I was thinking of the same concerns others had of the collectibles board been inundated
with NFT threads but yea a child board specifically for NTF's is a great idea and could compliment
the collectibles one  and increase traffic.

It just goes to show there are other spaces where people are buying, selling and trading crypto
collectibles, I for one am only aware of a few of them and wasnt aware of XCP ?

I'm all for it. This guy has been making physical NFT cards for a while: https://xcer.co/

I've actually done a few myself, though I can't ship any at the moment:

Let's face it: this forum is dying. It needs all the attention it can get. Maybe a sub-board for NFTs would be a good compromise.

I am great with NFT's for physical items - I would just prefer to have the physical item - the nft can be deleted or "unhosted" and then poof it is gone.

Same problems can happen with physical items: they can get damaged, lost, or stolen. They are also subject to forgeries and scams.

Like physical items, if the NFTs are made and stored correctly they can last a long time.

Agree on the physical front. Digital NFT collectors will not only flood the forum, but the amount of theft/scams/negative activity will increase also.

physical items - yes

digital items - no

I would think the basis of anything here would be physical, though some item's may have the NFT either built in (in a QR under holo, for instance) or in an OpenDime or the like accompanying the physical item.

Thanks for your POV.

I personally believe in digital art as long as it has physical art otherwise in the long run it will just be like other crypto fads, and don't get me wrong I think there is still a long way to go with that but like all fads it will eventually go away.🦖

Definitely a thoughtful take, thanks!

Have them to make a frog deck with Cardsmiths

Else no. So many artist they will flood the forum.

Cool idea and totally agree with the latter sentiment [addendum] if the work is only digital

Hey all,

Would love your opinion on this.
I'm spending an increasing amount of time in the counterparty/XCP (bitcoin blockchain) collectible space and while there are channels and web marketplaces for artist's to sell their physical work, I think that this may also be a place given some of our past sales history and our collective community proclivity.

Several of the XCP artists I'm in touch with may be interested in listing their physical work here - an original painting, drawing or rendering of their NFT, or of other artists work that they've been gifted, bought or traded for - all XCP/BTC project based, and in my estimation, all collectible.

As my first love (and collection) is art, I'm compelled to support some of these artists here if there's a market and interest from our community.

Would love opinions and am open to suggestions as well.

Thanks.
