That is a good thing to do but as for me, since the value of bitcoin is already at a really good rate, I will just spend may be half of it since those coins were free from OP anyway. There is no loss at all whether I spend or save them.

yeah, if we are getting it for free then we can spend it on anything that we want, I would choose to sell 5 btc and convert it to fiat and invest that money somewhere else, and rest 5 btc in will hold for future.

10 btc is really a very high amount to have, and you can definitely invest it in different products to get best returns from all of them in future, and it will minimize the risks too.

I'd actually get into stock market and try to trade it up to the highest amount and probably donate it all to charity so it's actually well spent. Maybe try investing it...

Could also wait up till the value of it is potentially high enough for me to start a new business, hehe. Though I'm still not relatively sure about it, a lot of things are actually possible with 10btc.

Yeah holding bitcoin and selling it for $1k per piece will be a great decision because you can earn a lot of money without using your own money because you got the 10 btc in a giveaway(if he is serious on giving bitcoin).

I think he should not have to sell all of his coins, as the price will increase the whole year and the better decision will be that, he only sell the profit from there, so he will get a continuous profit.

if you have bought bitcoin lower than $300 then it is a good profit to sell at least a part of bitcoin to get some profit but only if you need the money. otherwise keeping it for the long time is better for making real profit.

I always confuse all who are still stand to an uncertain speculation, they prefer not to sell their bitcoin though according to my current bitcoin prices are quite high.

That's what everyone is saying these days despite the uncertainty of the upcoming halving event. No one is really sure about the price of BTC after the halving, but historically, it didn't change.

I guess the previous halving was not enough of a change to change the prices.

We might get a same case scenario last 2 years ago in which bitcoin soar up to 1200 then suddenly dropped below $200 which really surprise bitcoin enthusiasts.

if I were you? It's better to invest your 10 BTC. for the greater return you as you return. so while earlier that invest or to withdraw mo for sure

well i would buy some things which i want to buy and put some for trading and invest some in something and i have plan to start a business where i can buy/ sell products through bitcoins and keep some safe in my wallet for the increment in the price of the bitcoin in future:)
