I think his point is the average unknown user could easily catch a tag for this kind of behavior, but the Op is one of the "special" ones that the forum mall cops see fit to ignore.
Can you show example of average unknown user rickrolled someone and got tag after that?

You know damned well this is not about a rick roll and is about a false accusation Captain Semantics.
Now you think you are inside my head.

Crazy.

Either you are arguing you are mildly retarded and genuinely believe people are objecting to a rick roll, or you are just pretending to shift the subject away to another topic. Which is it?

What was funny about it? LMFAO people asked questions and took him at his word, THAT'S FUCKING HILARIOUS!

Glad we're on the same page.

It is irrelevant if the accused like it or not, it effects the entire forum.

...

Also... Rush Limbaugh is a comic? I learn more an more about the delusional caricature of me you hold in your mind every day.

I don't think he's a comic, the caricature of you in my mind does.

Edit: You know, I've done some thinking about it, and you're right. This is serious. As far as I can tell, this is the first time in the history of the forum that Lauda and minerjones have been falsely accused of anything.

Interesting, the forum is such a serious place when you have an opponent to smear, but otherwise it is just a big joke to you people unless it serves your preferred narrative. The difference between this accusation and the others is this isn't just a flimsy accusation, it is openly, intentionally, and admittedly frivolous. People have a lot invested in this place, their reputation shouldn't be your plaything children. This whole thing demonstrates the mentality many of you approach this forum with quite well.

Jesus H. It was meant to be a joke. A joke! It may not have been the funniest thing in the world but its at a level of trolling the forum is not used to. I found the reactions to it to be quite humorous.

You know damned well this is not about a rick roll and is about a false accusation Captain Semantics.

Did you just call somebody "Captain Semantics" after using the words "false accusation"?  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Quick somebody ask the 'falsely accused' if they give a flying F.

Also:

Also I am a big fan of all kinds of comedy

I find this hard to believe unless "all kinds" means everything from Dennis Miller to Rush Limbaugh.

Hey look who couldn't restrain themselves and stopped pretending to ignore me already. The fact that it was meant to be a joke is irrelevant. What was funny about it? LMFAO people asked questions and took him at his word, THAT'S FUCKING HILARIOUS! Or is the real joke that anyone bothered to take actmyname seriously at any point? You are right, we should just assume anything he says is a joke and is totally bullshit from now on.

Yeah, because that is what it was, a false accusation. Intent aside, that is EXACTLY what it was. You know damn well the objection is not the fact that there was a rick roll, the objection is that making fake accusations against members who are entrusted with large amounts of money from many users is a very stupid precedent to set, and creates a clear security risk that could delay reaction to any real reports in the future, causing people losses. It is irrelevant if the accused like it or not, it effects the entire forum.

Also... Rush Limbaugh is a comic? I learn more an more about the delusional caricature of me you hold in your mind every day. Lol fucking Rush Limbaugh. What a tool you both are.

One of my neighbors is a retired SFPD lieutenant, in his late 50's, gym rat, black belt in three martial arts, and queer as a three dollar bill.  There's no doubt in my mind anyone who underestimates that "pussy" would have his ass handed to him before he time to be surprised.

I wonder what flag they can open against me since I have not scammed anyone nor have done anything abusive
Spreading homophobia is abusive.  If you want you can go flag, flog, or fapfap yourself for that.

Fortunately, BitcoinSupremo's post about beating up gay people was either deleted by staff or he deleted it himself.

As far as I know flags are not valid for spreading homophobia or any shit you like to accuse me of, flags are valid only if money is involved and people have been scammed or did I miss something, you can enlighten me as I am not that active, I am too high from btc price going up and from my AWESOME thread which I am making money myself together with the ones who follow me so I am not that updated anymore. I just post a tip in the morning and that's it almost everyday except days like this where I have time to write and read the forum a bit more.
I want everybody to have as much btc as possible and I do not post abusive non valid feedback nor in anyway I try to obstacle anyone to make btc or crypto here like the great BULLSHIT PROPAGANDA GANG has done for I don't even know how many years now, signatures are monopolized by a few individuals and I see that their style of conditions is implemented in almost every new manager wanna be. This as always leads to more and more centralization and it will only damage the forum and bitcoin in the long run. Everyone should be allowed in signature campaigns, that is the bottom line if we want to truly have an open decentralized environment. For me you see that I don't care much about signature as long as btc price is over 10.000 , I turned on my miners and more than 30.000 EUR in btc which if I were the bad guy everybody in the BULLSHIT PROPAGANDA GANG is talking about I would have bought a gazillion accounts but no I want to show that I don't do things against the forum health while the GANG operates strictly towards their own benefit and do not give a single fuck about the forum health.

Cheers.

What merit abuse of Lauda? The OP is obviously joking. When you click on either quote, it directs you to getting Rickrolled, not to actual posts.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;u=2627094 does it ring the bell?
What "abuse?" This particular account is not Lauda's alt account. I doubt she sold it to actmyname. Also, she is not a merit source, so she can distribute her smerit how she sees fit, provided it's not an her alt or selling it. Also, if this is somehow part of an "account farm," actmyname is doing a shitty job, since he announces that it is an alt account in the trust comments.
what abuse?are u fuckin blind???not lauda's account ? yeah because its his allies' ?did you clicked the profie or not?

Joke or not the gang is real, the gang of BULLSHIT PROPAGANDA has totally infected this forum. I wonder what flag they can open against me since I have not scammed anyone nor have done anything abusive under this new "flag" term from theymos and theymos says that if someone opens up a flag without facts needs to be removed from DT ASAP and I fully agree with him.

Hey bullshit propaganda what are you up to beside giving non valid negative feedback ?

I think you're mistaking normal for humorless, they are not synonymous.  It's quite normal to have a twisted sense of humor, just look at POTUS for a perfect example.

I think his point is the average unknown user could easily catch a tag for this kind of behavior, but the Op is one of the "special" ones that the forum mall cops see fit to ignore. Also I am a big fan of all kinds of comedy, and this really wasn't funny, it was just low quality bait that resulted in nothing that entertaining. Also as I already explained it sets a very bad precedent regarding false alarms. Funny how tagging users over petty things is serious business, but things like this that create actual security risks are just a joke. It just goes to show how much some of these users actually care about the user base here, caring when it serves them and making a joke out of the place for their personal entertainment when it doesn't.

Except now, whenever someone does a forum search to see if there have been any scam accusations against Lauda or MinerJones, they'll find this thread, and have to spend however much time it requires to read through it and judge for themselves whether its a joke or not. As you can tell from some of the posts here, its not that obvious, especially to those who don't know that you can falsify quotes.

I didn't click on any links, I came here, saw the quotes, and read the first and second page of the thread. I realized it was not real when I got to The Pharmacist's post.

Well I ended up getting rickrolled in less than 5 seconds.  Cheesy   I guess the lesson for me is to always double check where a link actually points to before clicking it.

I checked links again and seems OP changed them, they are placed in this order:

http://oh
http://te
http://cs
http://ha
http://re

Looks like a code or something.

Going to have to 3rd Tec and Quickseller on this one, its not a funny joke. False accusations that are not 100% obviously a joke are bad people stuff.

Not leaving negative feedback over this, but it was annoying enough to consider it. People make mistakes with taboos in discourse communities, whether you learn that a bunch of people would be pissed off by this type of thing will decide if its a lesson learned or it becomes a problem.
What you have described sounds exactly like this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rickrolling
