I would like to congratulate Lucknow Super Giants for their outstanding victory in the most recent match. They played with amazing talent and enthusiasm and their efforts have been well worth it. It was enjoyable to observe their on field cooperation and tenacity.
Nonetheless It is regrettable that Delhi Capitals were unable to secure a victory. They both played with equal passion and tenacity but this time luck was not on their side. They should however be pleased with their performance and keep working hard to win their remaining matches.
Nevertheless the game was exciting and both sides deserve praise for their outstanding effort. We are eager to watch how the rest of the league responds to Lucknow Super Giants high bar.

It was unfortunate of course, but as you said, their performance wasn't up to the mark. They have conceded a lot of runs and their batsmen too couldn't build any partnerships. They need to work on these couple of things if they don't want to lack behind in the league round.

Warner had no support, Mitch Marsh's wicket was big, idk how good local Indian guys play but they didn't appear to have any confidence in themselves. Required rate was already 9 since start, should have started hitting hard early. Dropping Mayers's catch costed them good.

Warner was at the crease for a long time. But the way he batted, it was not enough to win. Dawid Warner's strike on the night was just 116. He collected 56 runs off 48 balls. With T20 specialist batsmen like Prithvi Shaw, Marsh, Warner and Rossouw in the squad, it was not expected to see such poor batting from Delhi. Delhi is one of the strongest teams in this year's IPL. They are quite strong in both the batting and bowling side. Even then they lost the match by 50 runs. Almost every batsman in LSG batted well. On the other hand, apart from Warner and Powell from Delhi, I have not seen any batsmen stay at the crease for long.

Umesh Yadav can bowl with some control but I don't see better performance from any other bowlers. Bowling like this, I think Punjab will collect like 210 today. If Punjab provides more than 200 targets, it will be much more difficult for Kolkata to win this match. Kolkata's lineup doesn't seem too strong either.

KKR team looks so average this time. The bowling attack is good but that also looks so average on a flat track. Batting only looks good until their openers bat and when Russel comes to bat apart from this looks like no one has any role to play. Punjab played well as well have to give them the credit atleast in the batting they batted really well.

Delhi capital lost the match against Lucknow Super Giants by 50 runs ,Good batting and balling by Lucknow Super Giants they managed to pick all important wickets on time.
Good batting by Kyle Mayers 73 runs with Strike rate of 192 .

First of all Congratulations Gujrat Titans to win First Match of IPL by 5 wickets against Chennai Super Kings. The growth of Gujarat Titans in the IPL this year has been exciting to see. The main drivers of their success have been their dependable play and on field experience. Chennai uneven play on the other hand has worried its supporters. Ruturaj received some assistance from the batting side but the team was unable to take advantage of it. Shubman Gill outstanding performnce made it easy for his team to win. It will be wonderful to see how the rest of the season plays out and whether the Gujarat Titans can keep up their lead in the points standing.
