Reading you case, i will still not trust mercatox even though your case was resolved. A good exchange will usually resolve the issues then and there and would not delay and frustrate their users.

I would say that you were lucky that you got your funds withdrawn from mercatox. Since this issue is now resolved, you may lock this thread.

After reporting mercatox on reddit, github, twitter, facebook, google, police station, coinmarketcap, etc from the 6th to the 26th of December, my issue was resolved.
Note that I had to report it in all media to get a response at the height. They haven't fixed the doge transfer yet, it might even be true that they are fixing it.
I will not stop looking at people trapped in mercatox who were not the fight for what is theirs as I was, there are thousands of dollars stopped in mercatox with the deposit available.

The solution to the problem was strange. Hanna made an appointment with me so that on the 27th at 4 pm I would be online for her to make the transfer. At no time was the doge available for withdrawal, and yes it was done by them.

I also cannot help noticing that many messages I received from support were lies (as it seems to me), as there was no response from any department, not finance, authority or superior. Who appears there in the comment is a normal attendant. That is, does mercatox not have weak employees? I noticed this because Josh and Hanna were the ones who solved it, Murry seemed to try and the others didn't even care and sent automatic messages.

Reading what people say about mercatox, those who criticize say that they are taking advantage of people, keeping their money there without the right to withdraw. Those who defend her say she is very lazy.

My recommendation is not to put doge in mercatox until everything is resolved (they don't want to take the deposit). You told me about these related brokerages, I would say that it could be true.. I would also like to include there an old brokerage that broke bitflip and bitexbook, they are all Russian. Bitflip after suffering a hacker attack sold itself to bitexbook. I've already talked to bitflip's support about slow transfers in the past and I remember that they had the same way as mercatox. They can all be of the same coin. The guy who answered at bitflip is called dmitry.

This is an idea used by scams and shady exchanges because they ought to have notified all their users before they block the withdrawal of Dogecoin on their platform. I am sorry for what happened to you and I hope you get your fund back but if you must use an exchange make sure you use a reputable exchange, not those that will treat you like sh*t while they are making money through your confiscated fund.

You can give them the benefit of doubt since there's no other way for you to get the coin. I did some research and I see that they have a personal child board here. You give it a try maybe it will help.

Sending an email to an exchange with shitty reputation is useless. Just file a lawsuit if you can afford or just move on since your case is already too long to be considered as high priority to this shitty exchange if they really are working on it. Your assumption that this exchange doesn’t have a department dealing on your case might be true since your case will not take that longer if they really addressing the issue.

This story of yours can help newbie to avoid that shitty exchange but you should not expecting that your funds will be back by just waiting em.

They are a serial scammer and I read somewhere that mercatox has a connection with Crex24, I can't remember where I read it.
Anyway, ever since DOGE has a surge, many exchanges had committed fraud including the top exchanges. I don't think you will get anything anytime soon.

I don't know if the email you sent worked, did they say anything? They said they will pass my proposal on to the higher department. I believe that these departments don't even exist, honestly, I think it's the creator or creators of the site responding, because when I asked to pass my proposal to the finance department, they denied it.

Sometime in 2019 they fixed it, some people said so and I saw some videos showing it. The problem started again in 2020.
Have you been harmed by these sites? If so, you should report to the police what google is doing. I think it also depends on how many people make these complaints to google.

This happens when there is a price difference between the coins on the exchange and the real market price. Trusted exchanges close the deposit and withdrawal as well, but in such cases in weak exchanges there is certainly bad faith when they leave the deposit open and close the withdrawal. This is a kind of trap. !!!

I used mercatox.com years ago to deposit some ICO's because it was only listed on this exchange, it was good in the past but now I don't know about it, but the exchange certainly has many problems especially the lack of liquidity and support.

I'm afraid you have no other solution but to be patient and contact support, it is possible that you will get some compensation.

I read through some posts on Reddit and apparently this problem has been dragging on for long, Probably started somewhere in 2018-2019. They keep promising people that they will work on the technical issue, but it's shocking that to this date, they have never done anything or even shown any progress.

If an exchange can have a technical issue dragging on for 4 years, and it's involving people's money, then maybe they shouldn't be in business

Sorry to give you the bad news, Google is pretty messed up. I remember I have ever reported real scam sites and nothing was ever done.

How long have you had this problem? Already solved? I don't know about you, but after all this is over or the 1st day arrives, I'm going to file a lawsuit with google asking for the withdrawal of these sites from their searches, as it is unacceptable that you can put money in and not withdraw it. Clearly they set these traps to deceive people.

I went to put my money in the hands of these guys in 2017 or 2018 and I left it there. At the time there were no complaints and it was one of the only bags that accepted nano, today I see that they are a disgrace..

1:1 would be fair to ask but then even this will likely not be granted to you. What are you doing to that exchanges by the way? These are the scam exchanges long before 2020 so this should have been avoided if you have read some accusations of these exchanges. They were known only back in the time of ICO and after that, they were not used by people.

This issue has similarity with Hitbtc since they have problem too on Dogecoin but in there case was you can’t withdraw Doge that you purchase inside the exchange since there doge rate is different to the global market price. They are luring user to purchase DOGE that can’t be withdrawn and trap in the exchange alone. The same case took a lot of time or even now it’s still not resolved.

Mercatox is a mediocre exchange so expect a lengthy process just to fixed your issue. You are still lucky that there support is still answering. Try to use twitter to publish your story and tag them. This might help you to speed up recovering your asset.

I already did that, I demanded a position from the financial department. I said I would accept 0.5 btc on the 11th which was the market value of doge. The guy told me to sell on the website, however that is not possible, as selling at market value is blocked. I informed the impossibility and he informed me to wait for the maintenance..
