Anyone know what a sealed 2018 A&G hobby box sells for nowadays? I have a few that I may wish to unload.

My guess is around 450 to 500.00  and crazy numbers for the x box.

Dolphriends estimates spot on.

OK, I’ve decided to sell these sealed hobby boxes @ $450 each or .032 BTC for all 4 boxes. Shipping included.

PM me if interested. Otherwise, they go to eBay for top dollar.

I feel your pain. I'm close to ripping open these boxes myself. The thought of pulling a Crypto Brookie, Glowie, or heck, even the simplest base mini is very tempting right now! Good luck.

I submitted 15 of the full-sized Ginter X black cards a few weeks ago, and they sat, status received but unchanged, until late last week. Now they’re in the grading phase, so I hope to have them back soon. However, I can’t help but wonder if (A) they will speed thru the grading process in order to catch up on the backlog and (B) how that speedier grading may affect the results. We’ll see soon enough.

Good luck to all the others who are waiting on graded cards.

Chris @ TBPCo.

Penny good luck to you.  Express was a good option, going value now will net you over a year wait time.  Pending how the results end up it will be a score.  I know its not popular thought here but overall I feel the card game will dip some its been very bubbly and when that "free" stimulus money spending dies down i expect these types of things like cards to slap a little.

All just in my opinion but, I was thinking of what would be in the ultimate collection of the #83 and I came up with the following

A regular common PSA 10 including a PSA 10 mini regular back and PSA 10 a&g back
A gold border and black border PSA 10
A silver glossy PSA 10
A brooklyn back PSA 10
A no # PSA 10
A glowie PSA 10
A must have to top this of is the regular or mini 1/1 glossy which only come in PSA 9. none higher

From the x-box a regular PSA 10  a mini PSA 10 and one of the red mini PSA 9, none higher
The silver mini would be the ultimate but, isn't around.

Any 5x7 PSA 10's or blank backs would add some nice touches to the collection.

This is the ultimate collection without the printing plates.

There are beautiful packs you can add like the 3-card #83 cello pack and PSA 10 regular and X packs.

The dolphin just thinking out loud Cool Cool

They were sent as Express, I think, back in mid-February. With luck, they'll be graded, slabbed, and returned sometime late next week.

Hi Chris

At what service level did you submit these cards?

I hear it will be July. This price increase will certainly deter all the little guys and people wanting their cards graded on the cheap, that's for sure.  Cry

PSA is only shutting down orders for a bit.  They had a massive hiring frenzy so lots of new employees and they over ran their local usps.  This break is just to clear some of the clog, they probably don't have enough bonded storage space for the massive amount of orders.  They are currently expanding.  Business as usual in a couple months.

Hello PSA Customers,

Since my last update, the momentum behind the hobby has only accelerated. In fact, our Collectors Universe President and CEO, Joe Orlando, recently shared the reality of the surge of submissions to PSA.

I’ll try to further illustrate what has happened. The sheer volume of orders that PSA received in early March has fundamentally changed our ability to service the hobby. The reality is that we recently received more cards in three days than we did during the previous three months. Even after the surge, submissions continue at never-before-seen levels.

Effective immediately, PSA is temporarily suspending our Value, Regular and Express service levels. This will allow us to fully unbox and receive the recent surge of orders and focus on our most impacted service lines.

O.O

Just submitted my final orders the night prior.

I think the prices will jump on ALL grades and ALL cards, even outside of crypto, once this hits the card universe

The cheapest cost to grade is 300.00 making a PSA graded card super expensive.  In the past you might consider buying an ungraded card hoping to score a 10 a save a little money but, that idea is out the window for now with PSA.  Anyone with PSA 10"s is truly sitting on a gold mine.  Won't be surprised to see prices go sky high on ebay.

I totally agree.  For those with PSA 10 cards in hand best news ever.  With base cards getting 750 now, the sky is the limit.  Ebay sellers should use promoted listings as that new money will pay top dollar with each sale providing a stepping stone for the next level.

With so much new money coming in auctions are a bit risky.  New folks likely don't know how they work and experienced members will swoop in.

Expect insane numbers next few months to a year

We should all fire PSA and start our own grading company? Who's in?

I just got this back! I would have graded it a 9 probably. Crisp corners.

PSA is literally drunk grading these. And they want an UPCHARGE too??!!

Neeeeext!

Double posr edit

I see a score of psa 2 when you go to the 2018 allen and ginter psa population.  You don't show that.

yes. that card must be beat up for sure. i started scale where it shows. took some time to get in that format.  maybe i'll just do pictures next time.

That's absolutely absurd.
