I think it is around 75% because I somehow bagged quite of an amount before the end of the previous year. It ain't that much but it is an achievement for me since I am not a 'heavy' player. Also, I do engage more with sportsbetting so no matter what the outcome is, I do still enjoy the experience itself.

Well, atleast you are not forcing your luck too much. For sure we are mostly aware that there are players who are pushing way too much just to be like those who made fortune out of this industry. Luck will always have a special place in this activity. The impression of being rich in an instant is the thing we should avoid. Knowing how uncertain winning is, it would be much better to always measure the risks and amount that has tendencies to be lost. As long as you enjoy what you are doing, for sure you won't be eaten by the misconception of what gambling really is all about.

I will rate my 2022 gambling luck 5% out of 100, I didn't gamble much, but for the little I gambled, I didn't win much either, Infact, I think I lost more money than I won from gambling in 2022.

My gambling plans for this year 2023...
I currently do not have any plans yet for this year as I've not really settled into the year, have a few debts from last year I am still trying to settle before I think of gambling again..

My 2022 is not so good, I gamble not too often this year because I have a lot on my plate but if I am going to rate all I can say is probably 60% because when I lose in that particular day I will give my self rest for about 3days i think? or I will play the next week. My max bet per game is 100$ as well, I disciplined myself not to add more and if I will lose I will not try to take it back.

I made a lot of bets last year, and it's hard to measure in percentage my perceived luck, rough estimates though could be just 10% give and take. And it just shows that it's hard to win, only small percentage could have made big money here.

But as gamblers, we are more willing to take risk and test whether we are lucky or not.

Might be good if we have a poll as well in the beginning to see where we at in terms of numbers.

As for my plans, yeah, continue to gamble, what else, hehehe, but probably just be smart and just lose money that we can afford and don't gamble with our emotions.

I was thinking for a couple of minutes right now to calculate my percentage of luck, but I can't calculate it since I haven't counted my winnings and also the game I played and bet on, but I would say 3 percent since I rarely won last year, I think because I played a few games and then rested for a couple of weeks. I rarely gambled in the past 2 years because I just lost my job, but for sure this year I will have a budget to gamble every month as long as I have extra from my salary. Though I am hoping that I could win big, I still just put it in my mind that I do it for fun.

In 2022, I was actually quite happy and pretty good for a start, especially when betting on big domestic leagues, especially for the Champions League and Europa League. But other conditions were a little disturbed when the world cup. There were lots of surprises there that made me lose my confidence a little for a few matches when betting and this was really annoying because even though analysis and in terms of strength made the difference, in the world cup that was over, I made lots of mistakes in betting so I lost be an absolute condition.

That was way too low I thought I have the lowest at 30%, 50% of it is from casinos and the remaining 50% is from peer-to-peer betting where I bet against my friends on boxing, basketball, and cockfighting I guess I have a very low percentage because I sometimes chase my losses and I go for possible upsets

I'd tend to rate my luck in the 70% range when it comes to gambling, mostly because that's likely the percentage of bets that I put down which are fully covered. The remainder would probably involve lottery tickets which never win anything substantial and the odd little trip to the casino. Maybe you cannot call that luck however, if you're taking advantage of freebie or generous promotions that allow you to walk away with $10-20 quite easily every week. Quite a few casinos/sportbooks have removed offers from my account but there are a couple who don't seem to follow this practice. If you're running at 5% then frankly you should save your money and find better places to spend it.

I only made few bets on 2022 which I proud to say that my winning percentage is around 80% last TI on Dota2. This is the only time I made courage to bet again on sportsbook and win a decent of gambling after a long hiatus. But I’m so unlucky on trading which drain most of my profit on gambling.

If this luck measure only counts the betting stats then I’m 80% but if the final outcome is what being measure for the year 2022, roughly 10% lucky.

I also didn't win that much last year, so not a good percentage for me, probably in the highs of 10% only. Both land based and online casinos, I don't know, maybe I was not meant to win huge money last year.

Hopefully my luck is different for this year, yeah same here, credit card bills and others that we need to settle before we can gamble. Too much temptations though, but hopefully I can get through all of this because I want to settle my debt first as well.

I also don't have plans yet for this 2023 for gambling. I'll gamble whenever I want and when I'm in need. Things like this shouldn't be really part of a plan because when you do, are you even sure that your plans will be followed?

It's a gambling and when emotions are too high even if you're firmed with your plans, I don't think that you'll be able to follow what you've planned for the start of this year.

As for my stats for 2022, not that much as well, more losses instead of wins but that's fine as those bets I've made were I've enjoyed a lot mostly in sports.

Not sure how the calculation of luck in gambling, but if it's calculate by the initial deposit and the outcome, I'd say my luck is 2-3% only since I lost 97-98% money which I deposited on the casino. I'm not sad because I already know gambling in slots will suffer losses due to house edge, but I'm really happy because I can hit huge multipliers to satisfy my feelings. Just gamble what you can afford to lose, don't chase for winnings.

And as for the plans, I don't have any. I think planning to earn money through gambling would be a bad idea for anyone. We should gamble for fun, entertainment and relaxation, and earn money through other ways.

Have you tried changing gambling platforms maybe the one you're using isn't favorable to you. I once had this issue and after I move over to my current gambling casino, I have been doing somehow great like I get the wins when I'm feeling lucky and some days things are just flat but I understand that's all part of the game.

In 2022 my winning percentage was 80% for sport betting, I won majority of the times I place a bet while other times football been football, teams that you'll think can easily defeat the other team lost and that cost me some loss. As for luck based games, I didn't take note of the wins since I knew that was just me been lucky and not my skills working.

I rate my luck in 2022 at under 10% (probably under 5%) because I'm not exactly sure how to calculate it. What is clear is that the losses I have experienced are still greater than the wins I have won. But that's okay because I'm not chasing winnings from gambling and just want to have fun gambling.

My gambling plan for 2023 is to continue playing gambling for fun as before and will not play gambling using larger amounts of money because that will not guarantee that I will be able to win a lot of money. I think gambling should be treated as entertainment and nothing more so that we don't experience huge losses.

No you are not unlucky but you simply lack knowledge and experience on the sport that you are betting. If only the type of gambling that you play is casino then being unlucky is a valid term. Even though sports betting mainly relies in knowledge and experience, losing can still be inevitable sometimes but that was fine as long as your winning rates are still higher than 50 percent.

This ensures that you aren't only burning money but you are still gaining something. It's great that you will go out of your comfort zone and try something new but you shouldn't think that playing in casino can give you a better win than in sports betting but they are great only if you want to have fun.

I wasn't lucky to something around 80% based on what I've lost. I was able to have good wager and increase my chances of reaching next VIP level. I was about to quit at several occasions as the losing continued. The run to recover the loss kept me pushing hard. Finally I was able to recover almost 80% of what I lost throughout the year. I thought of chasing to recover the remaining 20% and my inner mind said you may loss everything once again chasing the 20%

My gambling activities were much into casino games and particularly on Dice. 2021 was the worst year compared to 2022.

I don't see much point in the abstractness of that question about the percentage. As if luck were something we could measure with a ruler or a tape measure and then apply a %.

If we can do something similar, I only see sense in comparing it to the Expected Value, because the difference in real results with respect to the Expected Value is what can help us establish a measure of luck.

According to this, in my case during 2022 and without keeping a record of all the results, I think I was in results above the Expected Value. However, quantifying it as a percentage does not make sense to me.
