have seen this kind of projects ,not based on dice , but the PVP model in general
hate to disappoint you , but it won't be a hit
I don't know your coding skills but the main drawbacks of such a project :
1. high average stake time- you have to find an opponent , it takes time and on some sites I saw people praying for anyone at all to accept their bet , after a couple of days of waiting
2. provably fair implementation , difficult to prove that your opponent is not a house bot with advantage
3. low total market for this sort of games , people are used to playing vs a casino with a 1% house edge
so there won't be a que to join the game ,I'm afraid
and similar project never took off , name a single PVP casino that is popular , I dare you
all in all , a PVP game or two  on a casino can work , a 100% PVP based casino , most likely won't

This is what I asked above, the major difficulty of PVP and not just for dice, is to gain a LOT of players. Even for mobile apps when doing PvP for popular ones,,, you can wait even 1 or 2 minutes and that is the wait that is not worth for a lot people including me. Gamblers I believe have an even lower waiting willingness.

So the key is to code in where you can put the bet and go offline and leave it in some sort of smart contract, and a way to encourage people to join because you needs 100 people immediately for every game otherwise it does not work.

unfortunately , this problem has not been solved
on chain games have their own limitations vs offchain games
but again , the main problem of PVP is the waiting time between the bets
why wait when you can gamble away 2-3 bets per second on provably fair , established casinos like Bitvest or Stake?
you got to offer something really special for people to join and stay on the site , otherwise it is going to be yet another stillborn project

Sad truth that must be face while trying to established this type of business, in real world gamblers will continue supporting existing gamehouse who offers quick and easy game time, instead of trying new ideas like this they will proceed and stay where they already enjoying, if there's changes in  the way gamblers need to partake it's must be something that they can't resist to support regularly.

I have seen a different version of this game, but it is just like people putting money into a pot and then they bet on a random outcome expressed as a horse race. This is offline! The problem as pointed out is to find the people,,, and you have to be online to wait for the person to accept? Or you can make it like a smart contract and place your bet and leave it for people to find?

Looks like a very interesting project & you have a  nice concept by this concept your project can touch the success. I have some suggestion for you don't set the minimum deposit & withdraw amount high & try to make a faucet or give one time reward Lips sealed

Faucet wont be good for pvp dice game as it can be abused by creating multiple accounts to play against each other alt accounts then collect it in an account to withdraw, so one time bonus to try the game is enough. Regarding minimum deposit and withdrawal, I think using the standard that is used by most other sites is good enough. The more important thing is about the withdrawal fee which should not be too high.

The concept sounds good but it is risky as making player VS player is not true but you need for running your website and implementing the dice you should also have a gambling licence that was like Half the money of Casino. If you are planning to go without getting a licence then I will advise adding a faucet so you can show that you are not opening with Completly a gambling site.

This game is very interesting. The success of this site will depend on how many his live players will be online always for the game. It is easy to lose interest if it will take forever to have a match. The first few months of the launch will be crucial.

Well you could also add up the easiest game to play Rock-Paper-Scissors since it would be a PvP I think it is much more suitable for your site.
And how about cards you would let the 2 gamblers choose a random card and the one with the highest number win.

Those can be expansion games once he has this game up and running. I think Paper-Rock-Scissors are the best for PVP like they are already some tournaments holding this game.

Arranged to meet with partner and plan to launch website this wednesday as long as all goes to plan!

This will be a beta version of course, but you will be able to play via other players for fun and us admins will be there to host, too!

Thanks everyone for your interest, we plan to add more pvp games soon once this is launched.

Any ideas? Please post them!

Except from your discord server, do you have specific website for your pvp dice? Is it the one that's indicated on the title as btcdice.games? I've looked onto that website but there's nothing to be found.

Please join, I'll be happy to answer any questions Smiley
I know that you can answer most of the questions there but everyone has been confidently asking you in here so I think you have to answer it directly and no need to go into your discord channel, just my 1 satoshi.

Concept is interesting but please do not forget about the provably fair parts of it. If you do not deal with the trust issues on day one then it will be harder to add that later on which means your website will always be questioned about the fairness forever. That is why I am saying do it on day one so you will never face those criticisms.

Plus, there are some pvp games like hi/lo where people can bet on cards and whoever draws a bigger card will win, there are pvp games like coin toss and many more stuff, if you add these games as soon as possible instead of just being a dice pvp game thae you will get bigger too since the more games you have the more chance you have to make money as well.

Any ETA when the beta stage will be released? You said in 4-7 days, and now it is the 5th day since you created this topic but you are inactive for 3 days now. Hope everything is OK as planned.
Since this topic is created to check interest, I suggest you not to rely on the posts you read in this topic as not all of us are real gambler who want to spend our money on gambling.
Still have 2 days left for the beta and it would be better if he would able to launch the game on the said date but there might be some delays depending if there are
upgrades or design changes on the site.We would able to see on few more days if he do able to keep his words.

May be some delays, had to work on a side project that messed up..

Check the first post, provably is now implemented.

Few things like payments to do, the 2 days is a bit optimistic, I'd say 5 days realistically for a beta release with fake currency, 2 weeks for actual release with real money.

Please be patient, it will be worth the wait, and as for commission %, me and my partner have not decided yet.

an interesting concept , hope the site takes off
as for ideas , you should think of a promotion to celebrate the opening , some give away or bonus codes
this will allow you to get some initial player base
also advertising the site on crypto related networks is a good idea
oh and make sure your affiliate is working properly as the vast majority of players will come through other's affiliate links

I can't judge your website based on 2 screenshots only.Let's see how it looks when it's fully launched.
The pvp concept isn't new and there are more and more pvp gambling websites being launched everyday.
You will have to find a way to stand out from the crowd.

Interesting concept. I hope the finish product can assure players that they really are playing against a live person and not just a bot. If you guys can come up with a poker table look with house/dealer other player and the player on the screen, that would be awesome. I think other site will start scrambling to get ahead before your planned launch.

What you say is true. But who knows, even non gamblers might want to try his site once up and running. Even low rollers can give life to a new dice site. At least start the ball rolling. OP, how far are you in launching this site to the public? I hope the site will be interesting as much as you can create it.
