ICO has come here to stay! There is no gainsaying about the level of success that was witness in ICO in 2017! ICO has shown many skeptics of how important cryptocurrency is in crowdfunding. The next step in ICO is the accountability issue of which I believe the cryptocurrency community will find a solution to!

Ico's will not come to an end as you can see the trend of most people they wanted to earn big as much as possible. Here in Ico a good chance to earn money but all of these, it must needs an extra effort to learn on which to invest. Ico will not suddenly come to an end rather hope those Ico become successful.

Scam ico's don't really deserve any attention anyway. But the good projects will still be collecting lot's of money.
Finally. I think that due to the recent flurry of airdrop scams, ICO's received almost no attention and now that the airdrop scams are receding, the attention to ICO's has pretty much diminished. Now, the hype is all around masternodes but that will soon go away as well. I guess, the real question is, what is next??

haha...you are wrong. The ICO market are still happening. There are hundreds projects which are born every day. Some of them are really potential projects to invest such as Livestars, Crypterium or Wepower

I only wish it were true that ICO's were going away. The majority of the are nothing more than smoke and mrrors.
They will speed up even more once the new advances takes place in the bitcoin and Ethereum technology. Because the second platform is used for these projects and which means the more smarter the king and queen the faster the ICO's will be. However it's true that most of them are scam but we should never forget that there are some who are taking it as serious business and people are still making profits out of them. Yes there have been many scams recently and the rate is growing at alarming rates. But I'm sure there will be always one in hundred ICO which will turn to be inevstment for us.
ICOs will still be here a long time from now. Projects and ideas will always come on and people will want to invest on them.
Remember, ICOs made it possible for people in different parts of the world including those without credit cards to invest in projects and startups.

as you can see there was nothing was slowing the icos outhere being popping everyday.. not to mention tons of them already failure before it begin and not to mention some of scam are earning tons of money also from shit token.. all the matter of how effective they are doing it. all will turn nothing to money.
Imo it's just starting. It's the IPO of blockchain era. I think that the number of scams will reduce, but good projects in the future will just start with ICO
ICOs will never end because most of them accept the option to pay with cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, and is almost impossible to stop people from transferring bitcoin to any investment they want.
But of course the ICO's will lose strength because countries are prohibiting their citizens to invest in ICO, or at least deeming they illegal, so they could not count on the legal system if things goes wrong.
Of course the legit projects always will find a way to rise their funds and thrive no matter what.

ICOs still have oportunities, of course depending in the sources, the team and the product, investors will have to aplied more and more conditions to an ICOs team that will decreased the number of ICOs.
The inevitable consequences of all scams and frauds around ICO's are a raising attention to project selection criteria and higher requirements to the level of these criteria from potential investors. As the result, less and less projects can count on successful attraction of money through ICO. If the chances to attract capital gets miserable, the more projects will decide not to test the water at all.

Agreed. I also can't understand why people hate ICOs so much. What's the point? Who cares? Nobody looses from ICOs, only some people wins. Also not all the ICO are scam, some of them made by real talented people who has no money on development.
