In some way it is positive but I think in most children it cause negative effect, before when I was a little when we have no gadgets we are playing outside our house, playing outside will make us healthy unlike playing gadgets, more children wearing eye glasses in an early age. But in adults I think it is very useful. Useful to communicate even if in a long distance we can have, we can also earn just like what we can have and we can earn bitcoin

When I'm watching Game of Thrones sometimes I think about what it would like to live during those times.

I love all the convenience and entertainment that technology and the Internet bring me, but life is definitely more complex because of it.

It's ok if you use it wisely, but it's taking off people's time and personal space so easily that you might know even notice until you start getting headaches, anxiety problems and troubles sleeping

Technology is develop with good intentions.but some used it for their own advantage..but for me it is very useful thanks to new technology life is more easier..

It's very useful in a positive way but most of us don't really care and became more lazy. It's frequently use for entertainment like hurting and shaming people or watching sexual contents and rarely used on learning purposes to enrich our knowledge.

how the technology and gadgets are affecting the mind and health of people. is it in more negative way or is it in positive way??

Technology and gadgets are tools considered important part for helping people more effective, efficient on their productivity, so basically this is good. but if it comes to mind and health we should dig it more empirically, on my perspective people should have a line or some self regulation like how or when or what they using the gadgets for, because this is really can impact people on both mind and health. is it more negative or is it positive? that a 90% depend by users.

If a person does not use the Internet for development or work, this is negative.

The Internet and technology have helped us connect us to the modern world.

Nowadays, we are almost dependent to technology and internet as well. Easier production, communication, travel and other transactions. But there are also some negative effects especially to our planet. We are now suffering pollution in many aspects.Polution on the air, land, water and others, like the young mind of our children due to easy access on internet.

Technology impacts the environment, people and the society as a whole. It is impossible to explore how each new advanced technology has impacted our lives and how it will impact the future. The way we uses technology determines if its impacts are positive to the society or negative. We depend on technology in our daily lives and our needs and demands for technology keep on rising. Humans use technology to travel, to communicate, to learn, to do business and to live in comfort. Technology by its self is not harmful to the society, But the way how  we uses technology to achieve specific goals is what results into negative impacts of technology on the society. This is the price we have to pay living in this modern era.

There are a lot of positive and negative impacts of the internet and technology throughout
the years. It made our lives easier, faster and more convenient the most. With the advancement
and innovation of technology, new solutions and systems influence how we function, live, work, communicate
and further develop new technologies for the future. The negative part is the exploitation and misuse of these new
technologies for personal reasons. It's an unavoidable scenario, it's human nature I guess. Time will tell, just as history has taught us.

Technology rules the world, especially in today's realities, where technology is so rapidly spreading, and new ones are replaced by even newer ones, and old ones are gone,as are people who are accustomed to old things, and are not ready to change how they die as dinosaurs,as they live in the past and there remain

The effect of technology and the internet are very obvious. Life is now more convenient especially in terms of communication and data gathering and research. We are now able to talk to people around the globe and almost all information are readily available as long as you have an internet connection.

technology of the Information Age, and with the explosion of wireless communication in the early twenty-first century, we can say that humankind is now almost entirely connected, albeit with great levels of inequality in bandwidth, efficiency, and price.

People, companies, and institutions feel the depth of this technological change, but the speed and scope of the transformation has triggered all manner of utopian and dystopian perceptions that, when examined closely through methodologically rigorous empirical research, turn out not to be accurate. For instance, media often report that intense use of the Internet increases the risk of isolation, alienation, and withdrawal from society, but available evidence shows that the Internet neither isolates people nor reduces their sociability; it actually increases sociability, civic engagement, and the intensity of family and friendship relationships, in all cultures.

Our current “network society” is a product of the digital revolution and some major sociocultural changes. One of these is the rise of the “Me-centered society,” marked by an increased focus on individual growth and a decline in community understood in terms of space, work, family, and ascription in general. But individuation does not mean isolation, or the end of community. Instead, social relationships are being reconstructed on the basis of individual interests, values, and projects. Community is formed through individuals’ quests for like-minded people in a process that combines online interaction with offline interaction, cyberspace, and the local space.

Globally, time spent on social networking sites surpassed time spent on e-mail in November 2007, and the number of social networking users surpassed the number of e-mail users in July 2009. Today, social networking sites are the preferred platforms for all kinds of activities, both business and personal, and sociability has dramatically increased — but it is a different kind of sociability. Most Facebook users visit the site daily, and they connect on multiple dimensions, but only on the dimensions they choose. The virtual life is becoming more social than the physical life, but it is less a virtual reality than a real virtuality, facilitating real-life work and urban living.

Because people are increasingly at ease in the Web’s multidimensionality, marketers, government, and civil society are migrating massively to the networks people construct by themselves and for themselves. At root, social-networking entrepreneurs are really selling spaces in which people can freely and autonomously construct their lives. Sites that attempt to impede free communication are soon abandoned by many users in favor of friendlier and less restricted spaces.

Perhaps the most telling expression of this new freedom is the Internet’s transformation of sociopolitical practices. Messages no longer flow solely from the few to the many, with little interactivity. Now, messages also flow from the many to the many, multimodally and interactively. By disintermediating government and corporate control of communication, horizontal communication networks have created a new landscape of social and political change.

Networked social movements have been particularly active since 2010, notably in the Arab revolutions against dictatorships and the protests against the management of the financial crisis. Online and particularly wireless communication has helped social movements pose more of a challenge to state power.

The Internet and the Web constitute the technological infrastructure of the global network society, and the understanding of their logic is a key field of research. It is only scholarly research that will enable us to cut through the myths surrounding this digital communication technology that is already a second skin for young people, yet continues to feed the fears and the fantasies of those who are still in charge of a society that they barely understand
