No! it seems they don't like specific dates but once they are ready with a part of the project and the testing they will release the info without a big fuss or a pre anouncement. You could try your luck and put the question in the next AMA.

Leaving specific dates aside the next financial report (Q3 2017) is supposed to come up somewhere at the end of this month. The fiat gateway in the beginning of 2018. this info is trustworthy but regarding the utility it's still a question mark what it will be and when it will be implemented.

you are right on that. once this coin will have a utility will be many time more useful than now when it has none. price will be bigger also, so it's still a good buy at the moment (for a long hold)

ICN is long term hold I believe we just have to be patient and wait. It's true now only buybucks raise the value of the token. But since they introcuded new DAA managers lately It's obvious that DAA management on the platform already works. Since it already works I think it's not that much work left to make it possible for every user to create his own DAA. I think it could be implemented before the end of the year. And then adding ICN token as a payment to create DAA's isn't a hard task either.

So we just need patience and not to bother we current price of ICN. In a way it's even better that the price is low, because more tokens will be bought back and burned this way, making ICN token more rare. And after it gets actual use on the platform the demand for them will rise. The less tokens get burned by then the more the price will rise after demand goes up.

When every user will be able to create his own DAA I'm sure there will be to many DAA's to list them all on exchanges. If I'd create a DAA for my grandma to invest there would be no point in listing it on exchanges. 

But some DAA managers will probably be companies that already invest in conventional stock markets. Maybe it would make sense to let them tokenize their DAA and maybe even to let them sell their DAA on conventional markets. Similar to the Blockhain One company that took over management of BLX index on Iconomi. BLX is tokenized and traded on exchanges and Blockhain one also intentds to sell BLX on conventional markets as an Index.

I think this would be interesting question for the upcoming AMA on their Reddit.

ICN will be a utility token in future . So it will automatically increase its value over time.

When fiat gateway will open it will be  a great thing for ICN.

So right now ICN token have no use at all, I can not become DDA manager, I cant invest in other DDA with ICN, just with ETH and BTC, so no one needs ICN token right now, last 24hr volume showing that its true. The only thing is buybacks that are so small comparing to all amount of tokens that cant influence price. So there is nothing to wait from ICN token price right now.
Maybe later, maybe later.

I think a DAA can be tokenized if it has more than 1M USD in it, and it probably will be one of the ICN usages on the platform

Maybe it was short time problem. I dont check yesterday after this I was busy.
New funds looks great anyway.
Each daa will be only on Iconomi platform or independent token and list on markets ?
But if daa will be many is not possible I think to make each of them independent token and list on markets.
Better is keep it on platform I think.

Anybody else have this problem?

ICN is one of best projects out there, no way it would go bankrupt. The project is built on solid foundation, they'e one of the rare projects, that actually have a working platform with real users making real profit.

The price has been low in my opinion because there's a lot of FUD SEC might recognize ICN token as security. And when Kraken was the only exchange with noticable volume of ICN tokens whales controlled the price and were pushing it down to collect more cheap ICN. And low price made very pesimistic climate around the project. Many investors were also cencerned because of lack of marketing.

Recently they opened DAA platform and atracted some big names to become DAA managers. This will bring new users, new stream of revenue and attracting big names is also a kind of marketing. Big names will attract more investors for sure.

A few days Q3 ha also ended and they will burn ICN tokens with profits from Q3 or maybe they already did, so less tokens in circulation will drive the price up. Were awaiting their Q3 report and I believe it will show very good results.

So the climate around ICN is slowly turning better nad the price follows.

The team stated in their AMA's that ICN token will have some use on the platform, probably it will be needed for users to become DAA managers. But they don't have details about it yet. They're primary goal right now is to make DAA platform open for every user, so very user could become DAA manager and earn from other users investing in his choice of tokens. Of course the token can't be used to pay for users to become DAA managers if it's not even possible to become DAA managers on the platform yet.

You just need to read the post above your post to know why the price is going up. It seems you are not aware of the latest updates.

Whats making the price hit up? I actually thought it will plunge down that ICN will eventually close after de laring bankcruptcy but I guess not still. Have the geam already made up their mind and decide to make icn token useful at some point in their platform?
