I think when bitcoin became worthless, when all that was originally believed in bitcoin be don't believed, when bitcoin is not used or possibly replaced, there are many things that must happen if for dropping bitcoin

I see a lot of misinformed members here babbling the same "no one uses people not interested any more bullsh*t" well get it to your heads, if bitcoin was to fail or fade away no one would've used it in the first place and the idea behind it would've never made any logical sense to anyone and no body would've known bitcoin at all.
every day bitcoin get a lot of companies, investors and new communities for bitcoin, so in my opinion it was not going to die unless satoshi really alive and back Tongue
Now that is what I call semi-moron Cheesy please explain to me the relevance between a human life and success or failure of a digital currency.

How and why would the end of bitcoin (and any other cryptocurrency) occur? Value decrease? Legality issues? Different technology/ideas to supersede it?
when all users are in the same situation, that is panic and make them sell all bitcoin they have, but for that to happen.
seems to be very difficult to happen

the only way cryptocurrencies (any of them) can die is when people stop using them. nothing else matters. cryptocurrency is a peer to peer technology and as long as there are two peers that coin lives, even if price goes down, it becomes illegal,....
in this sense you can think of it as torrents and any other p2p technology (although it is different but it is a good similarity)

IMO, the bitcoin will die only when the government bans. Because, we can hide our money as bitcoin without paying tax. This might cause total collapse in tax system and ends with lot of black money!

The only way for bitcoin to die in my opinion is by total collapse of civilization in a wold wide scale, anything less than that will allow bitcoin to continue on existing no matter what happens.

Well it most likely to happen and I don't think it will happen because bitcoin has very good foundation and its technology is one of the extraoridnary invention that ever existed ! Bitcoin will probably die if users don't use it anymore , when there is no people not even one continue to use it then bitcoin will little by little die and its value will be close to zero.
Yes,if the interest of people would be gone then bitcoin will surely die gradually because its adoption mainly gives life to it. Bitcoin is hardly to die on its current state and we saw that its still kicking and adoption is on progress in its 8years  of existences. Everything on this world do die but not for now on bitcoin.

Bitcoin will only die if there is no electricity whole world because everything about bitcoin depend on the internet while the cryptocurrency’s network of miners and nodes depend heavily on electricity. Bitcoin could survive if there were no loss of the web or a global electrical power crisis. Smiley

the one thing that i know bitcoin would be died is when there are no people is using bitcoin anymore and they abandon the ships and never care about the benefit from bitcoin. but i don't think people will pass this opportunity for not using bitcoin, because i think the value of bitcoin will be increase from time to time so there will be new people want to use bitcoin.

Bitcoin will only die if the governments of every country cooperate in an effort to shut it down or people stopped using it. Even if the governments ban it, there is the deep web where governments have no control.

Its hard to imagine that bitcoin will die. But i think bitcoin will die in situations liike bitcoin is banned around the world, bitcoin users stopped using bitcoin, no electricity, no internet,  or no miners to mine bitcoin. All of these could possibly kill bitcoin if it happens. But it will never gonna happen. You can kill bitcoin only in your imaginations.

Depending on the market, as long as there is still a loyal user and loyal bitcoin will continue to exist, we all know that there has not been a country that officially use the bitcoin as a legitimate means of payment, but because of the use of the bitcoin large then it can survive to the present.

I think when the blockchain stop moving and everyone lose their interest in Bitcoin.  That is the time Bitcoin will die.  No miner, no developers, no traders, no merchant  and no users. Meaning all the development activities, mining activites etc. stops.
No, blockchain never stop anytime. I am sure if there is a new coin the better everything of the bitcoin then bitcoin will die. now many of the coins were made for can replace bitcoin and it seems it is no longer.

I think Bitcoin could only "die" if through absurdity the majority of the countries will ban it and/or if a flaw is found in the code and can't be covered(which is as well very improbable).

Bitcoin will die if miners stop mining it.  Which is somehow impossible to happen.  But if in case miners stop mining Bitcoin, no one will process the transaction making chaos in economic scale of Bitcoin.  Then once transaction stops to confirm then users will look for alternative.  So I think life and death of Bitcoin starts with miners.

Well I think bitcoin would only die if everybody would stop using it,
As we all know it only have a value because of the stocks and demands.
True, bitcoin will die if folks stop using it. as long as there are bitcoin users it's gonna live.
