It would be the countries that bans Bitcoin (eg. Iceland, France, Bangladesh, Bolivia.) They're banning transfers between fiat and Bitcoin for their citizens. And even that is almost impossible to enforce.

Bitcoins biggest enemy isn't the banks IMO. Its governments and corporations wanting to control the Internet. Bitcoin doesn't threat the elite as much as an open internet does. On the internet you can discuss and do anything you want, you can even make anonymous untracable transactions with the help of cryptocurrency. Making sure the internet is no longer as open as it is today by inflicting surveillance and censorship would probably spell the end of Blockchain technology. Maybe the tech will live on, but the whole purpose of Blockchain and Bitcoin is to give more freedom and power to the people, if that was to be controlled and centralized alot of people would give up on the tech and move on to something new
Well, the Internet is a big threat to those in power, that is why you see countries like Venezuela forcing censorship in facebook and similar websites, a government only cares about maintaining its own power and anything that threatens that is treated as something highly illegal, but Venezuelan people just want to get out of the difficult economic situation they are facing and that is impossible to resolve if the same people remain in power.

Even I had my own enemies that are adjacent to my home and few of them are related to my business as they don't want me to grow rich. This happens everywhere in this world and we have to take steps follow on instead of giving answers to those people.

Bitcoin has grew up and no one can kill it as years has been over and running.

Bitcoin is a currency that has gained a lot of enemies. Companies that want to operate using the virtual currency struggle to create bank accounts, as a result. Especially, Banks and other financial institutions are seeing it a threat to their existence, because big transactions and fund transfer and investment are also possible via bitcoins right now.Banks and financial institution are thinking that their business is going to be scaled down. This type of phobia is meaningless. If banks & financial institutions become bitcoin exchanger and allow bitcoin as medium of transaction, their business will be scaled up.

Like everybody worst enemy it is our self and bitcoin worst enemy is bitcoin, if there no development improvement and innovation in bitcoin it will stuck on it and users will switch to other crypto. I dont think that government are one of the worst enemy of bitcoin as the government duty is to make and impose the law for the better of a nation. Banks are not the enemy also as bank has establish their reputation long time ago.

Government is my choice too since government is totally contradicted to the features of bitcoin itself. Alt coin is just a simple competitor of bitcoin but not enemy, like government, it also leads to banning the bitcoin in some country lead by those officials that can see the threat of bitcoin to its economy.
government and bankers are its worst enemy.

Yeah I agree on this.
When the government sees an opportunity to something that they think can be a source of a lot money they'll do anything just to make it their own or in their control, This is how they see bitcoin, they see it as a well of money.
And no one can stop them until it touches their pockets. And this is happening now in China, closing all exchanges and soon they'll  launch their own exchange. The one they can trully control.

As we all can see now, bitcoin has a lot if enemies, first, those who keep on saying that bitcoin is a fraud, without even reading any articles regarding bitcoin, they are just there saying it is a fraud just becayse of hearsays and not because of factual basis. Second, the banks. Banks are scared of bitcoin, since bitcoin is decentralized and almost everyone could have it, and it is being given a high value in the market, thus making it more valued than gold, these banks are afraid for their existence, since bitcoin is a new currency, and for them, their fiat might get devalued or even worst, obsolete, that's why these banker bad mouth bitcoin now, before it is too late for them. The third one, i agree with most people here, for me it is the government itself, since bitcoin is decentralized, they cannot regulate it, so they cannot have profits, from what i see, if the politicians in your country are corrupt, more likely, they will go against bitcoin, since they cannot tax it, they cannot something to put in their pockets, so they bad mouth bitcoin, so people will be scared of investing in bitcoin and they can pocket in a lot of mkney, that's coming from your taxes. Lastly, the people in the stock market, the all knowing so-called gurus, most of them doesn't like the idea of having a decentralized currency, that is, if you ask them what are their investments, most of the people i encounter who doesn't like bitcoin, are those who invest in only in the stock market, however, those who invest in commodities, they do take bitcoin seriously, and treats it as an asset, for sure those people are used to volatility.

If i will say one enemy of bitcoin it will be the bankers and the bank because they own our money and since cryptocurrency is already decentralized, there will be no owners. We are all the same at equal level. No one is holding our money but ourselves.
Maybe the government too are bitcoin's biggest enemy. Government who wants to take control of everything even currency.

It has many enemies and altcoins are not one of them since bitcoin is far more superior than them. The enemies are things that have influence on it such as the media, people with financial influence like JP Morgan and mostly the govermant but i think with time these obstacles will begin to fade since bitcoin is gaining popularity.

I'm not sure, but it seems ETH will be a good enemy for Bitcoin, i don't know what else can be compare with Bitcoin besides eth.
I don't ETH is really an enemy for bitcoin, because it's just a crypto, I think the real enemy for bitcoin is peoples who buy there bitcoin and peoples who don't believe in bitcoin.

So, There is nothing can control bitcoin only peoples can control it, so the enemy is some of peoples as i think.

At this point, all coins are working together. There is no "enemy" to Bitcoin. Although you could say Ethereum is competition, as it is taking market share away from BTC on a daily basis.

there are a lot of enemies of bitcoin, the majority of them self made. besides the security issues, the lack of consensus, and the general user unfriendliness, there are two core issues that we rarely address here:

lack of user identification (psuedo anon nature) and lack of user dispute mechanisms (its ireversible). the reason the gov will most likely not accept bitcoin in its present state are these two characteristics, above all. for all practical purposes, you dont want a digital payment mechanism without identified users. even if it is made with the best intentions, every asshole in the world will use said system for evil shit, because it is anon, and it works. also, because merchants lie sometimes, just like customers, you want to be able to reverse some transactions, aka the chargeback. these features are required in sound money because people use money, and people are shits. until we address these (which go against the core tenants a bit):

bitcoin is not sound money Wink
