It's a Madrid derby at the ICC 2019, Atletico Madrid have started brilliantly with 2 goals under the first 9 minutes, A goal from Diego Costa and Atletico's new signing Joao Felix scoring on his debut.

Atletico Madrid have thrashed Real Madrid by scoring 7 goals, and in response Real Madrid have been able to score only 3 goals. It’s a new season but it seems that Madrid is playing poor football like they were playing last season, and to make matters worse for them Luka Jovic is injured. I think it’s best if Madrid re-sign Ronaldo and save themselves from further embarrassment, because if they continue playing like this not only will Zidane be sacked, but many players too will be shifted out of the club.

IIRC Joao Felix is targeted by MU, isn't it? Or is that just another media bullshit story?
Anyway, good for him scoring a goal.

Out of four match 3 were decided in penalty shout out. That's crazy. Buffon is all time legend.

Buffon is still better than lots of keepers on their 25ths. He could play till he's 50 if he's as fit as Milner as a midfield.

By the way looking at the point table, I wonder who will lead it after Atletico Madrid vs Juventus match? Arsenal and Bayem played three matches each. Arsenal is leading at the moment by goal difference.

Another occurrence of worthy note is Gareth Bale's introduction to game for the 2nd half (Could he be staying ?)
With Asensio's injury[1] which might leave him 6-8 months out of the team, there's a chance that Bale or James could stay in the team, but with Zidane you never know, he still might want those 2 out of team while Lucas Vázquez takes Asensio's place :/

About Juve vs Inter, pretty fun game, felt like a normal Serie A game with all the intensity and fouls. Stefano Sensi is really good.

Buffon won vs Inter the penalty lottery  Grin

He saved 3 and 1/2, amazing Cheesy. He is only 41, GOAT

Buffon is amazing, he’s had a wonderful career. Such a shame he never won the CL though, I couldn’t believe it when I saw that stat, I was sure he had. He has literally everything else though.

I remember watching him play for Parma when I was a young boy.

You're probably just too naive and optimistic, I wouldn't place such an high expectation on Lampard, most especially not during his maiden season in premier league.

Well for the record Lampard has won more trophy than Mauricio Pochettino, Unai Emery and Ole Gunnar Solskjær as a manager for their respective (current) clubs and guess what, he has just been a manager for only four games also the season hasn't even started. Never underestimate Lampard, he's Lampard for a reason Grin. Chelsea defeat Barcelona 2 goals to 1 to end their tour of Japan with a trophy.
You can't be serious right now, Yeah ?

Real Madrid has continued as an utterly mess from where stopped against Bayern Munich.

Trailing by 2 goals against Arsenal at Halftime, both teams are playing with 10 Men, Buwaytress was probably right with his bet on Arsenal to win the ICC trophy.

Arsenal aren’t even the best team in North London any more now that Spurs have leapfrogged them. Emery is a good manager though, make no mistake about that. I think Arsenal will get into the top 4 this season, probably only in 4th place but as the expense of Chelsea & Man Utd.

I disagree, we (Chelsea) might miss out on trophies this season but I can guarantee Lampard won't disappoint, he'll successfully coach the team to a top4 finish. He knows if he can achieve that everyone would conclude that he had a great first season. That was sarri's game plan all along and he did achieve it although with the help of hazard but still Lampard can achieve same result even without hazard in the driving wheel.

I guess you're expecting way too much from him (with the top 4 expectation), Lampard was a great player, no doubt! But managing a team in the premier is entirely different, even with an experienced coach Chelsea with this squad will struggle to make top 4.

Anyway, Arsenal is a good way to win this

Hmm, that is a nice looking table with so many top teams. Imagine if the European Super League that's rumored to start in 2 years[1] actually becomes a thing? I wonder what would draw more attention from the fans, a Super League or the classic Champions League?

I suppose it's only fitting if Arsenal win the ICC
That would be nice, kinda a like an early consolation prize before shit goes down during the next season hehe  Grin

I suppose it's only fitting if Arsenal win the ICC, though I'm sure if Kane and co win it, it'll be the second-most fitting outcome. United didn't come close to anything, in case anyone thinks I forgot the poor devils.

Then again, I don't want anyone to say Liverpool should win the Charity Shield to salve the loss. Friendly cups where teams make wholesale changes isn't any shade of competitive football.

Anyway, I'm putting a small out lay on Arsenal over 3/1.

I'll be taking Real Madrid  (currently offered at 2.02 Odds) to win over Arsenal with the belief that Real Madrid will want  to step up their game after their abysmal performance against Bayern Munich yesterday Or Perhaps, we might see another experimental line up from Zidane but, I'm banking on the former.

Arsenal fans have suffered for a long time, I wouldn’t begrudge them a bit of fun & a little trophy Grin

Did you see that tackle by the Sevilla midfielder on our young full back? If that was in the street it’d be a short jail term.

The English team smiled end of the match yesterday. Juventus was well back after the 2nd half with two goals by Ronaldo and Higuain but could not hold it at the end. They had to conceive two more goals. That last goal by Kane was satisfying to watch. No one was ready for this even the keeper LOL but he spotted it very well.

Hey, don't knock this amount, Liverpool can buy 6 new defenders with that, loan them all out to teams and get back super youth machines =p
Nah! I am not underestimating this money. I was just not sure that if that's a lot of money or just some average lamp sum for a club.

A nice side note, the Manager of the market for Juventus aka Paratici is at ICC.

What is it mean? Well, we know the long love relationship between Juventus and Pogba...

Its quite strange for the chief of the market be at this competition in the middle of the market, he can be only meaning he is working there.

Anyway, Arsenal is a good way to win this

The last match for them will be vs Real Madrid.

Side note, teams will have around 13M € each, from this competition.

That's why they will go on Asia to play  Grin
Not sure if this is a lot money for a football club but for sure this is a lot of money for us individuals 🤪

Come on bitcoins! Land in the moon!!

But yeah, the prize money's really just the cream on the dessert. The exposure of ICC, the add ons and the prestige of playing alongside big names, it's just another preseason backslap and high-five. We all know that. But hey, fringe players love these as it still all adds up to OPTA and hence market value =p Agents love it too.
