This is huge money, really.
Realistically, You can live just in one house, drive only one car or wear only one suite at the same time.
So, in my opinion, there is no meaning to spend this money only for material things.
I will use how much I really need for my personal expenses and put in the bank, and rest of money I will use to help people in need.

1 million isn't that much, if i had just 1 million i'd probably invest the majority of it to make it as likely as possible that i can live from the ROI.
I'd probably invest it in different things that are all reasonably safe but profitable enough, so that all in all i'd have enough residual income to live a comfortable life.

I'd put myself through college, buy a good house, get a sweet little Italian Greyhound and Corgi, and use the rest to live comfortably but humbly while I write for a living.

200k of mining gear is a full time job that will cost you 100k + lost income
100k of solar panels is a waste as well
