The same question is about drugs, people use, buy an sell those even knowing its ilegal, but they feel pleasure doing such. With gambling its almost the same thing, even not allowed you will always find a way to make your bets inside your country or outside.

If gambling is illegal in your country, would you still gamble?

I wouldn’t do it, but gambling already illegal in my country, people do it furtively in real life and some do it in gambling website. Well, government regulation can’t make everyone obedient.

I agree with you, even the government is going to prohibit the gambling in your country. There are still hard-headed citizens that are going to do something to satisfy their gambling needs. And of course, they are going to gamble inside their house and going to make their house as a gambling place instead of the gamblers will go to casino's.

if I really like gambling, I think even though it's illegal I will still play. although there is a concern, but I probably will not play it all the time, because it will also be very dangerous. but my country it is illegal, but there are still many people who play in public, well, I think it is an easy thing to hide

Yes its illegal in my country but still I am gambling, thanks to bitcoin which allows me to gamble online with it and where I don't have to disclose my identity, so no one knows I am into gambling.
Most country in asia ban any gambling activity , online and offline.
But online gambling we can still play through vpn to pass the ip ban, thats make people allowed to gamble from anywhere.
I am asian and it is hard to go to offline casino , even hard to find a casino.

Really surprising since in North America most Casinos that I went too there are mostly Asian people there. Asian people are generally huge gamblers.
There a big offline casino operations in macau China and marina bay Singapore.
If they did not play there then they move to u.s casino or canada as in Asia only China and Singapore have a freedom of gambling.
Thats why most gambler in North America is Asian. And come as a high Roller.

Use also a vpn which can help you more with your anonimity. As long as there is no specific law bout gambling in online casinos, you can still gamble and nothing to worry about. But if all kinds of gambling including online casinos are prohibited, i suggest to follow this law. Breaking a law is crime so its up to you if you want to break it.

Offline casinos or those that has their papers and permits and has its own building are not banned in where I live, but I am afraid that soon our new government leader might have a more aggressive move against online gambling.. I think it will be more agressive compared to last administration that ceased a lot of hidden online casino that exist in here..Lots of raids happen that time and maybe more this time..  But I think it is a good move...  Smiley

Depends on how strict the rules are for gambling. Mostly, countries only ban online gambling since they cannot tax it or do not have some kind of laws to regulate them. On traditional gambling houses like casinos, I might still play a game or two on them just to entertain myself.

Yeah and Government doesnt support online transactions like this currency. So even thou they are implementing the gambling law that its illegal in some part of the world, still you can and you cant be punished because bitcoin is an anonymous currency and we all know that bitcoin is an international currency, so even thou they banned bitcoin in your own country, still you can buy some products using bitcoin by converting your bitcoin into some other currency like Euro or US dollar.

If gambling were illegal in my country then I would not gamble as we have to remain obeyed with our government and with the law of our state, with that our state will be a powerful country and we will get the success, and o we will have more amusement in our life.

Agree.

as a good citizen, we must comply with the existing regulations in our country.
Besides the danger if we break the rules.
maybe you can say this things if you are not in yet but if you are already playing gambling will like drugs to you, keeping breaking the law even it is restricted, i guess having some fun doing it will let you become addicted.
I think, it wouldn't be like you have a drug addiction if you've a job are very time-consuming then by the time goes you will forget about gambling.

Nope, I will not, that's risky, if government would restrict us from those gambling websites, then most probably keep an eye on gamblers,  that might put you to prison.. Better abide the law than gamble with high risk and low profit... Authorities might surprise you...  Grin

i will not gamble if gambling is illegal in my country, but you know what, sometimes i have a strong desire for gambling and i realize that was a bad desire. so if i have got this desire, i will use vpn and play gambling by stealth mode  Grin
Yes, with bitcoin payments and VPN connection you will be virtually out of country and you do not need any of your identity to be exposed for the gambling purpose. This way, I strongly believe we no more need to worry about any country specific restrictions about gambling.
Bitcoin means freedom, if you fully realize that then no one could stop you from your gambling but gamble responsibly.

So, you are talking about Philippines? What about normal real life Casinos? They are fine and your president has not problem with them?
Banning online gambling and keeping standard old school casinos around is pretty much extreme case of hypocrisy and double standards.

You are right! Real life casinos is always online here in our country but I don't have any experience yet about it. I know he is doing this for all of us, I vote him so I trust him. He is just concerned to all issues and problems here in Philippines.

Here in my country our new President is not going to allow online gamble as he hates it but for sure there are my fellow countrymen they are still going to gamble online with bitcoin because their winnings they can just manage to put it on a mixer and it is not going to be traced on where did they claimed it.
