If gambling is illegal in your country, would you still gamble?

Gambling is illegal in my country, but peoples are playing it and like it a lot. I also avoid gambling for a long period of my life. But now because i am working with bitcoins so sometime i play it but only online gambling. I think it is better and it is easy than casino gambling. But personally i don't want to be a gambler.

If gambling is illegal in your country, would you still gamble?

I think if gambling is illegal in my country, i wouldn't dare to play gambling games. Reason is that I don't want to have issue with the authority.   I have been living a nice and peaceful lives, why would i gamble it for a mere seconds of entertainment.  Better follow the law or suffer the  consequences.

Who is to gamble will always find ways to do it whether it is legal or illegal. We all know gambling is risky and majority of us always end up at loss but we still keep gambling. If loss factor can't stop us from gambling then this factor of illegal is very small. If it was illegal in my country I was still playing but it isn't case in my country as I can play legally without worries.

Gambling is not illegal in my country as we have set up casino in our country. However, anything else form of gambling that is not under the approval of the country will be illegal. But there still exist a lot of illegal gambling den and people keep going there. The reason is that they do not need to pay levy taxes on entry and they have more freedom and choices as compare to the casinos.

So online gambling here in our country is already prohibited but I think it is not yet strict. And we don't know if bitcoin is included, hope it is not. I would like to visit still online gambling since I know I can make a passive income cause of referral commissions.
online gambling cant be prohibited because it is just a click away from the internet i guess what the government regulates are those online games which is same concept with casino but most use computers, the actual online betting especially using bitcoin is no longer needs any private profile for you to bet.

I don't think inviting people from other countries would count as online gambling. Unless you actually gamble with the comissions, I think it's not. Online gambling is prohibited in lots of countries, but most people are using VPNs or Tor to access them so they can satisfy themselves.

If gambling was illegal in my country I was still playing it. I like to gamble even all my bets are smaller but it is like passion to have those feelings when I win bet. Bitcoin and vpn services made online gambling accessible for everyone from around the world whther it is illegal or legal in those parts. I was of course by passing the authorities to gamble online.

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.
Regarding to this topic, gambling is not illegal here in our country  but as our new president sit on his position this june he want to stop the online gambling I dont think if it includes the bitcoin gambling. I dont think if its really okay to my fellows here if it will happen, but if it does there are so many way to do it, like using vpn's to hide your IP address and location.

If gambling is illegal in your country, would you still gamble?

I would emigrate in such a case to some a country where I do have more freedom, not because that i wouldn't be able to gamble but because I won't let someone force there will on me.

Bitcoin is not currency of any country or recognised as a reserve asset, precious metal or fixed value.    Its hard to tax something like that, sure they can make up some rules always but I think its more like people who collect classic cars and dont really pay any tax even though the price of Ferraris has been going up for years.   ie. Ferraris can held as currency tokens for the extreme rich elite
I know in UK they are specially excluded from any tax, wouldnt be surprised if alot of things were ignored.  So why would they go after cryptographic tokens especially.

Another parallel maybe as new as bitcoin is online game tokens.  I dont mean casino tokens but like the kind of exchangeable goods you find in massive online multiplayer games.   Right now some people have no clue what the heck Im talking about yet at least millions is transferred via that method.  Again not really taxed nor should it be because thats dam ridiculous when you already paid tax on having a job and so on

gambling in my country is illegal , but it's not a big deal at all .
there are a punch of people here who offer sportsbetting services and the government seems not to care at all.
also there is no rules at all when it comes to online gambling.

There are rules and laws in place but the thing is they are not well enforced since the law enforcement has higher priority crimes to concentrate on. Unless  the government can make some money of gambling like tax it they they probably don't care very much.

Yup no government will catch if we do online betting, And one more thing if we do gambling with our real cash means they have a chance to check our bank details, But we are playing with Bitcoins so in this they will not get any details. This is the beauty of Bitcoin. So online gambling is safe in all country.

i may not! because so far i have tried gambling for a while and then gave it up and then came back to gamble some more but i am no longer that enthusiastic about gambling anymore. so in case it was illegal today that would be a motivation for me to stop gambling once and for all.

of course, i dont care Grin
What does it mean by I don't care? If gambling is banned in your country or state. It means that it is for betterment of you and your country. No one can be such selfish thinking only about theirselves. And if gambling is illegal and if you are still gambling, you are undoubtedly a criminal.

Not all gambling is strictly prohibited here in our country and I think that online gambling is still okay. Whether we use VPN services or not, nothing to be worried about. But for me it is recommended to use VPN as long as we are using bitcoin.

Actually it depends on what country that you are playing at right now. For some country which has religion involved into it I think they will banned it for sure but for others case like online gambling or may be secretly open small casino, that is another story again and may be if you secretly play on it I dont think that you will be get arrested

VPN is recommended for people who live in countries that made gambling illegal. But for those that aren't, it's a waste of time(and maybe money).
