Yeah, I would participate in IEOs, but as you know chances to get winning tikets are so low. That's why I prefer to trade+ doing bounties as well.
in my opinion IEO's hype is almost the same as ico in the previous period, where everyone put their money to profit from investments and also joined the bounty. the question is actually simple, can it reduce the developer scammers?
IEO is killing all the ico system which we have seen in 2017 and 2018. I am following some projects and maybe if i have some spare money to spend, i will participate.
The IEO will be popular, of course it will happen because the IEO has changed a lot of the smart contrac systems that were previously carried by the ICO.

IEO now is more populer than ICO. Many of the projects that failed to try again with IEO. So I think there's no harm in trying the IEO. Which is important before trying to make sure the coins we buy are good and are in a good and reputable exchange to reduce the risk of loss that is too large.

Though I believe investor this time are much more cautious than the last time. It's just the IEO from trusted exchanges that are selling like hot cakes.
There are even some IEOs that are not being totally funded and the tokens being bought by the exchange itself.
I agree, many IEOs held by small exchangers do not generate profits even the price drops shortly after the listing on the market. I think we really have to be careful about choosing IEO even though it is now the trend of collecting new projects through IEO. An assured slot on exchanges does not mean that profit will be made. That does not follow. IEOs are better only in the sense that they are going to be listed on exchanges for sure. But the offered coin is never insulated from serious dumps and even zero volume if the project does not have a working product. Projects depend on their products for investors' interest and trust. And so investment must be on this basis as well.
IEOs can be worthwhile investing in if the startup has a good quality product and a decent prospectus available for investors to evaluate its viability, but always make sure you compare the performance of similar offerings and launchpads to determine which ones may be most beneficial
Been participating to some ICO projects that I like and feel happy with how it turns out, I mean the profit you will get at least it is "guaranteed" and you are no longer to be afraid for your coins of choice to be not get listed on exchanges because of scammers.

Not all IEOs are the same. IEO are the name give to ICO that are hosted in an exchange.
Not all Exchanges are same likewise the process and criterion of listing a token sell as IEO is different.
Some of well established exchanges has a dedicated team that researches and selects best of the projects that have applied for the IEO while many others just lets in for a fee.
I don't have the capital to invest in the IEO but I have participated in promoting the ORYX IEO project which on July 1 will start at Vindax. If I already have money, I will try to invest in various IEO projects.
In order to taste the sweet of IEO you need to pay by holding a portion of BNB at least, that's not favourable for small investors just to get on a hype coin for profits, if the project itself has revolutionary idea with working mechanism why not, matic is a good example and it's doing good at least for now, I would say IEO is sort of premium product for investors, still it's more promising than ordinary ICO these days
