If you sell at the low price you take the loss. If it then dropped further you could the buy and recoup some of that loss but if it then rises it is going to cost you more.
If you are too scared to trade wait and hold is the best option for you. I actively trade so I can make more money, that makes more coin accumulation at the very end. everybody have different strategies, but if you don't want to lose coins you might hold them and not care the price at all.

even though bitcoin price back down to $400 below but i'm still hold my bitcoin and i'm pretty sure it would be back to $400 above in the near future
the crash just ended above 400, the current crash is because everyone is seeing the opportunity to buy cheap again so they dump before other, and causing a chain of a secondary crash

That's right. Most of the time people see the bitcoin decreasing in value as a negative thing. I don't see it that way at all. People tend to panic so quickly that they sell everything.
It's best to hold for now and buy if you are able to.
