then why do you guys have a loan fourm?

if you read the lending section, there were many scams, and immediately coming out of newbie section and asking for a loan is suspicious.

but i am sure someone will accommodate your request if you provide the appropriate documents/info.

what helps is that you stick around in the forum, no point in just signing up in this forum just to get a loan. increase your posts, buy and sell some stuff then ask for loan, it helps this way.

i'd rather support the bitcoin market.
>new user
>appears out of the blue from the newbie forum
>apparently has stable job, but still wants a very high interest loan for his "mining rigs", which turned into BFL singles.
>doing it to "support the bitcoin market"

seems legit

my payback schedule is that i have a job and can payback in a month. i wanted to just get an order in as early as i could.
so is there a reason why you can't get a loan from your local bank/credit union/payday loan/credit card? the interest rates charged here are usually very high (5%-10%, 1 month, for a trusted member), so if you really do have collateral + stable job, you're better off with conventional lending places. even 30% APR credit cards have lower rates than what's offered here.
Credit card rates are relatively low (often free [less merchant fees] if you pay it off before the end of the month). One-month rate on a Payday can be upwards of 200% equivalent-APR. Car title loans can be even more expensive. Credit cards for those without fantastic credit history tend to have low max limits. Bitcoin loans are fairly competitive with the market.

I think your missing the overall point here.

What people are looking for, even for a newb, is at least some research on your part. Rather than just saying, I want a mining rig.

e.g.

I want to buy 2 BFL Mining Rigs that will generate 1.6 GH/s for a BTC income of 0.8 BTC per day estimating the current PPS rate at Deepbit.

And then the schedule of repayment over time, subsidized or not with your income.

Without the basics being done on your part, you are representing yourself poorly. It's like me saying, I want to open up a McDonald's Franchise. Someone loan me 5 Million. I'll look up how to run it later.

BTW. If you can offer your Car as security, hence you own it outright, it might be cheaper to use a Title Loan shop rather than pay the interest here. But, someone might take you up on it.

and i've done nothing but say , i can provide all three with a car as security. not that i'm really want to deal with people calling me a scammer.

You are the first person to mention scammer.

Yeah everyone else just implied it.

my payback schedule is that i have a job and can payback in a month. i wanted to just get an order in as early as i could.

May as well save the money up and buy then by that time perhaps them clowns at BFL will have an actual shipping schedule worked out that gets people their goods in a timely manner.

honestly it was for two butterfly singles if you're curious.

Earlier you said mining rig. Do you have a base computer to connect your BFL's to?

Also, you mentioned you have a car for collatoral, what kind of car is that?

My point is if your asking for a loan, tell us everything you can. If your buying mining equipment, tell us what equipment you have, what your buying, your electricity rates. If you have a car for collatoral, tell us all about that, what car is it and what year. If you have references & a job, mention that too. Don't ask for a loan and expect us to drag the info out of you. your best bet to score a loan is to give us all the information you can, nobody is going to fire you all of the $1,500, your much more likelier to get the loan by lenders going splitsies.

I'm not going to lend you anything because of your lack of reputation, but I'm just letting you know how people are supposed to acquire loans and doing it this way will greatly increase your chances of receiving a loan.

[...]  honestly it was for two butterfly singles if you're curious.
Cost of two BFL singles: $1198.00
Your request: $1425

 Huh

also, you might want to know that BFL singles take a long time to arrive, so take that into consideration when it comes to your payback schedule.

Hmm, I wonder, should I lend $1,500 to somebody I don't know and will never meet, who has joined the forum a week ago and has little posts, no reputation and no valid reason for requesting said loan and wants the loan paid to them using a quasi-anonymous & quasi-untraceable currency.

I'd have much better odds of getting my money back if I put it on a roulette table.

mining rig

Even though its very apparent you don't plan to pay this money back (in my opinion), you should at least tell us what hardware you plan to buy, how much you sourced it for, what your KWH is, how much you expect to net from mining and how long you want to borrow the money for. Also if difficulty increases, how you plan to pay us back when mining becomes unprofitable.

Did you really expect somebody to just fire $1500 your way because you said those 2 words? We may have been very lenient to who we lended money to before, but were not complete idiots. Your not very good at this.

that sounds like someone calling me a scammer.  honestly it was for two butterfly singles if you're curious.
