This is such a crazy, why do people sell homes only to buy litecoin, whereas most profitable investment is an investment house and land.

Why not if it could make a profit of up to 100-200% in a short time. but we never know what will happen with these coins. and this is really crazy. It's like doing a bet Cheesy

Looking at the video I think that he have analyzed deeply the 2 cryptocurrencies namely Bitcoin and Litecoin that's why he have come up on the decision of selling his old house to Buy Litecoin because he thinks it is as promising as the Bitcoin's future will be. Also I have to disagree with what he is saying about not putting all the eggs in one basket because of what he did is also counted as putting all the eggs in one basket because it is not diversified enough and Bitcoin and Litecoin falls to the same category "Cryptocurrencies". And for surely he is really a risk taker of the fact that one major factor that made him buy Cryptocurrency is when the government tells that they don't recognize such thing. But surely what he did paid because of believing that Litecoin will succeed as a currency.

Absolutely crazy, if someone was going to sell their house for litecoin or any coin for that matter even bitcoin then they must have a backup, there must a second house or some other money to keep that person afloat as nobody in their right mind would take such a risk.

Good LORD!! This is too much to take! I would never even think of selling my only house and investing into cryptos which is highly volatile. Any thing can happen. Doesn't mean that I don't believe in Crypto, but investing by taking such a high risk is not my game. I hope everything works out well for him if  he does take a huge position.

I remember such a story.  I think one of the guys wanted to buy a house with bitcoin. But with the rapid rise in bitcoin, the value of those who are in possession has suddenly increased. Only one house could be bought with Bitcoin value that day  But as the bitcoin value increased, the man had also taken lamborgini at the same time. Huh Roll Eyes

Either this guy is extremely rich and therefore it means nothing or he's a complete idiot.  Litecoin might well go up but if he's following a blind belief he might well end up homeless.

I'd just like to point out he said he has a high risk tolerance which leads me to believe that he wouldn't be homeless and broke if he somehow lost big on this move although I doubt he'd lose out.

I have a friend that sold a land which is worth 1.5m € for 1m, his GTR and Mercedes G class to gamble in a casino. So selling a house to invest in a coin is not that bad idea (unless your house is the only thing you have)

Everything is uncertain with the virtual currency network. When it comes to litecoin the volatility experienced is quite high so sometimes Op might go homeless and if lucky the pumping in price get him a house with a name board as Litecoin House after selling his own house.

Moves like this are actually the same as gambling. If you put all your eggs in one basket you can score big yes, but if it drops you are bleeding money you actually need.

I think it was quite clear 3-4 usd range was the lowest litecoin was going to go, so thinking about going big into it at that point is not that strange though.

I cant believe someone will consider a decision to sell house to buy Litecoin. If he really decided to sell a house this is really a risks in your entire life. Not sure if your investments will earn double or triple the amount. Good thing, he hasnt sell yet.

What kind of a reckless decision is this?

If he sells his house, where is he gonna live?

to pay rent?  In a van down by the river?   Under the underpass?

Ya gotta live somewhere....

EDIT:  so he hasn't bought his litecoin because he hasn't sold his house yet -
according to a recent video.

This is pretty amazing. This guy somehow nailed it and is now 200% up at least. He somehow saw how the simplicity of Litecoin would be it's killer app. Im not sure if he is aware of segwit and he predicted how segwit would fail for Bitcoin and Litecoin had higher chances at getting it activated and moving a lot of capital there, but in any case, this man went all in and he's now making some killer gains.

Good decision on his part,he must have analyze the current situation, that is why he takes the risk,we can call him a risk taker for doing that and ne manage to make a profit out of it,hope he can build or buy a new house now that he doubled his investment.

This is the silliest thing I've seen all day. If he owns a house, he must have decent credit. He could just take out a loan if he was that serious, plus there's no way he could possibly sell his house fast enough to keep up with the market lol. Silly rabbit, bits are for kids!

That's really bad idea, I mean. Why he is so confident to buy Litecoin? (this is altcoin right, may the price is dump and result to lose).
Let's hope that guy and that women have a preparation and at least a plan before sell their house.
