I am very surprised, there is no italy there. This is very unfortunately when italy failed to advance to the rounds-finals of the 2018 World Cup in Russia. There are many surprises that occur, there are some countries that became the contestants of the world cup for the first time throughout the history of their country. It will be very interesting and will be a big gamble.

Yes Australia deserved their spot in the World Cup even though they had to go through the hard way. I'm not sure they will crash out early like they have been the last few times. I remember when Australia made the world Cup for the first time in many years they had to go through the hard way and in the World Cup they made it all the way through to the semi finals with Italy getting a lucky penalty which I still say wasn't a penalty lol. Anyway I think Australia will do well in next years World Cup.

Australia is the 31st Qualified Team! in a few hours there will be the last match between Peru and New Zealand so there will be the 32nd and last qualifying team! Holland, Italy and Chile are 3 big teams that had to qualify.

This is really shocking for me one of two worlds best teams now out of world cup its first time happening in my life Italy not in Sweden done great job in away match and stun home team Australia also deserve spot in world cup as they are doing also good job in recent years Honduras need some more time in this level

Well its the game I've been waiting for, Australia v Honduras. If its anything like the 1st leg, its sure going to be a great game to watch and I just hope this time Australia is able to score goals and win as they were the better team in the 1st leg but just couldn't score the goals they should of. With the home fans on their side they should be able to win and make it through to the World Cup.

The will be a lot of Scandinavian countries in the World Cup next year, with Denmark, Sweden and Iceland are being represented in the world cup next year I think this will be the first time there was a lot of Scandinavian countries being represented in the World Cup.

Some unpredicted results happened today. In WC qualification Denmark scored 5 goals away vs Ireland. They conceded early goal, but then Denmark scored 5 goals in a row! Hattrick by Eriksen and offcourse - penalty scored by Lord Bendtner.
Now about frendlies. Nigeria won against Argentina 4:2. Argentina played without Messi, but other their stars was in squad. It was really fun game to watch, despite that Argentina didn't played best their football.

Well the end will justify the means, i still thought Australia could have done better because Honduras no matter how good they are should n pose myuch of a threat to a nation with rich footballers like australia.

I wouldn't say Australia have rich footballers as not many play in Europe as the Australian side is mostly made up of local talent playing in the A-League. If more Australian players played in Europe I think Australia would have a top class team but I must admit they can match it with some of the best on their day. Now we shall see how well they handle the pressure in this upcoming 2nd leg.

so why call it world cup if only European teams and couple teams from South America allowed to be in the tournament. it is named a world Cup so every continent have representative and maybe it's not fair that some of the big names out there didn't qualify like It's ly Netherlands or Chile but they can only blame themselves for not being able to qualify for the world cup because if you can't qualify you don't have a place and I think that the football in Africa is evolving we are seeing many players playing in Europe even in big teams look at Cost Ivory or Cameron or Ghana Algeria they have so many big names that deserve to be playing in WC but they didn't manage to qualify because the competition is getting Stronger out there I remember that in last world Cup Germany had a difficult match against Algeria and they only managed to beat them in extra time so some teams should definitely have been out there but luck was not on there side.

Yes its true in all world cup history we have no threat from these Asian and African teams because they have very weak local systems even many countries have luxury with players doing great job in European leagues but still they fail to give any impact here specially from Asia they need to spend some more time and money for growth of new talent

You even have to ask yourself how many players from Africa and Asia are in the major clubs in Europe, playing there, In my country, the leagues is so poor that we the citizens don't even watch it in the first place. We are all watching the European Leagues because they are more entertaining.

Not that many people here will have been following the Asia Cup internationals, but as someone with ties to Malaysia, I would like to denounce their performance resulting in a 4-1 thrashing at the hands of... the Democratic People's Republic of North Korea. I actually thought taking a Draw No Bet on Malaysia @9.00 was very good.

yeah Coast Ivory had a difficult match but Morroco showed their strength The Ivory coast could qualified if they didn't lose against Bigger or even winning in their game before this one against Mali they would have the upper hand as a draw would have guarantee their trip to Russia in Summer they would be missed.
And For Tunisia they still have a chance to get to second round but it all depends on who will be there with them in the group stages the draw for group stages will be on the 1st of September and only 4 spots left undecided Italy or Sweden , Denmark or Ireland , Australia or Honduras and Peru or New zealand and none of them put a big step for qualifications so it will be interesting

I doubt that any of the African teams will be able to make an impact in the upcoming World Cup. I am saying this with the exception of Egypt who I think they are going to do something and that will depend on on the group I which they are placed. I am tipping the Brazilians to eventually win the trophy they have assembled a young and very capable team.
