If I were an AI robot I'd accept the coin in my sig... aiming for blockchain (AI) singularity Wink

It's a fun project... check out the dev vids in the link and geek out.

What book are you talking about? I think I've read this and was wondering a similar thing a while back but never asked it.

Any kind of currency I guess. It comes handy for localized stuff as I could save a few cycles if I don't have to deal with the exchanges, fees, etc.

I'm pretty sure that is the Digibyte robot. Lol.
See below picture...
Maybe this A.I. might be using bitcoin, but was made self aware from digibyte.  Tongue

At least that AI Robot looks all friendly and willing to accept BTC's.

Somehow I don't think this guy is willing to part with his fiat....

If I am an AI robot, I would accept any payment, fiat, crypto, or paypal. But cryptos is the only type of currency I can verify receipt almost immediately. An AI robot would prefer any currency which can buy spare parts for itself  Wink

Bitcoin isn't a bubble. It's the pin!
I too would accept BTC, as it seems to be the best choice Cheesy

I would accept BTC, because it is the strongest computing network on the planet, and the rest are cheap ripoffs.
This, Bitcoin is the most stable, secure and popular crypto currency in the world. There would be no point to use a different currency.

It might not be exactly what you are talking about, but I've heard suggestion that the Internet of Things and Bitcoin could go hand in hand. Here's a potential use case:

Your refrigerator realizes that you are out of milk, eggs, steak, and something else. It compiles a list and emails you to let you know. You approve the purchase and the refrigerator transfers bitcoin to the grocery store that then delivers those ingredients (in a self driving truck!) to you. The refrigerator handled inventory, payment, and fulfillment.

The question would better be asked as what would an AI robot want? And then what would be the easiest or most efficient way of getting what they want?

Probably more than one answer here.

Money/Currency based on brilliant Mathemathics or fiat paper pumped by corrupt, centralized banking cartels forever declining in value...Let's see.

Just going to go out on a hunch, and say the robot picks Bitcoin.   Wink

I am a big advocate of the 'singularity' described by Ray Kurzweil.  In his book he describes a future where artificial intelligence is not only part of your daily routine, but also your biology.

I have been thinking a lot about this and wonder if these new AI beings would accept traditional currencies or would only 'trust' the reliability of the blockchain.

What do you think?
