I don't know why people always have negative thought about regulation, though in space like this it is not exactly clear how the future will look like but to obey regulation is in the interest of the investors if we look at the big picture. I know ICONOMI team will resolve the issue regarding law and regulation concerning their platform.
I read in one of their recent bloghttps://medium.com/iconominet/state-of-digital-asset-management-platforms-79477de7575e#.fra7i0bc8 that in a month's time the platform should be ready for testing "ICONOMI platform will make its first limited public release in about a month"

If you're reading this thread, I hope that you would consider adding Enjorlas to the Anti-Troll Mod Squad.  Enjorlas has been a loyal member of the community since the beginning, and he has my endorsement. Darpaski has definitely done a good job, but we certainly can use another hand in a different time zone, so the trolls will be keep in check while Darpaski is not around (sleeping).

I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank Darpaski and Iconomi for dealing with this pesky FUD situation.  You guys have been working hard, and you definitely have our gratitude.

Yeah, I was hoping "Richard" was one of the bikini-clad girls from the Lambo pics hiding behind a man's account, who just wanted to send me a "Secret Admirer's Email" telling me how much she loved & admired my ICN stash and investing skills!    

After frantically searching through my 100 email accounts, I was very distraught and saddened by the fact that I did not receive any email from "Richard."     (DAMN you! Richard!!!!   )

Seriously though, when I saw his post, I was staring at it and scratching my head for like 10 minutes.  I was thinking... "How the HELL did this Richard character know about my email address?"... "Where in the world did she send the email to? Because I couldn't find it?"

So not wanting to embarrass myself, I decided to leave a sheepish post hoping I would find out more about this email from "Richard."

Anyways, I honestly hope everyone learns an important lesson from this incident ---

If you want to tell a stranger on Bitcointalk "Check your mail!"  You better specify which email address to check, so the person wouldn't waste time checking all his 100 email addresses, okay?    You should be more specific like "Check your primary mail," or "Check your secondary mail," or "Check your tertiary mail."  But please, people, NEVER just say "Check your mail" because you might just waste someone's valuable time, Okay??  

You know cryptoinsider, any amount of time you spend criticizing ICONOMI is time you could spent improving yourself & your worthless contributions. Your trolls are repetitive, boring and seriously idiotic.

These fudders are obviously closely following all Iconomi communication channels on a daily basis.

Almost like they are getting paid pennies to fud as their job, sad!

Sometimes people think that they will start business and they will have no law to obey.
Then when they see that ICONOMI have to follow EU law - it is disaster.

But to go on track try think :
- in EU are registered exchanges Bitstamp / Bitmarket...
- those exchanges work smoothly no problems with law

Now best - try concentrate "insider"

- what is a difference between ICNX and BTC/ETH ?
Why EU exchanges can sell BTC/ETH/LTC and probably because of those same reasons they can sell ICNX/ICNP ?
Since ICNX is like buying 10%BTC/10%LTC/10%ETH at once I don't see problems here.
EU exchanges like any other are forced to apply KYC to dealing with fiat - and that is all.
KYC is bigger issue for those crypto exchanges.

With your logic you would never let people to trade BTC LTC whatever because its security or can be ...

If they start any fund fueled by BTC / ETH they have 0 problems with legislation.
So even I can start such fund now.

Add to that they will get fiat money convert them by cashila to BTC/ETH and invest then they have fund operating with fiat indirectly.
To be honest i have been reading today how tax my BTC income... I have got headake with it.

To work over EU law and have 0 problems they can just buy BTC/ETH and then invest that without any problems.

Even with legistation they can go for licence and hire broker to manage fund What a problem here ?
But since most alts is trading in BTC pairs not fiat... This is just shooting itself in knee IMO.

Sticking in BTC/ETH based investments is much easier / cheaper and saves a lot of time.
In longer run they will apply for all those licenses ^^ but for beginning this is not necessary.
Paper work is hell in EU.
But as you see till they will play with BTC/ETH there is 0 problems and that is enough to start platforms.
I live in EU and I would put BTC/ETH investments over Fiat ^^ because of common sense reasons like privacy.

PS: After seeing what Bank of China is doing their exchanges ^^ I would suggest that ICONOMI should split platform into 2 version like crypto and Fiat related. So Bank/Government will only lock Fiat side of system while BTC/ETH will go smooth without any interruption
