What will really help you in your journey of bitcoin is if you can develop the habit of do your own research, it will help you in your investment to do right things by investing what you can afford  to lose and never to depend on bitcoin investment as a source of income,  it will also help to know which wallet is safe for hodling bitcoin.  Investors who normally have a successful investment in bitcoin only achieve good profit from the knowledge they have acquired from the research they have made. It is from good research that investors know more about bitcoin which this knowledge prevent from falling into scam strategies. You can only be knowledgeable about bitcoin from time spent on research.

You need to be patient to learn because the Bitcoin space is very versatile. Many newbies are not teachable that is why they end up not achieving their aim to learn. So you need to be willing to learn from any member in the forum that is giving out the right information. Feel free to asked questions about anything about Bitcoin and you will receive quality answers. You shouldn't also depend on only this forum for information, learn the skill of researching. Don't create threads to teach what you don't have knowledge about. Before you respond in a thread ensure you have read and understand the topic and responses before posting your own to avoid writing off point. Interact in the forum in a respectful manner and never try to engage on criminal activities. If you are helpful to the community, you will gain the respect and trust of members.

While he's being patient on learning about how the forum works, he can also get himself busy cruising with the @Ratimov beginners and help encyclopedia https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/--5364418 there are alot to discover about this thread because it comprises alot of useful materials and a general overview of bitcointalk community selected topics years back, it all covers the forum, bitcoin, altcoins, blockchain and other useful cryptocurrency resources needed to start with as a newbie, he should take time reading and learning before posting.

You are welcome, and it is nice to have you here with us. The first thing I always advise newbies to do is know the rules and regulations of the forum, and that will be a great guide for the newbie because someone cannot stay long here if they try to do anything silly that is against the forum rules and regulations. With that, I will advise you to read the rules of the forum well and abide by them before taking any further steps to learn other things in the forum. It will be nice for me to provide you with some links that will guide you about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general, as you said, but now the links I may  give you are what other members have provided you with, so I don't think I need to do that again. What I will say now is for you to go through those links provided for you one after the other and take your time to understand every part of them. Please don't rush when you are going through those materials, because rushing to learn may make you lose some important steps in learning about Bitcoin. And in the process of learning, you may come across something that you do not understand properly. Please don't ask questions; nobody knows. We are here to assist one another in one of two ways.

Welcome to the forum, friend. This is the perfect place for you to learn everything there is to know about cryptocurrencies, particularly bitcoin. I don't have much to say because, even if I did, a lot of other people have already clarified it for you, but as a newbie, I would like to advise you not to assume that visiting this forum will make you wealthy quickly. The reason I'm stating this is because a lot of individuals join this forum based on the news that they have heard about bitcoin, which promises profits and large returns on investments; nevertheless, sometimes it is necessary to learn a lot about bitcoin before making an investment.

One of the best investments I have ever seen is using bitcoin, but you have to learn more about it before you invest. numerous successful bitcoin users today have experienced numerous hardships and risks before reaching their current level of success. Furthermore, this forum isn't just for you to watch people and learn; you can also contribute what you know or hear about bitcoin from outside sources to start a conversation that will encourage everyone to join in. After all, sharing problems solves problems, so the more you share your problems or the questions you pose on this forum, the more people will be able to assist you.

Congratulations, good luck on your journey into the cryptocurrency world and may you be able to learn about Bitcoin in the future. Many members have already given you guide lines for Bitcoin and various rules to follow, you must follow them. If you come to get good knowledge about Bitcoin and crypto trading, investing then I say you have come to the right place. If you want to know and learn about Bitcoin, first of all you have to spend a lot of time then only you can know the positive and negative aspects of Bitcoin. I would also suggest you as you are a new member to go to your country board and seek advice from senior members, however that would be best for you.

What is fascinating to me is that someone manages to respond to someone's post in less than 1 minute, so even though the post has been edited, I don't believe that @Cantsay types so fast. In addition, it is not at all suspicious that he gets 3 merits from a newbie :

Well I really don't see why this had to be an issue here mate. If I'm not mistaken, I was once queried by someone about me replying a newbies post at about 2 minutes and I taught I've seen it all.

And look Copyleaks flag your content as AI-generated with very fast response by Hatchy(for 2 minutes).

Many of us use the Telegram bot that notifies us immediately after a post is created. So, for someone who's online and close to their phone, they can quickly reply within 1-2 minutes, even if it's not the complete response, and later edit it to match the thread's requirements.

I see only two possible options:

1. You have already prepared posts on the questions asked by beginners and you want to be the one to answer first and thus increase your chances of getting merits.

2. You create new accounts yourself, ask questions and give answers, and then with your alt accounts you merit yourself.

1. This seems to be true for many Bitcointalk members. If you observe closely, those who provide valuable insights at the beginning of a new discussion have a better chance of earning merits. Posts like "I'm new here," "New here," or "Newbie needs help" are more common in the Beginners and Help board. So, for someone who's consistently active and noticed, they might have already prepared a draft with similar points. Then, when the next post like that appears, they can use these points and add more. Everyone here wants merits because they bring joy and show that we've made a valuable contribution to the discussion.

2. If you're correct, it means that all these similar threads were made by other members trying to get merits. I looked at the merit history of @Turn it off, and I couldn't find anything related to @cantsay. But if these accusations are true, it wouldn't be good for someone with his rank on Bitcointalk.

I guess I should acknowledge the fact that everything you said in your reply is a possibility and it’s not impossible to happen but I’ll try to show you a few reasons as to I wouldn’t wast my time, bookmarking or constructing a post and keep somewhere until when needed.

No matter how you look at it, 44 seconds from when the post was published until your reply is perhaps enough to make a copy/paste of a post that you have already prepared - but in any case the matter looks suspicious, and even more so if we add the merits you received (and which you didn't comment).

I have read your replies in other threads here in the beginners & help section, which means you should be aware at the rate at which “I’m new to the forum”, “help me learn”, “welcome me to the forum” type of threads are being created and if one continues to reply the same type of thread there’s a high possibility of you to remember most of the things you used in your previous thread even if it’s not exactly the same, since all you’re doing in the thread is to present; forum rules, some beginner friendly links to help educate them about bitcoin” there’s nothing technical here and it’s very possible that I have some of the links bookmarked already (since I still visit them especially the beginner’s encyclopedia) the rest that were not bookmarked I’ll either use “search” or “old replies to get them”

I know this won’t be of any help here but here’s a draft on how the post were created, if it was an already drafted post it would have been two or possibly one draft space.

Quote
1. You have already prepared posts on the questions asked by beginners and you want to be the one to answer first and thus increase your chances of getting merits.

The reason why I’m always active to reply to some posts is actually related to this reason (excluding the already prepared post part), When I reply to posts early I have the notion that I’ll be read by many users and I won’t just be paraphrasing the replies of more than 50 members (and like you said will also increase my chance of getting merits in that post, which I don’t see anything bad about) and another reason is to give exposure to the signature that I’m wearing.

Quote
2. You create new accounts yourself, ask questions and give answers, and then with your alt accounts you merit yourself.

If we’re to put this into consideration despite the time and energy that will be wasted in doing such, it would mean I have more than three alts already in this forum because of the rate these type of post are being created.

Welcome to the forum.
There are already a lot of discussions in this section about new members, you should try hard to read those discussions, I hope you can understand the answer to 50% of the questions that you have in your mind by looking at the discussion of that topic.

In the beginning it is difficult to spend time and patience in the forum so try not to drop out of the forum. As a newbie the way you have created this topic then if you don't understand any topic then you can create topic like this I believe people who know about your specific topic will definitely discuss your topic.

If you don't know the rules of the forum then first of all know the rules. And I always say in my posts that important topics are always pinned in every section which must be read by a new member.

First I was able to respond fast because I was with my device when the notification came in and also all the links I included in my posts have already been used in my previous posts so all I had to do was to “quote” that post and copy the list arrangement and paste here(since it’s just link).

If you check some other posts that I have responded to you’ll notice that my response time to that of the op is just a little difference and this only occur when I’m with my device.

For the links I included in my post. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.62938877 and there’s still just a few minutes difference.

Bitcoin world is broad and there are different sectors which you might find interesting, just fixed yourself in one of them that's considerable and comfortable for you. In the meantime, you're welcomed to the forum, there's alot to learn about the system and I hope you're 100% ready to accomplish tasks. I must issue out this warning, the system prohibits plagiarism and all tasks ought to be completed by oneself. We all have gather some experience except for newbies like you, just cope to reading the terms and conditions, and abide obediently by them because there are consequences if the lines are crossed.

It's interesting to see newbies interested in learning and understanding bitcoin. The above resources is enough to  get you started, but not be enough to satisfy your need to know bitcoin. The numerous forum boards can put you ahead of your current level of bitcoin knowledge. Such that wherever, whenever bitcoin is stated. You'd have loads of valuable information to voice out to the listening ear. Remember to read the forum meta boards before engaging seriously in the forum. There you'll find unaccepted practices in the forum and its punishments. Ask questions any possible day, and also contribute to answer other people's question. Who may not have read to the extent you've gotten in the search for bitcoin knowledge. That's basically what the forum is about. For bitcoin, the knowledge is overwhelming. New ideas, techniques, rules seasonally come up. Members are expected to be consistent, if they actually want to learn bitcoin through this forum. Because they may get lost if they don't. Allocate time to learn bitcoin everyday; few hours. This include participating in sharing information. If you give it a break, it could reduce the rate you've known bitcoin. And, also, delay your journey in the forum. While you look around, I'd encourage that you maintain consistency in your fresh journey. Welcome to the forum! Good to have you around.

Hey there, Dextro1! Welcome to the BitcoinTalk forum and the world of crypto.  It is awesome to see you here. To start, like some others said, reading Satoshi's original Bitcoin whitepaper is a must to get the core ideas.  The sticky threads here also have some great basics, and browsing the Beginners & Help section has lots of guides and talks that will help.  Dont be shy to ask anything - people here love to geek out and explain things, and can learn a ton.  Have fun on the journey down the rabbit hole!

Wow, it feels good to have a newcomer who wants to learn. You are welcome to bitcoin and bitcoin talk. At the same time, I can see the link you need to read more and understand the forum (bitcoin talk), and bitcoin itself has been provided. I will just encourage and advise you to be a good researcher and a good reader.

If you read a lot, you will understand bitcoin, but when you feel lazy, you will end up being a victim of plagiarism in the forum, and your account will be banned. From there, you have already lost a lot because anything you need to know about bitcoin and other cryptocurrency can be answered here. We have high-ranking members that are intelligent enough and are ready to teach everyone, especially beginners, so I will encourage you to read well and be more serious because you can’t help someone who is not ready to learn.

Welcome to this forum, I hope you will enjoy your time here, and the advice I can give to you is too much, but the least and the easiest that I can suggest to you is to, avoid plagiarism content. And consider this forum as a library of cryptocurrency knowledge. Where there are different sections of different books, like the BTC discussion section and the technical discussion etc. You will find many earning opportunities too if you stay longer here.

But first, you have to get familiar with the trust system, and who to trust and whom to not, then get familiar with posting ethics then read more topics get more knowledge, and try to participate in discussions so that your doubts would be cleared if you have any.

Do not be afraid to make posts because, on making posts, you will learn more, even if many members will not like your reply, do not be discouraged by such comments and keep your mind up and try to be beneficial here, contribute good knowledge, and get rank.

Welcome to this forum, I hope you will find some interesting things to do here and will grow your knowledge more. I would love to share that, you should first read, if you are a newbie, read as many topics as you can, reading will give you more information about cryptocurrencies and even give you an idea of how things work here, because when someone makes a topic, he is not only supported (if right) instead opposed too (if wrong), it proofs the trust on the forum.

By reading replies under a topic, you will get to know how you can make replies and what type of replies you should give. I am not saying just take ideas from other replies and write them in your own words and post them, I am saying, you should read them and get an idea how they write it, and in what manner, like is it helping, bashing one, or opposing one. Try to understand the nature of the replies. Avoid abusive language. And try to be helpful and good to others.

I am mentioning some threads for you, if you have enough time, you should go through them.
