Been sort of keeping an eye on bitcoin for years, wish I'd followed my instincts sooner.

Started building websites a long time ago, mostly by hand. (I was thrilled by the move from lynx to mosaic, and the introduction of the img tag!)

Still working mostly with PHP (Drupal, now back to WordPress), but much more interested in nodejs, meteor, foundation, etc, etc.

More wild times coming up in the web!!

Finally joined this forum because I wanted to respond to someone who is trying to run bitcoin-qt on an Amazon EC2 micro instance, and running into memory issues. Wanted to ask if he'd tried setting up swap, that has worked for me to solve memory issues with MySQL.

OK, there's one of my first five posts!

Hi All,

This seems to be the starting point, so this is where I'll start  Grin

Just a quick message to introduce myself, I'm a Web Designer down in New Zealand who is finally getting in to the cryptocurrency scene after reading about it briefly about a year ago - yep, I'm kicking myself LOL.

My approach is to both offer services using Bitcoin, and also help provide awareness to the main stream public using Bitcoin

You can view my website at www.webdesignforhire.co.nz

I have also started a directory to help promote Bitcoin, both down under as well as in the greater community.
You can view this site at www.bitcoindirectory.co.nz as well as the .com.au

Professional graphic designer here... I can help with any online graphics you need, all payments received in BTC or LTC or course.

Cheers,
K

Hello everyone. I develop programs with python and have recently started programming some web software with django. I plan to release a few websites for the litecoin guys and will even be offering my services in Litecoins (or btc). I expect great things to arise from these currencies and am glad I can be here with everyone to see it happen.

Happy Easter crypto currency community!  New here, need to post in tech sections but annoying new user limits are in place.  I understand why though.
