Imo, Riyan Parag did well, Ashwin and Padikkal's waste balls would have made huge difference.

you are right IPL pitches are not very bowling friendly in any of my matches. Every pitch was good enough. And the batsmen were able to play well. Delhi managed to collect only 162 runs on this pitch. And it wasn't enough to win. At least 180 plus is required on these pitches. Delhi batsmen are not playing well. However, the performance of their bowlers was quite good at the beginning of the innings. But they cannot maintain continuity. Sai Sudarshan and Miller's excellent batting saw Gujarat win easily. Gujarat Titans are now at the top of the points table after winning both the matches.

Delhi had steady run rate around 7 since start, hitting is expected in last overs, 160 target was expected.

For the 2023 season of Pakistan Super League, the average target was more than 200. Nowadays, this is the average totals that T20 teams make batting first. So far in this season of the IPL, the totals have remained much below this range. Out of the 7 completed matches, in just two occasions the teams made a total of more than 200. And in both the cases, the team batting first won the match (Rajasthan Royals against Sunrisers Hyderabad, and then Chennai Super Kings vs Lucknow Super Giants).
