Double checking is definitely the most important thing to do to avoid such mistakes. This kind error is one of the most common mistakes people make while inputting figures.

This is the fatal disadvantage of playing with mobile phones/touch screens. Did you try to find out how your 0.00008192 bet turned to 1.00008192? If your total bankrolls was 1.00008192 then you might have touched the "max" button. I guess that was the case from your random bet amount. Because, editing the bet amount requires 2 or more touch-input and that should need to happen exactly at the first figure of bet-amount. I doubt about that. Haven't experienced such a loss, but same time there'll be someone who have got lucky to spend unknowingly and win big. If Op has won big out of this mistaken spending then this could've made it a big day. Same as people experience bad luck out of mistake, there might be someone around who could've experienced good luck out of the same mistake. I believe even this to be of bad luck.

It's a newbie mistake but every now and then some people still fall for it. There are cases in which bets are doubled unbeknownst to the user especially if they clicked the "2x bet on loss" function. This still happens even though it's very clear what will happen if someone clicked on that. This doesn't seem to be similar in your case, although you still might have clicked on adding 1 whole ETH (does this function exist on your platform?) without you knowing consciously since you're in the heat of the moment.
I wouldn't call it a newbie mistakes, and I'm sure every roulette player has experience this.
About two months ago I also made the same mistakes, I was in a hurry because of the timer and accidentally click 2x on a number, I was f***ing screaming and the excitement grew as the ball was slowly jumping and eventually fall on the bet.
