If Kamala is indeed anti-Bitcoin and she won the presidency, there will be certain disadvantages. There surely won't be Bitcoin-friendly regulations. Concerned agencies might be ordered to tighten rules against Bitcoin.

But all this doesn't dictate the path that Bitcoin would eventually take. For one, Bitcoin isn't based in the US. Neither is Bitcoin under US' control. Life goes on for Bitcoin, business as usual, even if the president is anti-Bitcoin.

We only have to remember that Bitcoin succeeded in its infancy even if everybody was against it. Bitcoin reached wider adoption, made one ATH after another despite scathing remarks from previous US presidents. Trump was anti-Bitcoin when he was president. Biden is also against Bitcoin. But look where Bitcoin is now.

Also, don't forget that the most powerful people in the United States aren't the politicians. It's the wealthy elites that made the political careers of the politicians possible. Spot Bitcoin ETFs were ushered to the US market despite an administration that's anti-Bitcoin.

If Harris wins, crypto will be doomed. After all, it's the Democrats who imposed heavy regulations on the crypto/Blockchain industry. The Biden Administration has been characterized as an anti-crypto one (despite the forced ETF spot approvals by the SEC). It's likely a Harris win will trigger a bear market on crypto. The opposite would happen if Trump wins.

There's simply no evidence that Harris is "anti-Bitcoin", and Bitcoin went up 500% under president Biden.

I suspect you and others are simply saying this because you support Trump / support making abortion illegal in the USA.

As for Bitcoin itself, there's no reason to pick Trump over Harris.

It's said that Harris won't attend this year's Bitcoin conference. Actions speak more than words. We can't predict the future, so lets hope for the best. Cheesy

The crypto market may only be affected if Trump wins, not by Kamala's victory. Bitcoin is already not having many supports among politicians in the United States but still it is striving properly and still getting new people to invest in it. If Trump wins we can witness more people invest in it because he may try to make it attractive but if Kamala Harris wins then maybe nothing will just happen at all and we'll just keep waiting for the next big event to send the price of Bitcoin higher.

Bitcoin To The Moon 📈📈📈
In the current conditions, politics is always at odds if there are two candidates. If Trump supports Bitcoin then Kamala Harris refuses. I read an article titled Kamala Harris Seeks to Eradicate Bitcoin: Crypto in Danger. In her writing, Kamala explained that the nature of bitcoin as Anonymous, decentralized, and widely used for crime causes a lot of harm. So it seems that if Kamala becomes president, the regulations will be very strict. But maybe this is the case or not. Maybe one day he can change his mind.

Source: https://www.cointribune.com/en/kamala-harris-aims-to-eradicate-bitcoin-crypto-in-danger/
Kamala Harris thinks Bitcoin is crime money that she is clearly against bitcoin in her country, this as a two-way debate in contrast to Trump who supports it, but we know that Trump is more supportive after being pro against bitcoin.

Of course regulations will be stricter what about institutions that hold more bitcoin, right overall American citizens are the most bitcoin holders I know, if Kamala Harris wins the presidential nomination then at least there will be an impact, but again I agree under Kamala Harris even bitcoin will rise hundreds of percent.

I think it better we stop speculating what the impact of a political candidates will be on bitcoin or the entire cryptocurrency market, because at some point this is needless a d a waste of time since each candidate have they own administrative policies and at the same time the country have it own policies that the president will drive on, so regardless of Kamala or Trump whoever wins bitcoin will continue to exist with and beyond their government, so let prepar to see a change of government instead of building on our fear of what the future will be for cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin went up 500% under president Biden.

You could therefore expect Bitcoin, under Harris, to plug right along like it has been doing.
Now that Biden is out of the Elections, can you finally shut up with this propaganda?

How is writing down an undisputed fact, "propaganda"?

The only propaganda here is the incessant drone from the folks here who want abortion to be illegal in the USA--also known as Trump supporters--saying, over and over again, that Biden "hates Bitcoin" or implies that Biden--and now, Harris--will be out to "get" Bitcoin should she be elected. There's simply no evidence of this.

Under Biden:

  • Bitcoin went up by 500%.
  • SBF--a big-time Democrat donor--was put in prison for his crimes, sending a clear message to fraudsters and clearing the way for mainstream investors to buy Bitcoin safely (and unlike with Trump, it won't matter how much you donate to the ruling party).
  • The Bitcoin and Ether ETFs were approved, making it so anybody in the USA can buy into Bitcoin as easily as they can buy any stock.

This is not a picture of a president who "hates Bitcoin" or is "out to get Bitcoin" or wants to "end Bitcoin". The Bitcoin market grew and thrived under Biden, and it will under Harris.

And meanwhile, Trump promises radical change to the US economy, starting with deporting 5% of the US workforce immediately in the largest deportation operation in history. And the criminalization of millions of abortions in the USA is going to require a new police state bigger than even the old, "War On Drugs" police state--and police states tend to... hate things like Bitcoin.

The safe bet in the 2024 election in the USA is to stick with what has worked, which is Biden and now Harris, not take a chance on a convicted criminal like Trump.

It seems that all of them will have their own impact to the market positively. Barrack already have mentioned him and his wife to Kamala. While the other presidential candidate, RFK JR. said that he had put his wealth in Bitcoin. You see the trend of these politicians, they'll flock to communities that they can get as much as sentiment that they can to earn their votes. Everyone is so much invested on these thinking about their impact to the crypto market. I'm not denying that they play huge roles upon being elected, whoever wins but we have no control over that.

But we do not know if it is true.

But I know that even if the United States president do not like crypto, bitcoin will continue to increase in value because Americans still continue in bitcoin adoption so far the regulations do not ban or totally cryptocurrencies.

On one hand this is to be expected since she was putting people in prison for smoking weed. On the other, it's also expected that Republicans will say these things to show the difference between her and Trump, like it's all black and white only (Trump for bitcoin and Harris against it). I wouldn't trust any politician when it comes to these promises. Both of them are probably going to suck as presidents, but Trump is going to suck less Wink
What if she wins... it's quite probable that she will since she's behind only a few % and there will surely be a debate so we'll see what the polls say in a month. Personally I'd never vote for a socialist and if there are rumors that she will be bad for bitcoin, you people should wake up because she's going to bad for money. All socialists are bad for everything: money, economy, taxes, stocks, you name it.

Bitcoin went up over 3000% under President Trump.

This does NOT mean Bitcoin will rise by over 500 percent during Harris, nor does it mean it will rise by over 3000 percent during Trump.  It just means the price of Bitcoin increased over a period of four years.

Comparing what happened to Bitcoin during the Presidency of Biden to what would happen to it under Harris is like comparing bananas to concrete.

Also.  Considering the last years of evidence of Biden doing really silly things, being incoherent, asking for forgiveness for speaking gibberish, calling Zelensky 'Putin', falling off stairs, not being able to stay onto a bicycle, going the wrong way et cetera, I think it is very funny to praise him for what Bitcoin did 'under his Presidency'.  And keep in mind I do not mind Democrats generally, as much as I do not mind Republicans either.  It is just very stupid.  This was in fact probably one of the most stupid Elections in American history.

The US would likely diminish its influence on the crypto space and the rest of the world would carry on regardless.  There would be very little impact for non-Americans.  Contrary to popular belief, America is not the centre of the known universe and is not the "World Police".

Hmmm
- highest numbers of companies owning Bitcoin
- largest institutional holders of BTC
- highest hashing power in the world
- highest numbers of nodes and lighting nodes
- most BATMS
- most companies accepting Bitcoin
and more importantly
- most money to throw at

You may not like it but everyone is glued to the news coming from the US, not from anywhere else, nobody cares about interest rates in Brazil or Mexico but every bitcoin trader has his heart racing when the FED is in a meeting.

You keep repeating how Bitcoin went to the moon under Joe Biden. The only positive event that happened under him was the approval of the Spot Bitcoin ETF. And this approval was not the only reason for the rise of Bitcoin, other factors contributed to it. Maybe Bitcoin would have gone up more than that if not for his attacks.  I don't also think that this is the first time Bitcoin has appreciated 500%.

You know what Trump did for Bitcoin when it was president?
Slapped a tax on trading and a tax on mining gear, and has no plan of cutting those back.

If she wins then we shouldn’t expect much on the crypto side from America. They’ve made it clear that they’re not in support of bitcoin and also in that article she said she’ll eradicate crypto from America, posted by Luzin above serves as a deter to cryptocurrency in America. Since America is the country that has the more influence in crypto, it’ll just move away to another place but crypto will still continue to be regardless. Trump showing interest in bitcoin has made it look more realistic for him to win and also Biden not contesting again is a like a straight pathway for Trump to be the next president of America for the second term.

Harris is very new to the race, and since cryptos seem to be a major campaign point for Trump, I expect Harris to address them at least briefly. For now, some are feeling optimistic because of her age and roots in California, but we'll certainly need more than that. Alternatively, we might see the crypto position reflected in her VP choice. It's too early to say for sure, but I don't think she has any reason to choose an anti-crypto stance.
In any case, I'll reiterate that I hope US citizens make cast their votes based on more strategically important points rather than based on what candidates say about cryptos.

Seems is true behind my researching on google find many article publishing about bad viewed from US president candidate Kamala Harris about cryptocurrency, regarding from cointribune news, Kamala Harris claim bitcoin is danger of digital transaction payment and he has difference viewed about bitcoin behind his compete of US candidate president Donald Trump.

Its important for US citizen as cryptocurrency holder or trader, give your vote for candidate want to give space for bitcoin become legal digital payment transaction and previously Donald Trump have announced his self will support bitcoin, he has collected 4 million dollar as donation from cryptocurrency for his election campaign. Excited to see any US government one day later have good viewed about bitcoin by giving space as legal commodity assets until becoming legal payment currency transaction.

We can't predict accurately on politics and likewise the same way we may not accurately predict on bitcoin price, if Kamala eventually wins, anything can change, we can't trust human being to that extent, but as the way it all came in all of a sudden over the withdrawal of president Biden, i think there is more we should look into behind this, or maybe those in support of bitcoin were the real political giants in which we don't know.

Because Trump supporters here, who support Trump because they want abortion to be illegal in the USA, keep repeating the falsehood that Biden (and now Harris) are "anti-Bitcoin". It just isn't true.

Adding regulations to the market and enforcing financial laws increases the price of Bitcoin because it allows average investors to safely invest.

Do you want another FTX fiasco, that dumped the price of Bitcoin by 75%? Vote for Trump. Trump is a criminal who favors criminals and vows to let criminals loose on consumers. This will send Bitcoin buyers heading for the hills.

Kamala Harris has been portrayed as a hardcore anti-bitcoin politician. So her win might cause FUD since investors will assume that her policies will be harsher than her boss's. But the market will readjust as usual. If she comes up with stricter policies, other countries might end up becoming a haven for the Bitcoin business.

If we look at the bigger picture, we can see that no matter who the US president is, bitcoin has been and is still growing over the past 15 years. So you don't need to worry too much if the Democratic Party continues to win this election. During Mr. Biden's 4 years in office, although he had harsh and unfriendly policies towards bitcoin, you could still see bitcoin constantly growing, so even if Kamala Harris was elected, nothing serious would happen.

Everyone is looking to Trump because he will be the first US president to support bitcoin if elected, people are expecting him to create a strong breakthrough for bitcoin if he keeps his promise. That's what's going on.

By the way, a Harris win will not be "unexpected": the polls right now are nearly even, and the Harris campaign is only a few days old, and she clearly has very strong momentum.

In fact, I've read many pundits say that this will change the race entirely, because it will refocus the race on abortion and Donald Trump's criminality. The only thing Republicans talked about before was Biden's age--they never talked about policies because... Republicans lose when they talk about policies since they are so unpopular.

And people forget that the United States has never elected a convicted criminal for president--and one would think it's likely it never will.

In anything, it will be Trump to "unexpectedly win", not Harris.

Pretty sure the majority of Trump supporters have proven themselves to have about a half-dozen braincells to share between them and genuinely believe the bloated, senile whack-job is going to bring about some global crypto revolution, like he's some sort of fucking messiah.  But it's all delusional nonsense.  Trump doesn't give two fucks about Bitcoin and I guarantee that, whoever wins, the Fed will still dictate US monetary policy, not least because Trump is financially illiterate and bankrupts everything he touches.
