I'd have to agree, it's not one of my favorites either, but it is still a contender. It's definitely nice enough. I like your idea too MrStacy, you are such a "collector".  Cheesy

It is valuable enough to have protected in a graded slab and put in a safe place for sure.

What are your thoughts on the Topps vault Cryptocurrency Blank Back triple card's value? Was bought for $610, way back when. I'm thinking at least double or triple by now..... Huh Actually maybe more, it is a 1/1 card after all..... Undecided

Personally it isn't one of my favorites but, whoever got it at 610 has done quite well for themselves.  I like stand alone cards but, I would value it at 3x what they got it for like you said maybe even a little more like 2k

I have an affinity for toppsvault auctions personally.  I would frame that bad boy with Ebay auction print out

Based on this recent sale I am moving up my current opinion of values .  The ginter x red mini I would say is a good deal at 12k to 14k.  The black x mini's at the highest grade of 9 I would say around 1800 .  For the stand alone #83 blank back I would place a current value between 18k to 20k and the printing plates close behind.  Just my opinion but, time will always tell. Smiley  The treasure hunt continues for the silver mini.

Looks like someone picked up a good deal.  Who would have ever thought these cards would be received so well Smiley  Think I am going to put my original crypto card up on the block , if this card is in this price range, I'm thinking 3 BTC or about.  Maybe more, who knows.  Shocked

Just throwing it out there, I'm interested in reasonably priced metal minis for anyone holding any.

Those are really cool, never have pulled one.

Fingers crossed there is a big jump in price between a PSA 9 and a PSA 10.

For the mini black card? Don't worry. There will be! Grin

Regards,
Chris

Yup I have several mini blacks hoping one is a 10. I know the odds are against it though but just gotta get off my butt and send the cards in for grading.

If you have a handful of the ginter x mini's there is a good chance you will get a grade 10 on one of them but, if you only have one the odds are against it.  So far the mini is batting 0 for 11.  Send down to the minors.  Roll Eyes

Good eye. Wow that is why no 10s for this card.

So is it possible that all 50? were printed this way?

I just checked mine and they are centered to the eye. Granted I did not use a comparator loupe. I really do need to send them in for grading.

I think you have one of my original display cases of ginter x black mini's, hope you get a PSA 10 on the #83. Smiley

There is a good chance that a few of the ginter x mini's #83 that I first auctioned in the display cases will grade at PSA 10.  I always look at my cards under a 10X and handle with gloves and recall looking at a few gems.  Hope those auction winners get 10's Smiley

I assume nitrile or latex gloves, correct? as to me, cotton gloves would be a corner catching hazard.

I use cotton and never touch the edges otherwise you are correct the cotton can catch the edge.  Many do not use gloves and that's ok too, just make sure hands are clean and free of any oil.  I don't believe gloves are used at PSA during grading but, those are professionals and know how to handle a card carefully.

You live on the edge Dolph. I couldn't handle that stress. "dont touch an edge, dont touch an edge dont touch an edge" When the years of coin handling taught me "only touch the edge"

If I'm about to open packs or switch a card into a different holder, I simply wash and prep myself & surface like Im about to do surgery.

thanks for info!
