It will make you poor without proper control on your bankroll and just bet recklessly. The addicted ones will surely lead to being poor/broke. But for rich people it's very rare to see a guy that's very addictive and still rich. Only poor people strive to became rich using gambling. Clearly for rich it's just for fun to them and don't take it seriously.

So whether your rich or poor if you can avoid gambling that would be best. If not try not to gamble on daily basis, it can bring any one big loses. I would open a casino. That's my final answer.
I think this would be the wisest way of gambling your money (though investing some money into bonds would also possibly pay off) and it would be your way of seeing yourself "gamble" every time someone decides to wager a bet against the house. The best part is that now you're on the flip side, and you know that statistically you have the odds in your favor (but there's always the small, small chance that someone will potentially win all your money and leave) so you have to resort to recruiting a lot of people. Their money becomes your money.

yes! gambling is mostly enjoyable and sometimes you would never know the expenses you have made because of the much enjoyment you feel but I think you still need to control your gambling urge even if your just enjoying and you are the richest person in the planet, gambling has a tendency of getting addicted to it.
I'm totally agree with this, the fact is that gambling is very enjoying and I also think a lot of rich people are doing this because they do not know what to do else with their money to be honest.

If I were rich....I would move to Las Vegas and gamble every day. It is so much fun! See, the casinos in Vegas offer so much more than gambling. There are shows and showgirls, buffets and steak houses, rooms and sweets, drinks and eats, carnival rides and video games....drugs, alcohol, prostitutes....It has everything fun in life!
You have much fun for a few days then you'll have nothing. A lot of people got broke because of gambling and that is not far to happen to you too if you choose to live that kind of lifestyle in Vegas. Gambling everyday will bring you nothing but losses. It is good you are not rich, because you'll just be poor again after if you are.
sorry to burst your bubble but we are not living in a perfect world, most rich people especially those who are filthy rich don't care about anybody else especially not any charity or charitable work and even if they do such a thing it will be for publicity and nothing else.

Congratulations if you are rich and can control your gambling habits. Only a few people can do that. Just be careful though, your small habit can grow into an addiction and that is bad for you. Just always check yourself if you are.over spending on gambling, and if you have deep desire to gamble. It could be the start of your destruction if you continue gambling.

Well the one who's getting poor in gambling is the one that can't control his bets with it and make a huge mistake in putting in their mind set that gambling will make them rich forever or make a profit out from it, because gambling is just a fast time that one should never get serious with!
