have you heard about this cryptokitties? i don't think the ico is finally coming to an end, but the world is... this is unbelievable, several million dollars for a cryptosomething cat? so stupid..

Scam ICO's will come to an end, they can't collect money like they used to. Legit ICO's sometimes suffer collecting money but they won't finish, we will see more ICO's next year. I hope all scam projects will fail next year so we don't have to see their name again.
There are very good ICO's out there that are good people like me got to know about their existence and participated. And for that reason, it will not stop because we want to have the opportunity of buying into a very good company before their prices skyrocket

Do you check ICOalert.com to see the large number of project line up to conduct their ICO, what we are not seeing as before is the overvalued projects, the era of rasing ridiculous amount of dollar for doing nothing and raking the market the way Bancor team did
Nothing last forever, but right now with ICOs I think they plan to stay for good. By the way, why say such?

I don't think so. Yes, for the last year many scam ICO's have passed. But some of the project were successful.
Finally. I think that due to the recent flurry of airdrop scams, ICO's received almost no attention and now that the airdrop scams are receding, the attention to ICO's has pretty much diminished. Now, the hype is all around masternodes but that will soon go away as well. I guess, the real question is, what is next??

Ico had slow down a bit if we compare with the last 2 months, wich had almost all days a new Ico coming, now the focus seems to be the bitcoin hardfork, i had thinked with the last one being canceled there wont be any more bitcoin forks, but i read outside there are more bitcoin forks planned, and well the issue is those forks does bring more power to people wich has a lot btc volume, soo they will alway benefict, thats why altcoins has an important role, until people realize we are feeding sharks.
Is there a website that tracks the total amount raised in ICOs by month. This would be the ultimate confirmation or denial of OP's statement.
I don't think ICOs are finally coming to an end, not at all. Of course the number of ICOs are decreasing as a result of awareness among people about alot of ICOs which were scams and stuff. Still not all of the ICOs are scams and a huge number people still invest in ICOs so it is not going go end anytime soon. It may gradually reduce but for it to end completely is going to take a long of time.

Legit ICO coming. Fake ICo will be ignored and legit ico is born. AIrdrop will be left, and many exchangers will refuse airdrop. IDex refuse airdrop coin because, airdrop has no liquidity, It has no value at all. few years ago, airdrop might be worth but now too many airdrop. everyone can make new token in eth platform. Shit airdrop also born. shitcoin airdrop, what is it for? 
In my own opinion, we have more scam Airdrop projects than ICO projects, can you tell me how many airdroped projects this year has rely make head way in the space, most of them are pump and dump projects
ICOs do not differentiate from normal crowdfunding/crowdsales. No, ICO will never die, because the idea will always be present.

Firstly,I don't agree your opinion.ICOs is also very popular now.For example,RDN,QSP,TNB are some very popular projects recently,and many investors are enthusiastic about ICO.So the ICO will continue.

Why this should happen? If you look at altcoins growth trend and their ratio in coinmarketcap.com, you would have not come to this conclusion. We have a good and a healthy growth of almost 70 % altcoins. People started accepting altcoins across globe and started investing into it as well. Jump to:
