Yes, I think it would be a good choice to invest in Ethereum at this time. Because the price of Ethereum is now less than $300, the cost of investing now will be low.

Ethereum has proven itself worthy of a project one can invest into. There may have been challenges over the years which balls down to security and scaling but it is still waxing stronger among all altcoins so far. Investing such an amount should not be an issue in the long run as long as that is not all you have which I usually do not fancy putting all one's egg into one basket.

Current price is cheapest price for Ethereum in this year, and the price of Ethereum will be according to scalability issue in their blockchain. My prediction the price of Ethereum will be going up and surpass $1200 next year because Ethereum keep in development to be better, they will change to Proof of Stake and will solve scalability issue and possible to proccess amillion transaction persecond.

It is sitting at low levels for the past 12 months so it is realistic it will rise from here, be prepared to wait for some good profits the market may not pick up again until the end of 2018.

Maybe you should split it. With that much of money, I think you would earn more investing in ICO's rather than in something that is somewhat stable I guess? Like if you would compare the profit margin you can get from ICO with ETH, I would say there is more profit in ICO.

To be honest, the investment amount of $600 is very small. It is not particularly suitable for investing in ETH. But I still recommend you choose ETH because ETH is safer than other Altco. As ethereum is dangling at $300 and below at the moment, your decision to invest $600 in ETH is very good and prudent because you'll be able to buy 2 ETH comfortably and you stand the chance of gaining 2 more ETH or more when ETH rise up again which could be around the corner as we speak, my advice is don't doubt your decision, go ahead and invest and keep watching for your great profits

I do not think that you will lose everything, maybe you will freeze your funds for 1-2 years before ethereum grows very significantly
