A shit token is different from a scam token.
Do we really need to differentiate between shit and scam token? did you intentionally invest on scam token or shit token? lol. In the end either shit and scam token will become worthless, so the better move is to avoid all altcoins. This will prevent you from choosing a shit and scam token.

Most people don't want to invest on Bitcoin because they said it's expensive, around $41K right now. Actually no one force you to buy one Bitcoin and you can buy some portion of one Bitcoin is.
You are right, they will become worthless and its better not to hold them, who wants to hold such coins anyway? Shitcoins can bring huge profits too but holding them is wrong, I can name few shitcoins can gave me good profits that I can never earn from Matic, Luna and other popular altcoins.

A shit token is different from a scam token.

Shit tokens....

1. They have worse use cases that not one needs.
2. The team aren't even experts, they just create token to acquire more knowledge how the thing works.
3. Not well supported and bad marketing from the team.
4. Pump and Dump moves.
5. Bear market kills these type of tokens easily.
6. As time goes on no more volume is available.
7. Exchanges start delisting them.

Scam tokens.....

1. Intentionally created to scam people.
2. FOMO and Hype at first just to lure people.
3. Good and attractive offers (HYIP, 70% discount Price, etc)
4. Anonymous team members with confusing and unclear utility.
5. Pump and dump moves.
6. When target is met they rugpull on investors.

Most altcoins enthusiast will say: read the whitepaper, find the use cases of the tokens, look at the UI/UX, check the team, which exchanges they have been listed etc. However I've already seen so many good project on the beginning and convince other people to make the project looks serious, but in the end the project turn become scam project and run with the investors money. This mean, even you have identify a project... there's no guarantee the project is legit.
