In my opinion it will not be an easy game, because Belgium is already qualified for Euro 2024, even if we see odds of 1.67 in favor of Belgium in this game, I still see this low odds as a big trap, unless this odds would remain the same even when they release the starting 11 and they are the same starting 11 as in previous games, that is, the 11 best players in Belgium are playing. something that I highly doubt will happen, I see a scenario in which the Belgium coach will rotate the players, he will probably remove Lukaku and other good players to avoid unnecessary injuries and also give opportunities to other players who haven't been able to play very often

Belgium vs Sweden, I'd expect Belgium to win with relative ease. Sweden do pose a threat but it should be manageable for Belgium. I expect it to be a goalscoring affair with Belgium scoring thrice and Sweden once. Belgium have Lukaku and Doku who are in form while Sweden have Kulusevski and Gyokeres who are doing well for their respective teams.

The problem with the Brazil team is that the national team is just not balanced at all. They have all the wingers in the world on the team. But they have very limited strikers, midfielders, and also defensive players. I am not saying they don't have players for those positions. They definitely have players, but those players are not really good, to be honest. And if a player from the midfield or defense gets injured, they cannot replace him with a player who will be able to give the same level of service to the team. I think the next World Cup is going to be the last for Neymar though.

Yeah I agree with you and I find it interesting to bet on goals rather than the team who could win since sometimes it is quite random and coaches might give a chance to many second-line players. I find that almost all games ended with a goal at least.

This is a nice thread and good we have matches dedicated to it. But I always have problems predicting international football because of variety of factors that affects the matches such as;

• Weather conditions unknown 
• The seriousness of the competition
• The bookmakers choice of odds

Most times I sometimes bet on only international friendlies and I bet them on goals and it works some timesm

Well he is a long time that he is not coaching national teams,he have been coaching CSKA Moscow,Chelsea and Real Madrid so when he gets to Brazil it will be a completely different thing for him,you should not get your hopes that high for where Brazil will go.The good thing is that he will have quite some time to learn the team and the depth of the squad will surely be helpful but first Brazil needs to qualify for there and chances are really high for them to do so,they should avoid these really bad results like drawing with Venezuela.

Once Ancelotti get in the grips of it I am sure Brazil can go really high and they can even win the World Cup without this being a big surprise for me.

Honestly everyone is pissed from Brazil performance lately. Their performance in World Cup wasn't that top, they even failed to reach semifinals and to finish in top 4 teams.. Richarlison didn't give what he was supposed to offer for his team. Neymar might play good in a match and miss it badly in another. Vinicius Junior is fluctuating with his national team... I believe Ancelotti time to train the Brazilian team will be closer than we thought and once confirmed, he will have a heavy task fixing the Brazilians issues!

Brazil made a huge surprise in that game against Venezuela and many people I assume have lost a lot of money that is why it is better to not bet on teams no matter how big they are that has really low odds.The Brasileirao Championship has a lot of talented players and even if they have not the quality of Neymar,they should be given enough minutes,I forgot the names now but Botafogo has good attackers,Flamengo does too,they need just some time to harmonize in the national team and I think we can see a big Brazil again.

I think Brazilian football is not as strong as it used to be. Currently the quality of Brazilian players is below their average quality in previous years. There is no player who has the quality of Neymar in their young players. Brazil will still qualify for the 2026 world cup but I wouldn't put them in my bets. I can only hope for Argentina's return if we are talking about a team from South America.

Argentina won as expected with 1 early goal by Otamendi in the third minute. The problem was Brazil draw by 1 goal vs Venezuela, that was a surprising result especially in a home match and with their top players.. I expected them to win with 2 goals difference at least.
Right now Argentina jumped to the first rank alone with 2 points difference with Brazil.

2026 World Cup Qualifier Match Argentina vs Paraguay. And after a while the match will start. In the last 5 head-to-head matches, there have been 3 draws, and both teams have won 1 each. But currently Argentina are in great form, Argentina have won 5 of their last 5 matches. On the other hand, Paraguay has won 1 and drawn 1 in the last 5 matches and lost 3 matches. We have seen in the qualifier matches that Argentina has won 2 matches and is at number 2 in the points table and Paraguay is at number 6 in the points table with 1 draw and 1 loss in 2 matches. According to the current form, Argentina's chances of winning are very high. I think Argentina will win easily.

Chile - Peru is a tight game and both teams performance are close to each other in my opinion.
Brazil should win easily vs Venezuela. I think 2 goals difference should be the minimum acceptable score for them.

If Bolivia were as strong as Brazil or Argentina then they would be the hardest team to beat in South America. Even if they are only as strong as a mid-sized team in South America like Ecuador or Chile then they will also be a pretty strong team if they host it. But in reality Bolivia is very weak and if it wasn't La Paz maybe Bolivia would be a very sad team.

Sorry, maybe that was my mistake, I mean Bolivia last appeared in the world cup in 1994. And that was a long time ago, more than 2 decades.

If the Bolivian team was strong enough like Brazil or Argentina then they will definitely not lose any game in La Paz.
There was times where playing in high altitude was prohibited then it was reversed. Players suffer a lot from high altitudes.
Bolivia will face Ecuador in October 13, their records are 0 points with -7 goals, the worst in the table.

I think if only Bolivia had a squad at the same level as Ecuador or Colombia then I'm sure Bolivia would be the favorites to qualify for the world cup from South America. Because Bolivia has their home advantage. This means that Bolivia will have a 50/50 chance at home against any other South American Team other than Brazil, Argentina or Uruguay. And the chance of winning is between 60-70% when playing at their home.

That is a sad truth.Bolivia in 1994 I think it has been in the World Cup or 1998 don't remember well but I know that I used to see them and sometimes they surprised me for the good by their football playing against much stronger teams.Usually in qualifiers their stadium of above 3000 meters has been their advantage but Argentina the World Champions easy won there so I think they need to improve the team more and invest more in football as it looks like Bolivia has completely forgotten to invest and improve their national team.

Bolivia does have the advantage of being at an altitude above 3000 meters above sea level. La Paz Stadium is an additional strength for the Bolivian National Team. However, I think this is not a problem for the South American team because Bolivia's strength ranking is very far below other South American teams. We can see Bolivia appearing in the world cup a long time ago.
