I never look at the Brazilian side as a messy team because just as England players have a lot of talented players, the Brazilian side also are not short of talents. They also have some of the best players in the world playing in the best leagues, so to me they were equally matched with England.

In the 80th minute of the match, young up-and-coming star Endrick finished brilliantly with a great pass from Vinicius Jr.  Endrick's lone goal sealed the win for the team. Despite such a team condition against the likes of England, a win will undoubtedly restore the confidence of the team's players and management. 

At one time I saw such a discussion where many people said that Brazil will not be able to qualify for this World Cup. If Brazil does not qualify for the World Cup, the World Cup will be incomplete because when the football World Cup starts, Argentina and Brazil are the most talked about.

It was a quite interesting coincidence that Austria and Germany scored goals only 7 seconds after the matches started.    By the way France wasted a lot of chances and deserved that loss. The team effort wasn't good enough. Germany looked like there was really some progress in their game after getting really bad results for a long time.

This is a friendly match at the end of the day though. But these matches are like a rehearsal for Euro 2024 for these teams.

As Germany is the host country in this Euro they had better show the same effort there also. I really liked Musiala - Wirtz duo in this match so their star youngsters can play a big role in Euro 2024 too.

Friendly matches are usually meant to see how far the team has progressed and see the team's weaknesses so lost or win is not too important but indeed from this loses Southgate can evaluate which side should be improved whether it defensive lines or attacking lines besides that this match also  the intention is to consider which players Southgate will bring to Germany for Euro 2024 i didn't watching this match but i can see England and Brazil was attempts to playing with young players and i have been notice Southgate was putting Ollie Watkins as the striker and finally he can makes his debut match with England national team but some people says this is predictable because Ollie Watkins is onfire with Aston Villa and Southgate probably will putting him into England squad for Euro 2024 later

Besides Ollie Watkins i can see Anthony Gordon too in the squad and previously Anthony Gordon was into England U-21 squad and finally Southgate has decide to playing him yesterday and after seeing the current squad for England i will assume this team will be dominate by young players on Euro 2024 and for Brazil finally Douglas Luiz can return to playing again with this team and talking about Endrick his debut match indeed run well because he can scored and bringing Brazil to beat England and probably this result too can be used for Ancelotti to prioritize Endrick to playing with Real Madrid next season

Although we could not compare official matches with normal ones, yet friendlies could give an estimation about the performance of each team and the issues they have in different lines, in addition to testing new players.
There is few interesting friendlies matches left in my opinion:

Tuesday 26
England - Belgium
Germany - Netherlands
Spain - Brazil

There is many games in between but those are the most interesting though. England, Germany and Spain to win maybe?

The game was quite entertaining and competitive, both teams gave their best in that match. Southgate is used this match to give opportunity to some players to see how ready they are for the Euros. But it's quite unfortunate that they couldn't capitalize on that and deliver a good result that will convince the manager. But despite the loss they played very well, you know you can't always win in football all the time. I just hope Kyle Walker injury is not that severe and not the one that will keep him out for a long time, I wouldn't like the situation where he will miss the Euros.

England vs Brazil 0-1

Lots of young players in this match. England have Maino and Endrick. Indeed in this match England lost many experienced players like Kane and Saka. This defeat is still a big task for Southgate because they will meet big teams at Euro 2024. This defeat is the first since the 2022 world cup quarterfinal match against France.  If you look at this match it seems that England is ineffective in midfield. English players are too slow to send the ball. This is in contrast to Brazil who are faster. It seems that Sothgate must change that, so that the ball flows faster and does not lose the moment.

Nice debut for Toni Kroos after returning back to Germany national teams after retired last several years ago, he made one assist for faster goal scoring by Florian Wirtz the match begin on few second. Another one goal of Germany scoring by Kai Havertz on 49th minutes,
I don't too expected with friendly match although super big match between France vs Germany but both teams will not play on high intention such as official tournament.
Left one match later with friendly match before all players returning to their teams, some players have return awhile after getting injury and last information Harry Kane withdrew for next match against Belgium after getting muscle injury.

Argentina are world Champions after lifting the world cup in Qater, the caught boundaries especially because they're simply on the standards of others. These friendly games becomes interesting when your favorite player at club level is grabbing good standings in football. Argentina are supposed to flog El Salvador like 6 nil but looking from Argentines hand, they missed quite alot of goal scoring opportunities, this is a reason to stand out for.

It was a friendly game between France and Germany but definitely the results would have counted for something and the press would not have hesitated to backlash Germany if they had lost, and also question the preparedness of the team to host the euro competition. It's a good thing that Germany were able to win against a tough opponent like France and also maintain a clean sheet, to mean that is a clear indication that they are ready to host the other nations of the world in this Euro competition.

I do not like that the English coach did not rest Declan Rice in the friendly game, he did not even consider his importance to Arsenal and the series of important games that our club will need him for. That is just bad, I hope the coach rests him in their next game.

I didn't pay attention to friendlies matches while there were official ones running.
Argentina did well in their games against El Salvador by scoring three goals and Brazil were able to score a goal and win against England. Both teams had top players playing except of their captains.
There was also an interesting game between France and Germany with the latter team winning it by two goals, one of it scored since the beginning of the game.

Too soon Walker was replaced. This will be a loss for the club which is trying to be consistent until the end of the season.

Another name besides Ivan Tooney and Watkins, Bowen also needs to prove himself amidst Hary Kane's ankle injury, according to sources.
This England vs Brazil friendly match could be proof for Gordon, who was played as a starter by Gareth Southgate. I'm also waiting for Kobbie Mainoo's debut as a young midfielder if he plays.

I don't know why the England coach has put Marcus Rashford on even when he is in a good moment, yet the England coach put Marcus Rashford on the bench. I don't understand why, in my opinion Marcus Rashford is a good player who could put him in the starting 11. but the coach knows what he is doing. Good opponent for England as they prepare for the Euros, with Harry Kane not in the list for this game, this is a good chance for Watkins to try to make himself an option for the England coach before Ivan Tooney gets his chance.

Today there was a match between Argentina and El Salvador, in the match Argentina easily defeated El Salvador by 3-0. I did not see any competition in this match today. I couldn't watch the whole match but I watched the highlights. Cristian Romero in the 16th minute and Enzo Fernández in the 42nd minute and Giovani Lo Celso in the 52nd minute scored 1 goal each. Argentina is a very strong team and can easily beat a team like El Salvador. However, El Salvador played very well as a small team.

Gibraltar - Lithuania
These teams will have two games this Thursday and the next Tuesday in UEFA Nations League, as a relegation play-out match for League C.
Lithuania are normally favourite and better than Gibraltar.
I didn't figure out in the first place why that version of Nations League will resume since it has finished in 2023 and why at that time? I wonder know the logic behind that and behind Nations League itself..

AFC Asian Cup

The competition started yesterday with the host nation Qatar beating Lebanon by three goals.
Three games were played today with a victory for Australia  against India and a 0 - 0 draw in the other two involving China in one and Syria in the other.
Tomorrow there will be three other games:

with so many places available and many teams in a worse state than Brazil, I see Brazil managing to qualify, but there are many things that Brazil needs to correct, I commented on this in a post I made a few days ago and I will add what I have been saying, the problem of Brazil is in the directors, I'll give an example: the current coach is an interim coach, I wonder if he is interim for how long? Is it really normal to have an interim coach for more than 1 year?  I see the press saying that Brazil's current coach is interim until Ancelotti ends his contract with Real Madrid and accepts to be Brazil's coach, but that would mean that Brazil's directors had already reached an agreement with Real Madrid and since the interim coach of Brazil is also coach of one of the Brazilian teams that is in Brasileirao, so it shows that it is possible to be coach of a local and national team at the same time, so why didn't Ancelotti become coach of Brazil at the same time real madrid coach?

The reason is probably because it would be difficult to pay attention to two teams at the same time, so I wonder how much time the interim coach has to work, given that he needs to focus on Fluminense?
