Being a Bounty manager managing a campaign requires a reputation that can be accounted for. Do you have that reputation, so you are very confident to manage a campaign with a new account that still doesn't have a high enough Rank.
Many other bounty managers who are more experienced than you can manage the campaign well, but do not have the opportunity to manage the Bounty Campaign at this time.

Many new bounty managers are constantly popping up. it takes several portfolios to make you trustworthy.

If indeed you are sure to become a Bounty Manager you can try it, good luck.

I don't want to discourage you, but I'm not sure about your perspectives in campaign management. Now there is simply way more signature campaign managersvthan available campaigns. Most campaign mangers, even experienced ones are struggling to get hired. Most of campaigns now are managed by just 2 most popular managers. For new manager without experience it's extremely difficult to get a job.
Offcourse, there is altcoin blunties, but I think it's not worth to look at this area. There is just too many scams, so risks both for manager and participants is too big.
There is few new managers who started in 2019 and got hired by few companies, but they'we been around on forum for fewvyears already. So, you may try your luck when it will be right time. You won't loose nothing by just trying Wink.

I have question to you about your confidence, "do you think you would be a campaign manager on the forum in near future?" If you believe yourself, then yes you could be campaign manager here. If you don't believe yourself then no you wouldn't achieve your goal here. I don't wanna demotivate you, because we have noticed previously there is even low ranked campaign managers have ran campaigns. So why you wouldn't be? But besides of your belief you have to struggle a lot to achieve your goals. First thing is you have to contribute yourself for forum, no matter what is your niche. You may learn from here and then contribute your best knowledge and experiences with community especially cryptocurrency related. When you will contribute yourself on the other hand community will help you to build your account and your reputation will increase automatically. So it would be easy to find job for you like campaign management's.

However, welcome to the forum and best of luck for you.

My biggest motivation in wanting to work with campaigns or in regards to crypto is because, as Ive spent a fair amount of time on Telegram, it is a dirty and filthy business that amazes me how these criminals get away with this hustling of todays bright eyed youth and just takes their money like its nothing.  It is sickening to me and I just felt motivated to work towards creating something.trustworthy and honest.  If say I one day became a CM and established myself, people could know if I was in charge of it that there would be none of this nonsense that happens all over Telegram all the time.  I mean it boggles the mind.  The purpose of crypto, at least how I see it, and the way people exploit it are just completly opposite from their purposes. .To take something thats unregulated and decentralized that is supposed to offer freedom and autonomy but only use that for the scummiest intent just really irks me to the highest degree.

Before you dive into the work of community managers, it helps you become a "researcher" for your reputation in the future. Maybe of all the CMs you mean, some of them are not part of a "dirty and filthy" business. The ignorance and greed of CM about high pay is an opportunity for business players of this kind who eventually they are trapped by the victims' claims.

Well I will say as I came back in here to check out my post, I was thinking one or two replies at best.....I saw 15 and was like wtf.  R u serious?  So I jumped in and read all your comments and will try to answer or respond to most.

First I am a newbie and this is my first and only account.  Believe that if you will but finding my alt account is not going tohappen and you would have a better chance finding out Satoshi Nakamoto was your mailman this whole time.  I am a bitcointalk virgin......sort of.

I did reference coming in here and reading posts and researching, I am a very thorough and diligent person in that regard so I certainly picked up some things here far before I signed up and then got the balls to post.

I want to thank the ones that offered advice on what steps to take in regards to campaigns, I appreciate your advice and taking the time to give it.  The rest of you guys made me go back and reread my original statement but I think I was vastly misinterpreted.  I am aware I cant and wont be running campaigns nedt week or next month or however long.  I was just looking to see how one would go in that direction with that being the goal.  Yes I know about crypto, Id say on a 1-10 scale 6 or 7 maybe.  Im not an expert or able to write code but I can discuss it without sounding like a moron.  Whats a P2P exchange?  Im kidding im kidding.

Ok Im stopping there for now.  Last thing is I didnt realize that so many here had running campaigns as a goal of theirs.  That was total ignorance on my part.  I understand though.  I need to be an active participant in this community and offer honest and helpful insight.to be able to do anything.  That makes sense.  I will be adding my voice more into threads in here and start from ground zero then.  Nothing ever in life is worth having if you didnt work hard to earn it.  My sleeves are rolled up then.  Cheers

I have confusion that you are a real newbie here. If there is an alt account community will not be surprised really. I can not understand how a newbie would be interested in his/her first post. Yes, it's normal for a newbie who is in this forum at least some weeks or months but not for one day and on his first post.  Smiley

Indeed. The first time I entered the forum I didn't even know what Bitcoin is and how to earn it. Yet this user seems to know what a CAMPAIGN MANAGER is despite being a newbie. There are a lot of ways to earn in here yet he seems to be focused on a far far level of all the jobs in the forum. He also mentioned a lot of terminologies in which it seems he's familiar with how the forum works.

I don't think he's a real user but rather a dummy account whom made a thread so others can post a reply. He's been inactive after the post and only posted the thread from the seven days since he registered. Also, OP, better focus on proper formatting first. Long paragraphs are considered boring in any web platforms.

But for OP, you need first to build your reputation here like ranking up to behave more chances to become a campaign manager, unless you have known some project owners outside of this forum and will hire you to manage their campaign here.
Correct, Great Arkansas. I have been here for long enough. I don't say I have good reputation here but people know what I do on the forum. All of my merits are earned, not airdropped and I has been stably ranked in the top 40-60 of most merited users, and I am on my way to the 2xLegendary.

Unfortunately, my signature management service has not yet brought a single campaign to me but I know the industry is very competitive nowadays. First comes, first serves. Not totally exactly but something like that. When you join here later, you have to do more than grandfathers to reach what they have for now. It is life. OP should know that if he want to build his career here.

Do you have knowledge about cryptocurrency?. It is one of the important things that you should learn rather than aiming to join bounties, airdrops and more without learning first. You should also know the forum rules and oyher features that you can use to find threads that is useful in learning.

Try to build your account first before wanting to became campaign manager.

Campaign managing  its not easy task and people will not hire you if you do not have any background doing the job you want to offer. Other than that project only hired a persons depend on the reputation they have here. Even you have that knowledge and understanding how to manage a campaign it doesnt mean you will be hired. even how fit you are in that position you will not get it if you dont have any reputation or good experience managing a campaign.

To get hired regularly to manage services here on the forum; you need reputation and competence. This means, you need to be a somewhat trustworthy member on the forum. This comes naturally through consistent effort, do not try to farm for trust.
In addition, you need to be competent enough to handle all the facets on managing a service. So research, build yourself and get the appropriate tools. And keep advertising. Good luck.

If you have a reputation already outside the forum for managing giveaway or some sort of campaign then maybe you can have a chance even at your current status here. Though some say, you need reputation here because a newbie cant easily get a client out here. Trust is valuable here, so unless youve been handling a campaign before or you are a known figure, you still need to be visible here as reputable before got noticed.

Like what others have mentioned. This is not an easy process, but do your thing, who knows you can be like most reputable and trusted manager here too.( if your persistent)

As a newbie, you can hope to only manage some very shady altcoin campaigns, which have a high chance of being a scam, and that means you could be red-tagged for helping to promote a scam. The entry barrier and competition for being a campaign manager is very high, so it's quite a poor career choice. You are right that almost no one came to this forum to become a manager, and this actually means that you can't just do that - if you look at managers, most of them are veteran members that were here for 5-8 years and have a good reputation. You'd need to repeat their path if you want to join them.

I'll try to play devil's advocate here,  Grin. A supposedly newbie account, hmm and then asking how to enter and manage a campaign? Sounds to me he has an alt here but doesn't have the balls to ask. So he created this alt account pretends to be interested on all blockchain related project. But behind his intention (and his original account) is to be a bounty campaign manager.  Smiley

Ok first post chastise my formatting if you must.
Sorry, you only need to set it as best you can to make it easy to read and understood by users.

although I have been on here as a visitor to browse or research plenty.
Most of the time you spend previously researching and understanding the forum as a visitor should lead you to one of the right doors to begin your journey that aims to become a bounty manager. Really, a beginner will not be prevented from being a bounty manager here but you have to buy copper members instead to send pictures and more to reduce post waiting time and more.

I want to get my foot in the door on that side and eventually work into managing campaigns myself.
You dont have to have a reputation to be a bounty manager even if you are a beginner but experience and ability may be important.

Not to discourage you, but good luck getting to manage campaigns with a new account. Heck, even most older and higher-ranked members could barely even get campaigns to manage. You prooobably gotta slow down a bit there.

My eyes hurt reading that kind of OP.
I'm not sure anyone will hire you just because of this kind of writing.

You are still a newbie here why you immediately think to be an important part of managing a campaign etc.  Most of the people who manage campaigns now, I'm sure at first when they were still newbie users, they didn't immediately ask to be able to manage the campaign.  But they contribute well until finally they can be trusted to manage the campaign.

Wake up friend, what reputation do you have in this forum?  So you ask that.

how does one start the path to being involved in the promotion side of airdrops, bounties, contests, and any other type of campaign or project that would be associated with that list?  I want to get my foot in the door on that side and eventually work into managing campaigns myself.
It's uncanny to register on a forum and immediately start aiming to be a campaign manager, I am certain that even the established campaign managers in the forum at the moment didn't know they'll be one in the beginning, they joined the forum because they wanted to discuss about bitcoin, a subject they found interesting and filled with potentials; they are CM's today, but that wasn't the primary goal.
(...)
Exactly, I am also curious here, since the OP is admitted newly registered and as we all know, he is a newbie with 1 post, how he got any ideas about campaign managing, like airdrops, bounty, etc if he/she new to Bitcointalk. Well as the OP said, he/she used to visit to browse or some research here.
But for OP, you need first to build your reputation here like ranking up to behave more chances to become a campaign manager, unless you have known some project owners outside of this forum and will hire you to manage their campaign here.

Hello, I just joined bitcointalk for the firstbtime as of late although I have been on here as a visitor to browse or research plenty.  I was just curious if any veteran btctalkers out there or specifically somebody with direct experience, how does one start the path to being involved in the promotion side of airdrops, bounties, contests, and any other type of campaign or project that would be associated with that list?  I want to get my foot in the door on that side and eventually work into managing campaigns myself.  My motivation is a few things, first I am highly mezmerized and have a great interest in cryptocurrency, blockchain tech, and decentralization, and I dont think anarchy is a proper word but a digitized revolution that takes the power out of the hyper mega rich corporations and the top .001% of the worlds pop. that inevitably makes all the decisions for us right now.  I know they say every vote counts, I just think "they" are working for them.  Are they all?  You either are or arent and theres no in between, imo.  Well Im curious to see what you have as advice because I want to provide something comprehensive, researched thoroughly, ran transparently from every angle, deliver a promise of honesty and high ethical foundation.  I just think we need more good people helping the public that is so naive and vulnerable but are also extremely supportive, loyal, and passionate about everything crypto.  Let me hear it and Im hoping to jump right in if that's an option.  Ok first post chastise my formatting if you must.

I would start with using paragraphs. That wall of text is difficult to read Sad That said, good luck with your goal, I'm sure you will get there with the right motivation and dedication.

"airdrops, bounties, contest etc" you should do your research on them, you'll probably see that they are almost all scams, either stealing your private documents, selling your identity and emails or just wasting your time for coins that are nonsense.
