change those terms during development, etc. I posted link to whitepaper pdf in this thread few months ago, so it can be checked.

No.

However, even if ICN follows the company's value, it still won't "moon". It would be a slow and steady growth. Anybody who originally bought ICN would have been better off holding BTC/ETH. That fact alone is enough to show it was a poor investment.

On top of that, the majority of the Iconomi community have always considered every other coin to be inferior to ICN. That's not really a great attitude to have, when you're backing a company whose business is centred around investment in all of these other tokens, which you think are useless shitcoins.

ICN: A shitcoin backed by investments in shitcoins. What could possibly go wrong?

If investors controlled the project, then it would be something. Unfortunately, ICN was just a fundraising mechanism without any utility on the platform. It doesn't matter how successful Iconomi as a company becomes and how much money the founders make - it doesn't have a direct bearing on ICN.

hey guys. i think most of us are still here and i also think low volume means everybody is holding so that's a good base. The level of marketing really got on my nerves now that everybody is talking about index funds and everybody is starting one but iconomi is nowhere find on searches with the term "crypto Index fund". The rocket chat move was bad because there could be people interested in iconomi but there's no public community anymore (looks like we're the only one left). i'm thinking about gathering some people and start a iconomi clone with voting rights from the start and way better marketing. Would be too late for something like this?

This is how it goes in crypto. ICN was hot for some time last year, but then all those hyped projects started doing ICOs and people moved on to new cool tokens. It was fun while it lasts, especially Slack channel last summer, before the platform launch.

this can be called the competition of people switching to a new token with a unique idea because now many ICO are popping up but not all switch, I see token holder there are still many investors who are loyal to ICN.
