These are the most commonly used strategies by the scammers to lure their victim. Making a title that uses "GIVEAWAYS", "FREE MONEY", and etc., are very suspicious and as much as possible, look for a proof if they are legit, but probably it is not, so report it immediately so other people will become also aware about the scams that you saw in some sites.

One of the worst crime one can commit against one's self is to be ignorant on the path you choose to walk and yet you fail to research or ask questions as you journey ahead. Your always a victim of all that crosses your path, things that could be avoided instead of experienced. Yes you can always start afresh but, if an unfavourable situation can be avoided with some caution, it's best you take caution.

I think ignorance is not the main reason why people get scam or hack because greed is the main reason why they get easily scammed that all they think is to earn money easily, which there is no such thing that earning money would be easy. Even there are scam projects that are too good to believe, they still fall into it that they don't think the consequences before they engage in scam projects or other illegal schemes.

I have friends who are currently patronizing ponzi schemes. The thing is, they know fully well that it's a scam and that, it will eventually come to an abrupt end yet they participate. These days, people just need money and don't care how it comes. That's why we will always have victims of scams. As long as people still have greed, scammers can feed on it. There are many people out there who know that this website is a scam website, but even they investing in all these websites, they think this website will be running for at least a few days in which I will make profit. Ignorance of something is very dangerous for you and other people, Like we have on social media some scammers spread a pyramiding scheme to invest with Ethereum. They are targeting those people that has no knowledge about cryptocurrency, commonly house wives with no work at these pandemic, they even approach my mother, I was surprise she is talking about Ethereum, Good thing I prevented it. Also, when in terms of investing your money don't invest right away, wait for feedback first, just like what happen on recent hack on twitter of course many people will invest because it is coming from the official account but we need to be careful more than that, good thing I was very obserbant and I wait for feedback first.
Some people do not know that they are ignorant, because they listen to other people's advice without doing on their own research, and this is the highest kind of ignorance if you are listening to many people without coming out with your own decision, you can listen to other people but you must come out with your own decision and respect whatever the outcome.

Getting scammed could be one of the ways to teach people not to get scammed again but some people can still be scammed after ones be scammed. The only best way to avoid scam is to read about scam, ways to hack wallets and also how to avoid. Knowledge and wisdom about scam is the best teacher. Like me, I have not been scammed before and I do no think I would be scammed at all just I learned a lot about scam and how to avoid which is the best in avoiding scam.

All the point you've mentioned not only applies to newbies but also to ranking members, scammers are cunning and very innovative, they always create or invest a new scheme or ways to scam people, investors bounty hunters those who are into gambling and airdrops can be a victim of scamming if they are not careful on what they dealing.

Well wrote OP, although ignorance isn't the only reason it's one of the important reasons why we get scam. Most scam cases happen due to greedy behavior and to become quick rich. The quick rich method is one of the most dangerous reasons for the scam. Wherever we see some greedy offer we jump on it without conclusions. Some scam happens due to lack of enough knowledge, to be honest, I meet with PONZI word after joining on this forum. Before that, I wasn't aware of Ponzi even I was an investor of the rev-share scam at the beginning (I wasn't into bitcoin that time). No one explained to me about this ponzi scam because of their referral commissions. So it's more important to learn from such as forum and nearest friends. Ignorance scam could happen when you know something but you get scam due to carelessness.
We also need to be thankful to those users who didn't get tired to share with us some tips about hose to prevent ourselves for getting hack or to be scammed. Almost every week we can see some new information about hacking prevention and tips posted by our concern community members. This is what makes this forum unique to the others because most of the users here our sharing their experience whether it is bad to prevent the others and whether it is good for the others to get the benefit. there are also some users who managed to translate those important topics to further warn their fellow countrymen for getting hacked or scammed. For three years of my existence in this community, I never felt unwanted because everyone seems to help each other regarding information and tips.
