Even for ethereum I don't think it can match Bitcoin. even when bitcoin has experienced a significant increase ethereum has not been able to experience a good increase. so i think short term choose ethereum is good and not big risk

i'm not sure that investing in ETH is very promising thing to do, but still, you never know. i mostly prefer to look and invest into promising defi projects especiallly dex
agree with you, and i also try to invest in defi - dex projects. as for me, have a nice future, because decentralized exchanges make a great hype and growing in volumes

If you have poor knowledge of crypto investment and even you are a panicking person, you also can end with a severe loss in ETH investment. If you trust bitcoin, definitely you should trust ETH. It is a wonderful coin with lot of full potential that might surpass Bitcoin someday. Do not jump all your investments in ETH, scatter it in some coins with good potentials like XRP, LTC. Dont forget Bitcoin!

The OP posted this in Aug, and eth was about $400+ at that time, so if he invested on eth at the time of posting, he is already in positive here. And since eth 2.0 is already starting, I am expecting that it will further increase its value in the succeeding months. Even today, you can still buy some eth. As long as you will sell it at higher price than what you bought, you are good to go. Eth has a good foundation and active development team, so I think this is one of the worthwhile projects out there.
choosing invest in ethereum is a good plan choice. So it doesn't matter and you have to choose ethereum because this will make your assets safe and make you avoid the risk of loss due to no increase in the price of a token
