I dont think we will be at risk of being hit by a big asteriod till around 2050
According to the article, "its closest approach to Earth will be at about 217,000 miles", so there is virtually no chance of it hitting us.

I'd say that is stupid. It doesnt matter how hard you pray. If its gonna hit us then let it be. We cannot just leave earth
Imagine a world where people all over gather in churches and at home, lighting candles and praying, bracing for impact and at the same time hoping for a miracle, while the asteroid travels toward it.

Praying, or meditating, spreads throughout the world. Meditating definitely gives you control over your reality while the instinctive behavior of fear or panic would not.
