Bitcoin would stop only in case people sell (every people who invested) and no one will ever buy it. I don't see why this could ever happen because bitcoin is the future

Bitcoin is a trusted name in online market. There is no chance to die bitcoin i think. Its increase it price day by day. Some time its down its price but they manage it in a very short time. There is one chance to die bitcoin that if any government banned it.

How and why would the end of bitcoin (and any other cryptocurrency) occur? Value decrease? Legality issues? Different technology/ideas to supersede it?

Considering the events happening right now, the biggest threat of bitcoin and all other cryptocurrencies are the government of some countries who ban the use and transactions of bitcoin in their regulated market. This issue is not limited to those who live with the country but it also affects the overall online market since it promotes panic among cryptocurrency users across the globe.

I don't think that bitcoin will ever die.may be it's price can be decreased but it is very critical to dead of bitcoin.again bitcoin can be died if there is no investor in bitcoin.but everyday bitcoin's user is increasing.as a result there is no chance to dead of bitcoin.

Bitcoin Will be dead when nobody use of it anymore . Wnen theres no more gadgets and no more internet anymore because no more transactions to be made trough internet. But people continue of using them because of Its benefit. Developers are just keep going with their projects. The Growth of Its users is continous. Some countries is likely supporting Bitcoin,Japan great Britain and south Korea pushing to adopt Bitcoin. It Will never end in the long run.

There were already some cryptocurrencies (very small altcoins) that "died" - that means, the blockchain doesn't grow anymore because there are no users (=users with running full nodes). Example: TGCoin.

That would be the most probable scenario for a "dead Bitcoin", too. No demand, no users, no transactions. The "why" question would not be that relevant - it could be a better cryptocurrency or - a bit sci-fi - less need to use money for everyday life, or a much better technology than cryptos (e.g. a kind of artificial intelligence which manages our needs). It would not be dramatic, just boring - "the last Bitcoiner" will power off the light, most probably without anyone noticing it.

Another scenario would be a severe software bug. That could be much more dramatic, because it's very probable that there would be still people trying to use it. Although in this case if the bug can be solved, the blockchain can be started again, although there would be, for sure, a big price crash. This also already occured in some altcoins (e.g. Slimcoin).

I think Bitcoin will dead if every country decides to ban Bitcoin permanently. Then, there will be no more people using Bitcoin because they might be arrested in this condition. And bitcoin can also be dead if there are a new cryptocurrency which is more profitable, more advance and can fix most of the bug of bitcoin. In the future, there will be more cryptos qualifying these facors.

If everyone stops using it or if in some way becomes wothless, these are the two situations I think of that could make bitcoin die. But I don't know what could cause something like this, people get used to bitcoin and all benefits that it gives and demand is geting biger all the tim

I dont think that bitcoin will just one day die, imo if it was going to happen it would be a slow descent into irrelevance or into a very niche area only used by a handful of people like in the beginning.

The global electricity and energy interruptions caused by a large solar explosion can kill everything that is digital, including cryptocurrencies. Additionally, a major security bug can cause bitcoins to die.

I always think of this thing, if nothing lasts forever and so the bitcoin is, eventually it will die the price will gradually decrease. I think the reason for bitcoin's death will be the replacement of it with other coin, more flexible, more beneficial and much better than bitcoin, people will lose interest on a lower one as bitcoin will be replaced because that is the nature of people and no one can change it.

I think bitcoin will disappear or die if it is not used, Goes the users, the absence of transactions on blockchain. Or even the technology can not be used. But I think it's pretty hard considering the bitcoin is now very popular and growing well. The potential of bitcoin will continue to exist until the future.

If we invest in Bitcoin, the price of Bitcoin increases and when we stop investing in Bitcoin, the price of Bitcoin decreases. so I think when people all over the world will stop investing in Bitcoin then Bitcoin will die. But I don't think think so that it will happen ever.

The only possible reason that Bitcoin would die is if they can prove that it is a 101 % SCAM worldwide. Because as of today there are talks and discussions that Bitcoin is not accepted globally because it is a SCAM and most people behind it are only after the big money that it could get by way of getting those money thru their investors in a way that these investors couldn't even find that their investments were stolen little by little. And so, if Bitcoin will totally die we might count at least a decade before it will really happen.

I think if the bitcoin environment disappears, then bitcoin will die. Bitcoin's trading needs to depend on the Internet, so the Internet is shut down, bitcoin will die, and I can't think of other ways to make bitcoin dead.

Whatever happens to bitcoin, it will clearly be a big problem for all people. For example, if the Internet turns off, the whole world will suffer greatly, because not only bitcoin depends on it. Or it will be some kind of global natural disaster, and then the problem of cryptocurrencies will be the least to worry people.
