In honor of all the card collectors making this the #1 all time in replies for Bitcointalk Collectibles, (Casascius is #2 with 1100 replies), I've added a few special features to the OP in addition to some long overdue updates:

- PSA population counts for all cards
- Updated pricing info based on notable eBay sales (mostly Summer 2019)
- Retail packaging guide
- Formatting updates

Thank you kindly for updating.  Always like to see what is currently going on Smiley

Pretty rare to see one pop up not being in a set.  They know the egg will move the complete set .  Now if you are trying to get that rare psa 10 probably better to wait until one comes up already graded although be prepared for the sticker shock lol.  I had a 10 but, it went to a friend.  Most likely they will come in around psa 9.  If you look very close at the 1/5 red mini look at both of the top corners and see if you think the top left is sharper than the right.

Dolphriends you have a count of cards in the wild crypto and egg. Those with less than 25.

For the crypto X there is still the 1/5, 2/5 and 3/5 red mini and the silver mini.  There is also the regular 1/1 glossy and the wood stock

For the egg x  there is the 4/5 and 5/5 red mini and the silver mini.  Everything in the regular A&G except for the 4/25 and 5/25 brooklyn and the majenta printing plate is still out there in the wild.

Remember this is the collecting phase which is the most fun and challenging.  I enjoy opening cases while the costs are pretty reasonable but, never have much luck.

Well, it looks like the black mini is going to be tough to get the PSA 10 this year.  Three graded and scores were 8,9,10.  Will know better after 10 or 15 are graded .  Was thinking about last year and probably of the special inserts besides the crypto the rarest was the #222 solar eclipse silver mini and even the red mini.  Those are the treasures and I only saw them for a brief moment when I put them in the display box. lol.  Perhaps I will make a crypto egg box if I find the silver crypto card

Happy hunting all, have fun with all of it Cool Cool Cool

Wanted to share a few treasures with those who have an appreciation of how difficult and rare it is to get a grade of PSA 10 gem mint for the black and red mini's.  If just a tiny speck of white shows the grade gets knocked down.  They seem really busy now so I would be hesitant to send anything for grading of fear of it getting lost. It will run 500.00 per card if you want 1 day service.

Nice cards.  you must have a PSA insider to get them graded so quickly.

I hear that cards are doing better than most investments.  you may be able to retire with just those two if these go viral.

Do a walk-through if you live close 500.00 each grading and that is how to get it done in one day  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes  I am trying to collect the 5 colors of these eggs.  Yellow, red, black, silver and gold.   Lots of really cool images if you google bitcoin eggs , or crypto eggs.

The hottest investment right now is in cards, certain ones of course.

Since cards of the 2019 A&G 1/5, 2/5 and 3/5 of the red mini #213 have been found that leaves just two mini reds and one silver to be found so in my opinion the value of the boxes should remain around the 150.00 range since the #213 is the main card in my opinion.

There are plenty of rare #213's in the regular 2019 ginter boxes so I think those might be the best boxes to search.  Except for two brooklyn backs, one printing plate, and a couple of no#'s everything is still out there.  Happy treasure hunting fellow friends

If anyone finds any rare, crypto red mini, egg red mini, or silver mini's these are my two favorite non sports cards and I am definitely a buyer for them. Happy treasure hunting to all Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Funny you should mention this today. Look what I pulled, literally tonight. Not quite sure what to do about it yet. Shocked

A very nice pull, enjoy your card, you might want to put it in an ultra pro magnetic holder to keep it protected.  Smiley Smiley

I was thinking about printing plates tonight and the obstacles that stand in the way of collecting all four.  I only saw one printing plate of all the insert cards that I liked from the 2018 allen and ginter besides the 4 from the crypto #83.  The odds must have been over 10 million to one that all 4 plates would even show up.

Ten million may be a little dramatic. LOL The odds would easily and significantly increase by simply posting a WTB on the baseball card forums. Wink

Regards,
Chris

Smiley Smiley Well, I've never seen it and been at it a long time. lol  I know that it has been done on some mid range cards a few times but, never on a highly sought after card like the crypto #83.   I've been trying to find a pack of cards called crypto community cards for well over a year with no luck.  I have moved on to an egg hunt and by easter I hope my basket has some real goodies.   Have fun out there Smiley Smiley

The folks with the printing plates can run, but they can't hide. once they see other cards sell for big dollars, they might be drawn out of hiding.  Even the big consignment houses like PWCC and Probstein sell on Ebay.  Never know though.
