Crypto is so secured that no one can access your wallet unless you give the person permission by sharing your wallet keys, the only way funds can be moved out from your wallet when you are no more is through your wallet keys. This topic is so much interesting you know we all have in mind that we are not dying any time soon but truth be told nobody knows what tomorrow holds for us, many bitcoin are lost today because the owners are no more and no one can access their wallet, so I think it's better  to  write all our passwords, wallet keys in a book  and keep in a safe place then make it known to our love ones that if by chance we are no more there should go through the book that it contains alot and also make sure the ones you call loves ones are all crypto enthusiasts or has an idea of how crypto works, by doing this there is no fear of loosing our bitcoin when we are no more.

Inheritance is one place bitcoin or crypto assets becomes controversial as its basically an issue of trust. Though, it might seem okay to let your family aware of your private key details and most of all, your wife in this regard but then, how safe is it. Seriously, there could be a misunderstanding in even the most perfect of marriages that could lead to devours though, this isn't a thing I wish upon anyone but its real and it happens. In cases like this, your left to hang in the balance, your best option is in transferring all the coin in your wallet to a new one or you stand the danger of whatever might occur should your spouse choose to harm you in a way or do away with all your coins. Worst of all is if you die, then, the rest of your family have little or no detail of its existence.

Inheritance could be an issue in bitcoin really.

It may be good to keep the passwords you use, ie your wallet passwords, in a notebook. Only the passwords in your brain will die with you when you die.

Secure the recovery phrases for the wallet and keep it filed. I've kept a separate file for it, and has shown it to my wife. If something happens, she can recover the funds available within the wallet with those recovery phrases. Apart from this there are legal service renders who handle funds and settle to the respective person who is the legal heir. This way achieving ones bitcoin after death has turned to be an easy process.

I paid with my btc,the transaction was very easy and faster.
I find this ridiculous to believe because it isn't true. Except OP meant to say the incident they described happened in 2019/2020 during the bear rally because Bitcoin transactions at present are frustrating the hell out of anyone making use of such services. Paying with USDT seems a much better option as delivery speed is fast with cheap transaction fee. Whatever clogs up Bitcoin blockchain and makes transaction too expensive in fee is trying to negate what Bitcoin stands for. This may begin to cause a lot of people to move away from using Bitcoin. Even as I type this, I have a pending Bitcoin transfer which is yet to confirm for 3 days running now.

On the issue of someone getting assess to your Bitcoin after your demise, I think that is something one arranges before one's demise. You can show your wife where you wrote down your vitals (private keys/pass phrases and others) relating to any wallet you own. It's as simple as that.

I am curious with what you say to your wife.

You can explain that as long as you tell her about your private keys and everything about your bitcoin in your wallet, she can use it easily as you without a problem. If she does not know much about bitcoin, you can teach her the basic thing about bitcoin and how to use the wallet, including how to send and receive bitcoin. By doing that, you can delegate your bitcoin and your wallet before something worst and who knows, she can use your bitcoin better for her life and your child.
Actually letting them know about bitcoin or the keys, the passwords of any of your wallets be it digital or hardware wallet are not really enough if she doesn't know how to use it. So better than letting them know, leaving them the hints, the keys start teaching her the basics of crypto like how to use this tools, how to open the apps simply the basics. Having bitcoin for me was more than being lucky and worth it to have and very valuable.
Maybe he can try to explain everything about how to use bitcoin, including making a transaction and explaining by practice with the other devices, so that can make her understand and there will be no problem with them to use bitcoin. But we should guide them to use our wallets, the keys, the passwords and else them to use our wallet in the future. Yes, if they can use bitcoin without a problem, they will feel lucky and worth it of having bitcoin and they can also try to increase the bitcoin that you left to them.

I went to market with my wife to buy things for our new born baby, after my wife selected baby things that Worth thousands and I paid with my btc,the transaction was very easy and faster. When  we returned home ,she asked if you die can I achieved your btc or continued with your account? Because it's very easy and faster in trading and transaction.
for some people this is a painful question but in fact your wife is a person who thinks about the future.  when a man or woman has children, their priority is the child, so indirectly this question is just a mother's concern for the future of her child.  using Bitcoin as a means of payment is certainly very easy and it makes a great desire not to lose Bitcoin, especially the bitcoin that belongs to its partner.

All you need to do is provide the wallet seed cluster and anyone can access and use your wallet.
In the event that you did not provide your seed cluster or password, no one will receive your bitcoins.
Better yet, if you are that worried and you can afford to do a will and testament, maybe include all the necessary credentials to access your wallet in the case that something unfortunate happens. To OP, I don't think that you have to worry about it, if you die, that is the least thing that someone's dying is going to think of.

Just let your wife know anything about BTC and share the private key of your account so that she could access it anytime she wants. At least, both of you know how to access your digital wallet and withdraw some money in case needed. I'm glad that BTC is being used as a medium of exchange in your country and hope my country adapts soon.

While bitmover has explained how to transfer the BTC wealth to the next of kin, that question sounded so dark; after shopping, go home, gets asked "Will I get your BTC if you die?".
Well, I think that's just the question of those who don't understand bitcoin well.
Even some longtime crypto-market activists don't fully understand bitcoin, including the questions of what bitcoin is and how it works.

Its an important topic and shouldn’t be ignore. As a Bitcoin and Altcoin holder I keep all my private keys and passwords in a notebook so that when the time comes that I need to pass it on my holdings it will be easy for them, I also educated my wife about crypto from basic to advance so that she will know how it works.
it's a good and proper way to pass crypto on to our future generations or to people we truly trust.

lest what we do in crypto is lost and cannot be opened by anyone. Passing crypto is also very important because crypto has a good future.

Without giving access in the form of a private key and some passwords, you will not be able to open it

Tell her about all the things that she needed to know because once you die and she havent able to access those coins you do had then that would be truly a waste of coins that you do had.

Remember that dont put up your coins on a custodial wallet on where you dont possess the keys of it because not your keys then it isnt really your coins.

Its not denial that when it comes to transaction and ease of payment system then bitcoin could really do that job well.Just be mindful on how to secure out those coins

and make it to be an inheritance once you passed out.

You could share the private key of your address with your wife and both of you could have the same address on different wallets. Or if you have an app or online wallet you could give her access to it.

The problem is the security, if both of you have the private keys and the wallet gets hacked, will be hard to know who was the target.

This is something I wanna do to. Even if only to ease the burden of my passing. Burning a corpse to ashes takes about $1000 in the US and then they'll need to fix up my room and clean up my mess.

So.... Well. Yeah. But I don't even have a last will and testament or whatever. I need to get on it. Doggone it.

,she asked if you die can I achieved your btc or continued with your account?
I know, but this seems to contradict the features that make the bitcoin brand - private, peer, and free!  In that case, let your wife know or send your bitcoin savings and create a wallet and show her how to use it.  That will help each other to understand bitcoin and maybe your children will also have rich properties in the future Smiley)

Just give her your private key, or maybe account that held your BTC and train them how to use it and everything will be OK. I think that is what i will do in future, because if i died suddenly and no one can claim my BTC, so it means it will be gone forever becaus my closest family which is my mom not really good into technologies.
