Dear all,
After I received hundreds of bitcoin and crypto adds on my social media I decided to join the forum to find out more about this blockchain technology. I found this forum huge and have no idea where to start. There is so much to read about. I could use some help to point me to the right direction to catch up with all this stuff here. Any help would be much appreciated.

You can actually start here, read through this thread because you can ask questions, and find answers most beginners ask for. Finding out about the basics about crypto is really important because you will just end up wasting your time if you will start investing, because most likely, newbies who don't study about crypto and invest on crypto lose a lot of money because of bad investment.

There is a guide for beginners, the beginners and help section. There are information you can find for the newbie that need to be read. You can read on the thread and ask directly from the forum when you can't find same question given in the forum. Those who are not guided well and do not understand what is being read and just try something can cause for lots of mistakes. You have to find someone that can be trusted to guide you as an educator.

I would advise you to start with reading the branch with the topic of newcomers, then the news to be in the topic and the section of alternative cryptocurrencies, which covers all the new ICO that are published. You can also find here on the forum links to interesting topics about cryptocurrencies. The main thing now is a good look at the forum.

It is important for the new investor to be patient and learn from the market. The Crypto market is never easy for us to earn, so get used to them and invest.
I would also advise developing patience in one’s nature first before laying step in the grounds of digital market. This landscape appears to be the most beautiful one from far but in reality, it has some horrifying dark valleys too that can be only survived, if the person has goo knowledge of crypto currencies. The best is to invest in bitcoin first and then keep it for some months and observe the changes of market.

You can use this list of questions to evaluate ICOs:
- Is it an asset-backed security?
Most exchanges require a securities license before they can list securities and most do not have it. Stay away from ICOs which are securities.

- Can this be replaced with a system similar to airmiles?
If the biz model can still work with a points system instead of tokens, then it’s a sign that they are just coming into cryptocurrencies to cashgrab.

- Is the blockchain required
If the infrastructure can work without a blockchain, then it’s also a signal that it is a cashgrab

- Are the team member resumes strong? - have they achieved things before, or are they still in university studying?

- Are they already in a successful business, got network and contacts to make it, see it through?

- Is there are strong business case?

- Do they have an idea which is implementable in reality? Can the concept be integrated in real life?

- Is there a monetisation model? Revenue / Cash flow?

- How easy or difficult is the entry barrier? Can it be easily copied?

- Does the model require tokenization to work?
Crypto is more about investing so I would come directly to the main questions. What are the coins that can make a person rich if invested in them and after how much time he would see some real profit? Bitcoin is the most potential coin and it can give biggest amounts of profit in very small time. But it is not a cheap asset at all. Ethereum and Litecoin are also good for investing money.

It is for sure safer to go with an airdrop than ICO. For example is Marinecoìn (-MTC-)distributing its total supply via airdrop. Check it out: marineco.ìn It is a self sustaining machine to machine system. Their Ardrop works with proof of promotion and works with artificial intelligence. The community is still quite small, but steady growing. In my opinion it could get quite big. The best thing is that you do not have to invest your money since it is completely air drop based. Its time tested as well. It had once a even bigger market cap than BTC.

It is difficult to know because you do not specify what are you going to try to do, do you want to become a trader? Do you want to become an investor? Do you want to become a miner? Depending on what you want to do we will have to recommend to you different strategies and different sources of information so it will be interesting to know what exactly you want to do.

Get ready for the smart revolution and advent of functional IoT.  Everything from common household appliances to self driving vehicles will be in constant communication with each other and the web.  They will take care of their own mantenance, operating costs, and much more.  In order for this all to be possible there will have to be high speed, flawless transactions which can’t be hacked.  Blockchains are the perfect solution to that problem but current top blockchains are too slow and expensive for IoT applications.  That is where Marînecoîn steps in.  They have developed artificial intelligence to manage the complexities of IoT applications.  To learn more visit their website and read about their current ico. Zero fees for IoT applications.  They have set up a dev-less time tested fair distribution system for the community. marîneco.în/ico

If you are new, you probably won't have a lot of quid to throw around. Fine. You would want to test the waters with some mooning altcoins, but I would suggest some ICOs to add to your portfolios. Like CoinPlace. Great ICO there, with awesome potential. It's idea is original

Before you start to do anything in this crypto, it would be better if you learn the crypto first from this forum, you can also ask questions to the seniors who are here. After that, you can follow the trading, mining, airdrops, or bounty made here. All that is your choice, you are free to choose, there is no necessity you have to follow which one. Keep trying and good luck.

Everyone can freely ask questions but make sure it is relevant to the discussion or main topic. You can start in everything which you wanted. The best is to read and earn basic to advance stuffs in crypto. Newbies fall in their trap im onvev like them having not enough knowledge and informations then jumping in a train. I've invested a lot in shitcoins from my friends that they are saying and not selling when it pumps.

MY pick for altcoin of the year is Marine.coín.  m.t.c is originated in 2013 but its tech was too advanced for its time.  We are sick of miner controlled coins and unfair distribution models.  m.t.c will be distributed freely for anyone who wants to particpate.  OVer 95 percent of the supply will be handed out by proof of promotion.  Marine.coín will have value because it is dev=less, eco-friendly, and run by jarvis the artificial intelligence program.  I had my doubts at first but this going to be the best upcoming coin of 2018.  you get 20,000 every 24 hours by doing proof of promotion till the entire supply is handed out and the community is built.
