IEO is the best and safe now than ICO, i think very few think about invest in ICO.
I thought that IEOs are going to replace ICOs completely and basically exactly this happened during the last several months. But the strange thing is that even Binance IEOs are not giving profit right now. The last IEO ended with 1,15x profit.
For sure we are giving power to exchanges that are holding those IEOs, but on the other hand, solid exchanges are helping us to avoid scammers, because it would harm exchanges much more than regular users, so in my opinion it is pretty fair.
IEO and ICO have very striking differences, for ICO you need a very long time to get into the exchange place, whereas for IEO does not require a very long time, but you must be careful when you want to participate in IEO because now there are so many criminals who do IEO by creating a platform of their own exchange.this is why I really like if there is an IEO that comes from a large exchange place such as binance or kucoin and others that have popularity, security and high volume.
We can't trust those exchanges that was created by an IEO platfrom unless those legit exchanges that's mentioned here was initiating the project. Apparently the differences of the two type of offerings whether ICO or an IEO, their advantages is really degrading the reputation of crypto. New potential holders and investors probably won't give their 100% confidence on crypto now, thinking that it was just a waste of money and effort once there's no positive outcome particularly on profit gains after project participation.
IEO is better than ICO. IEO is already in the exchange so there is no need to worry about buying and selling the coin after the sale. ICOs can be really annoying since they need a lot of time before they can set all up since they need to apply to exchanges for listing and it will take at least a few weeks before they get listed while IEO are straight up in the exchange and the only thing that you need to worry about is what price will you sell.
IEO clearly wins this year but it barely sustain the momentum for more than six months. I remember how aggressive the buyers in the first IEOs in binance just like the old ICOs. Most people have thought that IEO is much safer but they were wrong because now, the last tokens that are launch on top exchanges are just automatically get dumped. But in terms of roi, no coin offering will beat ICOs that can do an instant 100x.

ICO means Initial coin Offering and IEO means Initial Exchange offering. Two are very different from each other. I think IEO are a bit better because they atleast provide you security that you will get an opportunity to sell your coins and you would get something in return if it's priced much lower than the IEO price.
IEO is much more prioritize of the investors now, while ICO still not good impact in the eyes of the majority community in this crypto industry.
But of course, we sill need to be careful because not all IEO exchange is guaranteed to say that the project will succeed at the end of course not all the time.

IEO has been a big name this year, and ICO has almost died. Yes, I agree that IEO is more likely legit compare to ICO, but before we invest in everything, it is more important to do our own research, we should not be procrastinate in spending a certain amount of our time in searching for the right one to invest our hard earned money.
It is better to be safe rather than risking our money without any action in our part.
I myself will even choose IEO over ICO now. although we can see the potential in the project, if a project has the same potential, I will choose IEO. people will definitely think the same as what I think about this.
If have good manager IEO and ICO good for investing, not have different way how to earn money with ICO or IEO because both of them is the investment kinds, just have little way with IEO short time for listing and ICO have long time for active trading. When got with good manager, team and advice of project trusted we can join both IEO and ICO.
I like investing with ICOs project, don't care about how long waiting for listing coin because have road map for all ICO project for pre sale until main sale, I always buy in pre sale time because many ICO give higher bonus more than 50% for every investor buy ICOs coin on pre sale time, I will sell all it when active for trading my coin and my bonus coin

If we are talking about ICOs, sometimes even taking into account bonuses, the price of the token when it appears on the exchange is lower than the price at which you bought, and even in the future it may not increase. Therefore, I consider IEO a less risky way to invest in projects. 
This is really a very hot topic this year. Many people are still investing in ICO and some are investing in the IEO. So, everyone still has confidence in the ICO and certainly more for the IEO. I really don't look at the ICO or the IEO, because if the project I invest in is good, it will certainly have an impact on the value of my investment.
ICO and IEO both have their own advantages and disadvantages, but I see IEO better than ICO because the developers are directly selling tokens to Exchange and investors will be more confident they can directly buy the tokens in the market.

For those that have been around in the Cryptocurrency market for a pretty long time the question to invest in IEOs or ICOs has been the main discussion point in 2019.
For some especially on “bitcointalk” it is clear that they won't invest in IEO anymore. After I have followed lots of discussion on bitcointalk i realized that people have moved on. It is a clear that people invest in IEOs as the platforms will evaluate the projects and give the investor the feeling of security.
Nevertheless i have observed a trend. The numbers in the ICO market have been declining but stayed fairly stable in 2019. The main reason for moving on to IEOs was the astonishing amount of scams that had flooded the market, since it was easy to make a lot of money.
This move to IEOs has something good. I believe that as harder it gets to hold an ICO as more the projects have to do to convince potential investors. Scammers want easy money and my hope is that the ICO market will come back slowly. Projects that will hold an ICO have to invest more time to convince people.
I sadly had to accept that those who scammed investors destroyed the dream of projects with little money that have great ideas. To hold an ICO and build a community of investors around it is a great way to fund your project without going to big VC firms. Unfortunately those you scammed investors destroyed the ICO market till now and it will take a lot of time to recover.
I have accepted that IEOs are currently the way to fund a project. The only thing that worries me is the power we give those exchanges. Is it really god idea to give that much power to exchanges in the cryptomarket.

At the moment, the only way to get profit on the cryptocurrency projects' fundraisings is to participate in IEOs on top Exchanges like Huobi or Binance, but in this case there is a risk to get losses because of dump of the Exchange tokens.
If we go back in 2017 there was no concept of IEO, ICO was the main platform for investing in new coins but due to more scam and failed projects in 2018 now investors only trust and want to invest in project which is conduct on big exchange in term of IEO.
And I will say one more thing that IEO and began to fall into the pit of fraud. A year later the same thing will happen again what happened to the ICO everything will turn into a SCAMIf we go back in 2017 there was no concept of IEO, ICO was the main platform for investing in new coins but due to more scam and failed projects in 2018 now investors only trust and want to invest in project which is conduct on big exchange in term of IEO.
Because of those many scammers who put up ico's then runaway with investors money, the concept of IEO's being introduced giving the early investors a better chance to earned without waiting for listing as the exchange that will lead the sale will automatically list the coin and ready for trading. Finding good project which available to big exchange in terms of IEO's give you some confidence that it will materialized and bring profits to your invested money.
In my openion , Investing for an IEO is better than investing for ICO ... because it is listed on one or more exchanges... But Without good exchanges like Huobi , Binance,Hitbtc, Bittrex , Kucoin, other average exchange's IEO are not good enough to invest. So be careful before you invest your own money ...
Please don't allow the IEOs to deceive you. Just because a project gets listed in an exchange such as Binance, there is no guarantee that it will be a success. The chances are better, since Binance carefully screens these IEOs before allowing them in the platform. But as we have seen from the PLUS token scam, the criminals are not averse to spending a few million USD, if they think that they can accumulate funds worth 10x or 20x that amount. So just because an IEO gets listed in Binance, you can't say that it will be 100% safe. Even if it guarantees the immediate survival of the project, the long term prospects depend upon the performance of the project team.
