if i'm going to be talked to like that i have no problem withdrawing my request.  i feel like your coming off like kind of a dick. did you even have the coinage to backup saying that.

I wouldn't put in the full 300, but I would consider going in with other people if you had more reputation, a solid plan to pay back the money, valid government ID, references, possibly collateral as well.

You came to the forum and basically said "hello, you don't know me but I'd like a $1,500 loan". It helps to mention why you want the loan, how/when your going to pay it back etc etc. Would you ask a passer-by on the street for a lend of $1,500?

I'd have much better odds of getting my money back if I put it on a roulette table.
Seems like a good time to advertise WGSE

Like what Kluge said, you'll most definitely need to provide collateral and/or government identification and/or proof of income. if you can't provide any of those, you're just wasting everyone's time.

Hmm, I wonder, should I lend $1,500 to somebody I don't know and will never meet, who has joined the forum a week ago and has little posts, no reputation and no valid reason for requesting said loan and wants the loan paid to them using a quasi-anonymous & quasi-untraceable currency.

I'd have much better odds of getting my money back if I put it on a roulette table.

mining rig

Even though its very apparent you don't plan to pay this money back (in my opinion), you should at least tell us what hardware you plan to buy, how much you sourced it for, what your KWH is, how much you expect to net from mining and how long you want to borrow the money for. Also if difficulty increases, how you plan to pay us back when mining becomes unprofitable.

Did you really expect somebody to just fire $1500 your way because you said those 2 words? We may have been very lenient to who we lended money to before, but were not complete idiots. Your not very good at this.

IBM does not lend to anyone who does not know how to correctly spell the first person personal pronoun, sorry.  Good luck!

i can come up with references, i work and can pay it back. i'm thinking of a mining rig
so it's essentially an investment opportunity with a newbie. very risky, no benefits over mining companies.

and you still haven't explained why you want the loan

Are you sure you can't get the loan through from sources other than this forum, like family members or friends?

One week member looking for ~$1500.  Sounds legit to me.  Some idiot here will probably loan you the BTC with no references whatsoever.

My main question is always how are you going to get/make the BTC to pay back the loan with interest?

new to the site and i'm looking for a large loan or multiple medium loans totaling around 300 bitcoins. i know being new to the site that might have some trouble with that amount. any advise for me?

For what purpose do you need 300 bicoins?
Can you provide your ID and family references?
Do you have a car that you can secure the loan with?

It's unreasonable to expect a loan without either 1) long, consistent reputation on this forum 2) a well-explained, viable idea you want to implement which will allow you to repay the loan, or 3) lots of information on you in meatspace (pay stubs, gov't ID, utility bill, security might be required) which shows you have income to repay the loan. Miners can also receive payday loans, and the app to handle that semi-automatically and very efficiently is nearing completion.

If you have #1, there is usually no need for #2 or #3 (though having #2 certainly helps). Without #1, you'll need both #2 & #3, and even then it may prove tough to secure a loan.
