First of all, this is a total ban on its circulation, initiated by the governments of different countries.

The digital currency - bitcoin does not have any so-called fair value, price scale, intrinsic value and so on. The collapse of bitcoin will depend on demand - supply.

Bitcoin will not going to die specially people and those big companies are now thinking to enter blockchain technology. I don't think we can stop Bitcoin in growing. Except when the government decides to ban using Bitcoin but I doubt they will do that. There's a small chance that they will. Bitcoin is now very popular.

One thing is for sure it could be loose if internet thats the main, but it is very much impossible! Even when it will have a black out but it is still comes back.,so how could it be? Many coins in their wallets can be lost too if that will happen.

How and why would the end of bitcoin (and any other cryptocurrency) occur? Value decrease? Legality issues? Different technology/ideas to supersede it?
bitcoin or other cryptocurrency will not die as long as the internet and technology are still there and growing. maybe even bitcoin will grow as well as two things that. so for your question actually already answered by itself, bitcoin will die if internet and technology die too, at least that's my thinking that maybe all the members in this forum think like that anyway

Due to the very sharp and torn growth and very high volatility of bitcoins, it is rather difficult to make predictions about its future. But a collapse can happen at any time and in dozens of times.

The only situation I can think of is if quantum computers are able to break the bitcoin encryption algorithm. You can only expect chaos than. Other than that there are forks so even if miners become evil and start harming bitcoin than it can be forked and taken back from them.

When the era of quantum computers will come, blockchain is only a transitional level to more advanced technologies.

Bitcoin is a new financial system that is replacing the existing one, and therefore the bitcoin economy will have some stable state. I think that in the near future bitcoin will not die.

Bitcoin will not die on the itinerary becoming a payment method worldwide. That is their purpose to create bitcoin. And it continues on that path. Until that is achieved. Bitcoin will not fall apart by anything that affects it.

one thing's for sure, no demand to use cryptocurrency which is not possible
When there will be no demand for crypto currency, bitcoin will die. But it is quite impossible since bitcoin is in the rise day by day.

Bitcoin is decentralized, so it all depends on the user, if no users of course bitcoin will die, but I'm sure this will not happen any time soon, maybe after 50 years from now.

Bitcoin is too young for us to be talking about it dead, but there are some other factors that has direct effects on bitcoin such as the blockchains technology and the internet once this two aspects are directly affected then bitcoin has been defeated. But till then bitcoin will be alive and trending.

Bitcoin is growing and it is increasingly important in our lives. The demand for human about bitcoin is increasing. I think bitcoin will not die. Bitcoin only ends when there is no internet but that can not happen.

In current situation, there is a very chance that bitcoin will die. For me, if will not die as long as many people are supporting it. Many people had invested on it, many people advertsing it, bitcoin will not die. The only I think reason it will die when the government made it illegal then the bitcoin will drop.

How and why would the end of bitcoin (and any other cryptocurrency) occur? Value decrease? Legality issues? Different technology/ideas to supersede it?
I think the Internet has been shut down, so bitcoin will die. The circulation and trading of bitcoins requires the Internet. Without the Internet, people will not be able to trade bitcoin, and its value will soon become zero.
The lack of internet connection will not be the reason why Bitcoins die, even without people accessing their bitcoins, it's value is going to stay the same for all that period especially since people would not be able to sell and buy during that period.
