It's quite funny how anyone can be "racist", when something like "races" don't even exist.

Finally...

Problem is that food poisoning isn't always immediate(a few hours) but can take a day or a few days and in those cases it's often blamed on "ethnic" places even if the problem was from some other place.

Where are you from? Just so that I can avoid eating at hotels in those countries  Cheesy

Hmm.... It can happen anywhere.

For example, this is from Arizona:

While, this is from Guyana (Rat dung in the Flour Bin)

Also this whole race baiting/race card thing is getting old. FOR INSTANCE if you don't agree with Obama's policies you are racist, etc, etc. I had a guy in walmart JUST the other day when I went to buy cigs pull out the race card because a woman sold cigarettes to me, when I was first in line, but the guy behind me felt like he was entitled to be first in line for them.

lol... this is seriously funny. If you are an Obama supporter, then you are entitled to be the first in the line. Cool stuff. Make this mandatory for everywhere, for example for troops in Afghanistan. Obama supporters should be sent to the Taliban hide-outs, as they are entitled to be the first in the line.

Seriously, I don't even know if he was or not, I just know that he tried to pull the old race card on me and I was like NOPE. I mean really, isn't it old yet? I live in south of all places (right now, originally from the east) and I thought oh great stereotypes, but they don't exist here, until you get people like that.

I want a first place in line myself, but I certainly don't support Obama.

Yep. Race baiting is probably just easier and cheaper than making sure your kitchen is clean and the food is thoroughly cooked.

When I graduated from culinary school I was shocked at how bad the sanitation is in your average restaurant. The Mom and Pop type of establishments are the worst. The chains are better because there are usually corporate standard procedures for sanitation.

This, I didn't graduate from culinary school but I worked in several major chain restaurants and let me tell you, they are completely unsanitary. A little side story, one time we were infested, I mean literally INFESTED with gnats in our bakery department. The manager on duty was well aware of what was going on, and did little to nothing about it. I don't know if gnats cause any major illness but who wants to look at that crap in a sundae or something like that?

Seriously, enough with the PC crap, I like my world black and white (no pun intended) no grey areas.

Both of them are just as bad really but it all depends on which ones you go to, this is why almost all the time now I cook for myself and handle my own food.

If you are an ethnic minority be careful. You might be racist if you get food poisoning from your own food.

I take food from less established restaurants only if no other options are available. 99% of the times when I eat out, I depend upon restaurant chains, such as McDonalds, KFC, Subway.etc. As you have mentioned, sanitation is much better in these chains.

What a healthy life you live Smiley.

But really , I wound't have expected you to trust american fast food chains and their "food" Smiley.

Food poisoning and racism are not related, this may be political correctness going out of control.
If the restaurant is causing people to be sick, something must be done about it. The government should validate the situation.

Political correctness is just an excuse used by people to escape from their own wrongdoings. In this case, the owners of ethnic restaurants are using it for their own defence. One of the best tactics right now to silence opposition.

This story is a good microcosm for a larger problem. Many groups now are being granted "protected status" to the point where these groups are not allowed to be criticized whatsoever, otherwise you are branded a racist/sexist/homophobe. These classes can do no wrong, and who are you to say so privileged white males? As a result society is making itself sick because of this artificially imposed guilt, and we just keep eating the poison rather than speaking up out of fear of being labeled a bigot. These protected classes are being used by callous 3rd parties to push forward ideals that are in the end, good for no one.

Shitty restaurants who make up excuses for poisoning their customers are a universal fact of life and are a part of all countries and all races, I can tell you I ordered a curry once and I don't know what was in it but it gave me food poisoning while some of the other people eating were fine. I ordered curry from a different place but the same type of food and it was absolutely fine and I refused to eat anything from the previous place again. The people doing this are just trying to cover for their business and are using cheap tactics to get away with this, since the government officials are clearly useless, just stop going there and eventually they'll go out of business especially if they keep getting negative reviews.

So long as the government doesn't actually do anything about these bullshit racism accusations the negative reviews will either make them do something about the problem or they'll lose their business, I do the same with McDonalds and Burger King, I know their food is shit, so I never go their at all if I can help it, I'll get a sandwich instead.
